Collins is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Guardians.
Following Garrett Mitchell's (oblique) placement on the injured list April 26, Collins had been holding down a near-everyday role in the Milwaukee outfield, but he seems to have since fallen out of favor. Collins has now started in just one of the Brewers' last four games against right-handed pitching, while Jake Bauers has drawn three starts over that stretch.

Collins is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.
After Garrett Mitchell (oblique) landed on the injured list April 26, Collins has taken on a more regular role in the outfield and has produced a .782 OPS since that time. However, his grasp on an everyday gig could be slipping, as Collins now finds himself on the bench versus a right-handed pitcher (Drew Rasmussen) for the second time in the series. The switch-hitting Collins has now batted second in the Brewers' last two matchups against left-handed pitchers, but the 27-year-old has been gaining a foothold in Milwaukee's lineup against righties too, and he seems to be the main beneficiary of an IL stint for Garrett Mitchell (oblique). Collins (elbow) will start in left field and bat seventh against the Cubs on Friday.
Collins made an early exit from Wednesday's contest after getting hit on the elbow by a pitch. After a day off Thursday, he's feeling well enough to return to the starting nine against Ben Brown and the Cubs. The 27-year-old outfielder is slashing .263/.333/.447 across 42 plate appearances this season and has recorded a base hit in each of his last five games.

Brewers' Isaac Collins: Exits after HBP
Collins was removed from Wednesday's game against the White Sox after getting hit on the elbow by a pitch, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Collins took a 95-mph fastball off his right elbow during the second inning of Wednesday's contest. He initially remained in the game but was eventually replaced on defense by Vinny Capra during the third frame. The Brewers have already determined that Collins only suffered a bruise as a result of the incident, so while he may sit out a game or two to heal, a trip to the IL shouldn't be necessary.

Collins went 1-for-4 with a solo homer, a walk, two runs scored and an additional RBI in Tuesday's win over the White Sox.
Collins put the Brewers ahead quickly with a solo home run in the first inning. It was his first long ball and first RBI as a major leaguer, and he's now tallied a hit in four straight games. The 27-year-old is hitting .243/.300/.405 with six runs scored and a 3:8 BB:K in 40 plate appearances.

Brewers' Isaac Collins: Secures Opening Day spot
The Brewers announced Wednesday that Collins will be included on the Opening Day roster, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Collins brings good speed to the table and has the ability to play the outfield as well as second base and third base, all of which were factors in the Brewers' decision to carry him on the Opening Day roster as a bench player. He posted a .329 OPS over 11 games in the majors in 2024 and is unlikely to see significant playing time while he's up with Milwaukee.

Brewers' Isaac Collins: Promoted to big club
The Brewers selected Collins' contract from Triple-A Nashville on Sunday.
Collins was in the midst of a nine-game hitting streak with Nashville prior to his first career promotion to the majors. In Triple-A this season, he is slashing .271/.384/.482 with 23 stolen bases, 29 doubles, 15 home runs and 77 RBI across 500 plate appearances. Brewer Hicklen was optioned to Nashville in a corresponding move.
