Durant has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Kings due to an ankle sprain, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports. Durant appeared in each of the Suns' last four games and didn't appear to have significant limitations, as he averaged 29.5 points, 6.5 assists and 4.3 rebounds in 36.0 minutes per game. He'll be unavailable for at least one matchup, which could lead to increased run for Keita Bates-Diop and Nassir Little.... See More ... See Less

Suns' Kevin Durant: Reaches 30 points in balanced game
Durant ended with 31 points (12-17 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and one block over 39 minutes during Tuesday's 106-103 loss to the Lakers. Durant did it all for Phoenix in a losing effort, leading the squad in scoring while connecting on a team-high-tying mark from three en route to posting his eighth game with 30 or more points over his last 10 contests. Durant, who scored 22 of his 31 points in the second half, has recorded at least 30 points, seven rebounds and four assists in three games this season.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' Kevin Durant: Efficient shooting effort Saturday
Durant contributed 27 points (10-14 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 5-7 FT), two rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal in 33 minutes during Saturday's 116-109 victory over the Grizzlies. Durant was coming off a struggling shooting display against the Nuggets on Friday, but he bounced back less than 24 hours after that loss and delivered an excellent display in an easy win for the Suns. Durant is one of the most consistent scorers in the league, and an off night will not affect his fantasy upside, as he remains one of the best offensive weapons in the league. The numbers back that up, as Durant is averaging 32.4 points per game over his last 10 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' Kevin Durant: Comes up short in second half
Durant closed with 30 points (8-25 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 13-13 FT), four rebounds, 11 assists, three blocks and one steal across 36 minutes during Friday's 119-111 loss to the Nuggets. On paper, Durant had another strong showing with his 11th 30-point performance of the campaign. However, the star forward -- and one of the greatest scorers the NBA has ever seen -- didn't make a single field goal in the second half and failed to convert several good looks in the fourth quarter when the Suns were pushing for a comeback. Durant is not expected to be fazed by one rough stretch, however, and fantasy managers should trust him to bounce back moving forward.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' Kevin Durant: Drops 30 in return
Durant supplied 30 points (11-30 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 6-6 FT), four rebounds, six assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Wednesday's 112-105 loss to the Raptors. The 35-year-old superstar had missed the prior two games with a foot injury, and Durant tried to make up for lost time by attempting a season-high 30 shots. While he was far from efficient with that volume, he did extend his streak of games with at least 30 points to six and his streak of games with multiple three-pointers to nine. Durant is mostly thriving to begin his first full season with the Suns, and his 31.3 points per game would be his highest average since he led the NBA with 32.0 PPG in 2013-14 for the Thunder.... Suns' Kevin Durant: Good to go Wednesday
Durant (foot) is available for Wednesday's game versus the Raptors, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports. Durant has been upgraded from probable to available Wednesday after missing the previous two games with a right foot contusion. The superstar forward shouldn't have any limitations. However, Grayson Allen (illness) remains out, so Keita Bates-Diop or Josh Okogie will stick in the starting lineup next to Durant, Devin Booker, Eric Gordon and Jusuf Nurkic.... See More ... Suns' Kevin Durant: Officially questionable
Durant (foot) is questionable to play Wednesday against Toronto. Durant is dealing with a right foot contusion, which has caused him to miss Phoenix's past two games. Meanwhile, Keita Bates-Diop has logged two starts in Durant's place, averaging 7.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.5 steals in 26.0 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' Kevin Durant: Practices Tuesday
Durant (foot) practiced Tuesday, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports. Durant missed his first game of the season Sunday due to right foot soreness, but his return to practice is a good sign. Coach Frank Vogel said the team will wait to see how the superstar forward responds to Tuesday's practice before determining his availability for Wednesday's matchup versus Toronto, meaning Durant will likely be a game-time decision.... Suns' Kevin Durant: Won't play Sunday
Durant (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Knicks. Durant missed his first game of the season Friday against the Grizzlies due to a sore right foot and was considered a game-time decision for Sunday's matchup. Although he'll be unavailable for a second consecutive game, he'll have a few days to rest before the Suns face Toronto on Wednesday. Josh Okogie and Keita Bates-Diop are candidates for increased run in Durant's absence.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' Kevin Durant: Availability still undetermined
Durant (foot) will be a game-time decision Sunday against New York, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports. Durant is dealing with right foot soreness, which caused him to miss his first game of the season Friday against Memphis. Durant will test his foot in pregame warmups prior to his status being determined. Grayson Allen (illness) joins Bradley Beal (back) as inactive Sunday, so Josh Okogie and Keita Bates-Diop could be busy if Durant is unable to suit up.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' Kevin Durant: Questionable against Knicks
Durant (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Knicks. Durant missed his first game of the season Friday against Memphis, but the questionable tag suggests that he is day-to-day. Devin Booker put on a show in Durant's absence Friday, while Eric Gordon saw a considerable bump in usage. Keita Bates-Diop started in Durant's absence, scoring six points with four rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 24 minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' Kevin Durant: Downgraded to out
Durant (foot) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Grizzlies. Durant was a late addition to the injury report and will ultimately miss his first game of the season due to right foot soreness. The MVP candidate's next chance to suit up will come Sunday in New York. In Durant's absence, Devin Booker, Grayson Allen and Eric Gordon should handle increased playmaking duties, while Keita Bates-Diop and Nassir Little could see more minutes in the frontcourt.... Suns' Kevin Durant: Listed as questionable Friday
Durant is questionable for Friday's matchup against the Grizzlies due to right foot soreness. Durant wasn't on previous injury reports leading up to Friday morning, so his status is a surprise. Between absences to teammates Devin Booker and Bradley Beal (back) throughout the start of the season, Durant has been putting up MVP-caliber numbers of 31.4 points on 53/52/89 shooting, 7.1 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.2 blocks in 36.9 minutes. However, a matchup against the 3-11 Grizzlies does present itself as an opportunity for the 35-year-old to rest. If Durant is sidelined, more usage should go to Devin Booker, Grayson Allen, Eric Gordon and other playmakers, while forwards such as Keita Bates-Diop and Nassir Little could see more minutes.... Suns' Kevin Durant: Paces team with 31 points
Durant accumulated 31 points (13-21 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, nine assists and one block across 37 minutes during Tuesday's 120-107 victory over the Trail Blazers. Durant passed Elvin Hayes for 11th on the all-time scoring list in his 1,000th game. The All-Star was one assist shy of his fourth double-double of the season and has averaged 33.4 points, 7.6 assists, 7.2 rebounds and 1.2 blocked shots over his past five games.... See More ... Suns' Kevin Durant: Pours in 39 points
Durant had 39 points (14-27 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 7-7 FT), eight rebounds, 10 assists, two blocks and two steals over 46 minutes during Sunday's 140-137 double-overtime victory over the Jazz. This was Durant's third game of the campaign with at least 39 points, as he continues to put the shorthanded Suns on his back. He's been on a tear over the last five games, averaging 34.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 1.0 blocks and 3.8 three-pointers.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' Kevin Durant: Flirts with triple-double
Durant posted 38 points (15-22 FG, 6-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds and nine assists over 33 minutes during Friday's 131-128 win over the Jazz. Durant hasn't posted a double-double since Oct. 26, but he came close to that mark Friday while also nearly posting a triple-double. Even if he's fallen just short of the double-double marker on several occasions, he's remained a solid contributor in multiple areas. Durant has topped 30 points in five of his last seven appearances and has averaged 33.1 points, 7.4 rebounds and 5.9 assists in 36.6 minutes per game during that time.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' Kevin Durant: Efficient in win Wednesday
Durant amassed 31 points (11-15 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 7-7 FT), six rebounds, six assists and one block over 35 minutes during Wednesday's 133-115 win over the Timberwolves. Durant missed just four shots from the field Wednesday, and he benefited from the return of Devin Booker, which shifted the defense's focus to other players. Durant has been excellent for the Suns so far, playing in every game and reaching the 30-point mark in four of his last six appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' Kevin Durant: Fills up every category Sunday
Durant tallied 28 points (7-18 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 11-11 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal across 36 minutes in Sunday's 111-99 loss to the Thunder. Durant's shooting accuracy from the field was a little beneath his usual standard, but he made up for it by the perfect showing from the free-throw line on heavy volume while also converting at a strong clip from three-point land. The Suns have limped to a 4-6 start to the season, but the team has yet to play a game with all of Durant, Bradley Beal and Devin Booker (calf). Booker was listed as doubtful ahead of Sunday and could be ready to return from a five-game absence Wednesday against the Timberwolves, at which point the Suns could be ready to start their charge up the Western Conference standings in earnest. Booker's imminent return may translate into a small downturn in Durant's scoring and playmaking opportunities, however; Durant is averaging 30.0 points and 4.6 assists through Phoenix's first 10 games.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' Kevin Durant: Stuffs stat sheet Wednesday
Durant supplied 25 points (7-16 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 9-9 FT), six rebounds, nine assists, one block and two steals over 42 minutes during Wednesday's 116-115 overtime win over the Bulls. Grayson Allen led the Suns in scoring and Jusuf Nurkic had one of his best games of the season, so Durant took a step back from being an offensive juggernaut and focused on the playmaking department, as evidenced by his season-high nine assists. Durant still extended his streak of 25 or more points to seven contests and should remain an elite fantasy alternative regardless of the format and even when he's not deployed as the Suns' main scoring option.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' Kevin Durant: Comes up huge with 41 points
Durant chipped in 41 points (14-27 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 12-12 FT), four rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one steal in 35 minutes during Sunday's 120-106 victory over the Pistons. The Suns needed Durant to step his game up following the injuries of Devin Booker (calf) and Bradley Beal (back), with the latter yet to make his season debut, and as is often the case with him, Durant responded when needed. The 41 points represented a season-high mark for Durant, who has enjoyed a very high usage rate as the Suns' primary scorer and ball handler, and while that will change once one of Booker or Beal -- or both -- returns, his role as a scoring machine won't. He has scored at least 26 points in six games in a row while topping the 30-point plateau in the last two.... See More ... See Less
