Jones has returned from a quadriceps injury with High-A Bowling Green and is hitting .273 with one stolen base and seven strikeouts in five games.
A toolsy outfielder who played football his freshman year at Stanford before committing full-time to baseball, Jones' strikeouts will be the main thing to watch in his age-22 season. He has plus raw power and plus speed while hitting from the left side.

Rays' Brock Jones: Out with quad injury
Rotowire
Jones is on the 7-day injured list at Single-A Charleston with a quad injury, Sam Dykstra of MLB.com reports.
He presumably suffered the injury in minors camp, and assuming it's just a strain, Jones should be set for his return to Single-A in the coming weeks. An athletic former two-sport athlete at Stanford, Jones' ability to develop a passable hit tool will be the key to his next couple seasons in the minors.
