Caminero went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Tigers.
Just named to his first All-Star Game, Caminero wrapped up the scoring on the night by clobbering a Chase Lee sweeper to lead off the seventh inning. The 22-year-old third baseman is up to 22 homers on the season, including five in his last 16 games, but he's otherwise in a bit of a rut and is slashing .224/.239/.493 over that stretch with a 2:18 BB:K.

Rays' Junior Caminero: Drives in pair
Caminero went 1-for-4 with two RBI on Sunday against the Twins.
Caminero had some timely hitting Sunday, driving in runs on a fielder's choice and sacrifice fly. He went 3-for-12 across the Rays' weekend series against the Twins, but he still managed at least one RBI in all three contests. Caminero has been exceptionally productive since late May, racking up 13 home runs with 37 RBI and 33 runs scored while hitting .283 across his last 40 games.

Caminero went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run during Monday's 6-4 loss to the Athletics.
Caminero has been having a breakout campaign this season, and that continued with another home run Monday. He's now up to 21 home runs on the season, tied for ninth in MLB. At 21-years-old, he is the youngest member of the top-10. The young infielder is slashing .259/.303/.518 with 53 RBI this season.

Rays' Junior Caminero: Getting afternoon off
Caminero is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Curtis Mead will cover third base while Caminero receives a breather for the first time since June 20. While starting each of the Rays' last seven games, the 21-year-old went 7-for-30 with three solo home runs, a double, a walk and three additional runs.

Caminero tied the game at 1-1 in the fourth inning to record his 19th home run of the season. He continued his strong run in June, as he has six long balls across 19 games in the month, while also chipping in 13 RBI and 16 runs scored.

Caminero went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 8-3 win over the Tigers.
The third baseman slugged his 18th long ball of the season in the fourth inning off Sawyer Gipson-Long, staking the Rays to a 7-1 lead. Caminero has been on a month-long heater, batting .314 (33-for-105) since May 23 with 10 doubles, 10 homers, 26 runs and 29 RBI in 27 games. His success has been boosted by a huge improvement in his plate discipline -- the 21-year-old has an 11:16 BB:K during that span, after he compiled an 8:38 BB:K through his first 45 contests this season.

Caminero went 4-for-5 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 12-8 win over Baltimore.
It was the second four-hit attack of the year by Caminero, who continues to tear the cover off the ball. The hard-hitting third baseman has nine homers and 10 doubles over his last 25 outings, slashing .323/.385/.697 with 28 RBI, two stolen bases and 25 runs scored covering 109 plate appearances during this stretch. Caminero's 2024 campaign may have been beset by injury, but he's beginning to display the slugging potential that helped make him one of the top prospects in baseball a year ago.
