Hurricanes' Spencer Martin: Summoned from minors

Martin was recalled from AHL Chicago on Monday.

Martin is back with the big club after a brief trip to the minors Sunday. He made 23 saves on 28 shots in Saturday's 6-4 loss to Colorado. Due to the absence of Frederik Andersen (lower body), Martin will probably occupy the backup role behind Pyotr Kochetkov in Monday's road game against Vegas.
