Guardians' Erik Sabrowski: Heads to injured list
The Guardians placed Sabrowski (elbow) on the 15-day injured list Thursday.
Sabrowski missed most of the Cactus League schedule while dealing with inflammation in his elbow, but he has resumed throwing from flat ground up to 105 feet, per MLB.com. The 27-year-old lefty doesn't have a defined return timeline just yet, but that may change once he receives the green light to begin throwing off a mound.

Guardians' Erik Sabrowski: Extends throwing distance
Sabrowski (elbow) extended his throwing distance to 90 feet Wednesday.
Sabrowski started playing catch from 60 feet out last Wednesday, and the Guardians seem to be building him up relatively slowly. Assuming he doesn't run into any setbacks in his rehab from an anti-inflammatory injection, the 27-year-old southpaw could return to game action sometime in late April or early May.

Guardians' Erik Sabrowski: Resumes throwing
Sabrowki (elbow) played catch from 60 feet Wednesday.
Sabrowski was shut down from throwing for a few days after receiving an injection Friday to treat inflammation in his elbow. He's now been given the green light to start up a throwing program, though it's still unclear how far away he is from pitching in a game.

Guardians' Erik Sabrowski: Receives injection
Sabrowski received an anti-inflammatory injection in his elbow Friday, Tom Withers of the Associated Press reports.
The injection will cause Sabrowski to sit down for a few days, and the Guardians have yet to give a timetable for his return. The 27-year-old has yet to appear in a game this spring, but if healthy he should still have a spot in Cleveland's bullpen after posting a 19:4 K:BB over 12.2 shutout regular-season innings in the majors last year.

Guardians' Erik Sabrowski: Earns first career save
Sabrowski allowed two hits and a walk while striking out two over 2.1 scoreless innings to earn the save in Friday's 5-1 win over the Cardinals.
Sabrowski entered the game with the Guardians ahead 4-1 in the seventh inning and covered the rest of the game. He has made six appearances -- five longer than one inning -- since joining the major-league roster Aug. 28. He's yet to allow a run while posting a 0.90 WHIP and 13:3 K:BB over 10 innings, maintaining strong strikeouts numbers while getting his walk rate under better control after posting a 7.3 BB/9 over 37 innings at Triple-A this year. Sabrowski will continue to fill a multi-inning role in the Guardians' elite bullpen.

Guardians' Erik Sabrowski: Receives first MLB call-up
The Guardians recalled Sabrowski from Triple-A Columbus on Wednesday, Tom Withers of the Associated Press reports.
Cleveland designated lefty Anthony Gose for assignment to clear room on the 40-man roster and 26-man active roster for Sabrowski, who will be making his MLB debut if and when he gets into a game. A 26-year-old lefty reliever, Sabrowski had turned in a 4.38 ERA, 1.70 WHIP and 53:30 K:BB over 37 innings at Columbus this season.
