Sgarbossa was recalled from AHL Hershey on Monday.
Sgarbossa was sent to the AHL on Sunday but will rejoin the Capitals a day later. He was productive during Saturday's 8-1 road win over St. Louis, tallying a goal and an assist in 11:25 of ice time.
