    Just named to his first All-Star Game, Caminero wrapped up the scoring on the night by clobbering a Chase Lee sweeper to lead off the seventh inning. The 22-year-old third baseman is up to 22 homers on the season, including five in his last 16 games, but he's otherwise in a bit of a rut and is slashing .224/.239/.493 over that stretch with a 2:18 BB:K.

    Caminero went 1-for-4 with two RBI on Sunday against the Twins.

    Caminero had some timely hitting Sunday, driving in runs on a fielder's choice and sacrifice fly. He went 3-for-12 across the Rays' weekend series against the Twins, but he still managed at least one RBI in all three contests.     It was the second four-hit attack of the year by Caminero, who continues to tear the cover off the ball. The hard-hitting third baseman has nine homers and 10 doubles over his last 25 outings, slashing .323/.385/.697 with 28 RBI, two stolen bases and 25 runs scored covering 109 plate appearances during this stretch. Caminero's 2024 campaign may have been beset by injury, but he's beginning to display the slugging potential that helped make him one of the top prospects in baseball a year ago.
