  • Rockies' Victor Vodnik: Called up to bullpen

Colorado selected Vodnik's contract from Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday. The 23-year-old was acquired from Atlanta in late July for Pierce Johnson and will get his first taste of the majors as the Rockies look ahead to 2024 and beyond. Vodnik has a 3.35 ERA and 69:31 K:BB through 53.2 innings this season between Double-A and Triple-A.

  • Rockies' Victor Vodnik: Headed to majors

Vodnik will be called up from Triple-A Albuquerque prior to Friday's game versus the Giants, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports. Acquired from Atlanta in the Pierce Johnson trade, Vodnik holds a 3.35 ERA and 69:31 K:BB over 53.2 innings between the Double- and Triple-A level this season. The 23-year-old is a hard thrower, but his control is an issue. Vodnik will be making his major-league debut when he makes an appearance.

  • Rockies' Victor Vodnik: Dealt to Colorado

The Rockies acquired Vodnik and right-hander Tanner Gordon from Atlanta on Monday in exchange for right-hander Pierce Johnson, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports. Vodnik immediately becomes one of the top reliever prospects in the Rockies' farm system, and while the move to Colorado probably lowers his fantasy ceiling when he ultimately reaches the majors, he likely won't have to wait as long for his first big-league call-up. The 23-year-old right-hander has spent the entire season at Double-A Mississippi, converting all four of his save chances while compiling a 3.10 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 56:25 K:BB in 40.2 innings.

  • Braves' Victor Vodnik: Heads back to minors camp

Vodnik was reassigned to minor-league camp Friday by Atlanta. Vodnik's removal brings the Atlanta camp roster down to 52 total players. The 23-year-old is one of the best relief prospects in the team's system, and he posted a 2.34 ERA over 31 appearances with Double-A Mississippi and Triple-A Gwinnett in 2022. There's a very good chance he makes his big-league debut in 2023.

  • Braves' Victor Vodnik: Included in 60-man roster pool

The Braves added Vodnik to their 60-man roster pool Wednesday. Vovdnik spent the 2019 season at Low-A Rome, starting in three of his 23 appearances and submitting a 2.94 ERA and 69:24 K:BB in 67.1 innings. He'll report to the Braves' satellite camp in Gwinnett.
