  • Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Steps up in Game 5 victory

Conley posted 16 points (5-7 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, eight assists and one steal over 26 minutes during Wednesday's 121-110 win over the Warriors in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Conley turned back the clock, scoring a playoff-high 16 points as the Timberwolves eliminated the Warriors. In what has been an underwhelming season for the veteran, Conley continues to take a backseat, stepping up only when needed. Despite starting, Conley has played more than 28 minutes only twice during the postseason, topping double digits on two separate occasions. Donte DiVincenzo has proven himself to be a more than adequate backup, allowing Conley to play a limited role. Minnesota will now play either the Thunder or the Nuggets in the Conference Finals, where Conley will be looking to advance to his first-ever NBA Finals.

  • Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Quiet postseason continues

Conley produced zero points (0-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one rebound, five assists and one steal over 22 minutes during Tuesday's 99-88 loss to the Warriors in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Conley has had a brutal start to the postseason. He's been held scoreless twice through six games and has yet to hit double-digit points. It wouldn't be a surprise if the Timberwolves started to rely on Donte DiVincenzo a lot more going forward.

  • Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Struggles in Game 4 win

Conley racked up two points (1-5 FG, 0-4 3Pt), one rebound, two assists and one block in 25 minutes during Sunday's 116-113 win over the Lakers in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Conley couldn't get going in Sunday's game, as he struggled in the shooting department, missing all four attempts from beyond the arc. Along with failing to make an impact in Game 4, the veteran guard suffered a leg injury, which could show up on the injury report ahead of Game 5. The 37-year-old has struggled throughout this series, averaging 5.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.0 steals per game, shooting a dismal 38.1 percent from the floor and 27.3 percent from deep.

  • Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Returns Sunday

Conley (leg) has returned for the start of the fourth quarter in Sunday's Game 4 against the Lakers. Conley limped back to the locker room after an awkward landing in the third quarter, though he started the fourth. The veteran guard should be able to shoulder his normal workload the rest of the way.

  • Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Leaves for locker room Sunday

Conley exited to the locker room after sustaining an apparent left leg injury during the third quarter of Sunday's Game 4 against the Lakers, Charlie Walton of ZoneCoverage.com reports. Conley blocked a shot by LeBron James, but the veteran guard landed awkwardly on his left leg and remained on the floor for an extended period before limping to the locker room. Donte DiVincenzo will likely receive a bump in minutes if Conley is unable to return.

  • Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Held scoreless in loss

Conley racked up zero points (0-5 FG, 0-3 3Pt), six rebounds and one assist in 21 minutes during Tuesday's 94-85 loss to the Lakers in Game 2 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. After seeing 22 minutes in Game 1 with nine points, three assists, three rebounds and three steals, Conley was ineffective in Game 2 and saw a slightly reduced workload. Nickeil Alexander-Walker played 29 minutes as a result, but didn't have much success either with four points.

  • Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Hands out nine assists

Conley contributed eight points (2-7 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, nine assists, one block and one steal in 27 minutes during Thursday's 141-125 win over Memphis. Conley finished just two points and one assist away from recording a double-double, and he finished just two dimes away from tying his season-high mark in that category. The veteran floor general has some value as a streaming option due to his ability as a passer and three-point shooter, but his upside in most formats remains relatively low, especially considering the high usage rates of Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle.

  • Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Muted performance in win

Conley supplied six points (2-10 FG, 2-7 3Pt), one rebound and six assists in 24 minutes during Thursday's 105-90 win over the Nets. Conley's fantasy output has been quite limited recently. Over his last six games, he's averaging 25.4 minutes per night and is sitting outside the top-150 in nine-category formats with 8.7 points, 5.2 assists, 2.0 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.8 three-pointers in 25.4 minutes.

  • Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Back in starting lineup Monday

Conley will start in Monday's game against the Pacers, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports. Joe Ingles got the spot start during Friday's win over the Pelicans so that his family, who was visiting Minnesota at the time, could watch him play. However, Conley will return to the starting five after playing only 10 minutes Friday. Over his last 10 outings (nine starts), the veteran point guard has averaged 8.8 points, 4.1 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 1.1 steals across 23.1 minutes per contest.

  • Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Coming off bench Friday

Conley won't start in Friday's game against New Orleans. Joe Ingles will supplant Conley in the starting five on Friday. Over his last five outings, the veteran point guard has averaged 11.0 points, 4.0 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 1.0 steals across 25.4 minutes per game.

  • Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Available to play

Conley (rest) is available for Monday's game against the Pacers. Conley sat out Sunday's game against Utah during the first half of the club's back-to-back set, but he's no longer listed on the injury report. The veteran guard is averaging 11.4 points, 4.2 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 2.6 three-pointers over his last five appearances.

  • Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Won't play Sunday

Conley (rest) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Utah. The veteran point guard will get the night off during the first half of the club's back-to-back set. His next chance to play will come Monday against the Pacers. Donte DiVincenzo, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Rob Dillingham are all candidates for an uptick in playing time due to Conley being sidelined.

  • Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Modest production Friday

Conley chipped in nine points (3-6 FG, 3-5 3Pt), one rebound and three assists over 24 minutes during Friday's 118-111 win over Orlando. Conley served up another lukewarm performance, scoring fewer than 15 points for the 10th time in the past 11 games. Despite continuing to start, both his role and production have diminished this season. Through 58 games, he is averaging a modest 8.3 points, 4.5 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.8 three-pointers in 24.7 minutes per contest.

  • Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Available against Miami

Conley has been cleared to play in Friday's game against the Heat. After missing Wednesday's win against the Hornets, Conley is no longer on the injury report, paving the way for him to return to the floor Friday. The veteran guard is having a rough season in Minnesota, averaging a career-low 8.1 points per game in 24.9 minutes per contest, which is also a career low.

  • Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Will be rested Wednesday

Conley will be held out for rest Wednesday against the Hornets. Wednesday's game is the second leg of a back-to-back set, so the Timberwolves will give the veteran guard the night off. With Conley out, Donte DiVincenzo is likely to run a lot of the offense, and Rob Dillingham could be more involved for Minnesota.

  • Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Perfect showing from line in loss

Conley (finger) tallied five points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-5 FT), five assists, two rebounds and one steal across 24 minutes in Friday's 121-115 loss to the Rockets. Conley was cleared to play in Minnesota's first game coming out of the All-Star break after he had missed the previous four contests due to a right index finger sprain. The veteran point guard came through with a perfect showing from the free-throw line and committed just one turnover against five assists, but his stat line was otherwise underwhelming. Conley remains secure in a starting role, but he frequently plays under 30 minutes and is maintaining a 14.9 percent usage rate on the season, rendering him little more than a low-end option in 12-team leagues.

  • Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Cleared to play Friday

Conley (finger) has been cleared to play in Friday's game against the Rockets, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports. After missing the last four games for the Timberwolves with a finger injury, Conley will get back on the floor Friday in Houston. The veteran guard is having a bit of a down season in Minnesota, averaging a career-low 8.2 points per game while playing a career-low 25.1 minutes per contest.

  • Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Questionable against Rockets

Conley (finger) is questionable for Friday's game against the Rockets. A right index finger sprain has cost Conley four consecutive games, and the veteran guard continues to nurse the injury. If Conley remains sidelined against Houston, Nickeil Alexander-Walker should continue to function as Minnesota's starting point guard while Rob Dillingham takes on more playing time from the bench.

  • Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Remains out Thursday

Conley (finger) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Thunder, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports. The veteran point guard will miss his fourth consecutive contest due to a right index finger sprain. His next chance to play will come Feb. 21 against the Rockets. Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Rob Dillingham are candidates for an uptick in playing time with Conley sidelined.

  • Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Iffy against Thunder

Conley (finger) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game versus the Thunder. Conley is in danger of missing his fourth straight contest due to a sprained right index finger. Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Rob Dillingham should continue to receive increased playing time if Conley is ruled out yet again.
