Adames went 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Diamondbacks.
Adames lined a double into left field during the fifth inning before coming around to score the Giants' lone run. The 29-year-old shortstop has struggled in his last five games, batting .190 with a 1:10 BB:K across 22 plate appearances during that span. Adames is now slashing .218/.296/.339 with 24 runs scored, 19 RBI, eight doubles and four home runs across 186 plate appearances this season.

Adames went 2-for-4 with a double and a walk in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Cubs.
Adames singled in the first inning and knocked a double into left field during the fifth, delivering his second multi-hit performance over his last five games. The 29-year-old shortstop has gone 7-for-20 with two home runs and two doubles in that span, rebounding from an early-season slump after recording a .185 batting average over his first 20 appearances. Adames was red hot out of the gate Sunday, going deep in the first and third innings. He added an RBI double during the Giants' three-run fifth inning. Adames went 3-for-7 with a double, three RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Friday's 10-9 extra-innings win over the Mariners.
Adames hit an RBI double in the fifth inning to give the Giants a 6-5 lead. That was one of many twists and turns in the game, which ended with his two-run, walk-off single in the 11th. He doubled his hit total for the season and is now batting .200 (6-for-30) with six RBI and three runs scored over seven contests. Adames also logged his first steal of the campaign, and he could be a contributor with his speed after a career-high 21 thefts in 2024 with the Brewers.

Giants' Willy Adames: Settling into No. 2 spot
Adames will start at shortstop and bat second in Wednesday's game against the Astros, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
After inking a $182 million deal in free agency this winter, Adames has quickly found a home in the No. 2 spot in the lineup, batting out of that spot in the order in each of the Giants' first six games. Though the Giants head into Wednesday's contest with a 4-1 record, Adames hasn't played a big role in the team's early success thus far; he's slashing just .158/.190/.211 with three RBI and one run.
