Beverley ended Monday's 138-94 victory over the Lakers with 12 points (4-9 FG, 4-8 3Pt), six rebounds and three assists across 24 minutes. Beverley finally found his rhythm Monday night. He scored in double figures for the first time this season, and his three-point shot started falling. Prior to Monday, Beverley had a total of three triples for the entire campaign.... See More ... 76ers' Patrick Beverley: Removed from injury report
Beverley (neck) is available for Sunday's game against Indiana. Beverley won't end up missing any action after suffering a neck injury in Friday's win over Detroit. Kelly Oubre (ribs) appears headed for a multi-week absence Sunday, so Beverley and a committee of forwards could end up seeing upticks in playing time as the 76ers look to fill Oubre's minutes.... 76ers' Patrick Beverley: Participates in scrimmage
Beverley (neck) participated in a scrimmage during Saturday's practice session, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Beverley exited Friday's game against the Pistons due to neck pain, but his participation in the 76ers' scrimmage a day later is encouraging. However, it's not yet clear whether he'll be available Sunday against Indiana.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Patrick Beverley: Will not return
Beverley will not return to Friday's game in Detroit due to neck pain, Ky Carlin of USA Today reports. The severity of Beverley's injury is unknown at this time, but he will be unable to return. In his absence, Jaden Springer is a prime candidate to see some extra minutes providing depth in the backcourt.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Patrick Beverley: Makes impact defensively
Beverley ended Sunday's 126-98 win over the Trail Blazers with four points (2-3 FG), two rebounds, two assists, three blocks and one steal over 20 minutes. Beverley played a season-high 20 minutes during the blowout win and recorded his first defensive statistics of the campaign. Despite modest production, the veteran point guard figures to be a key part of Philadelphia's rotation, especially with James Harden (personal/conditioning) unavailable.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Patrick Beverley: Starts in preseason opener
Beverley posted 12 points (5-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt), one rebound and one assist in 14 minutes during Sunday's 114-106 preseason loss to the Celtics. With James Harden (personal) unavailable, Beverley drew the start alongside Tyrese Maxey in Philadelphia's backcourt and delivered quality production in limited action. However, if Harden remains with the 76ers to open the 2023-24 regular season, Beverley will presumably be relegated to a backup role.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Patrick Beverley: Headed to Philadelphia
The 76ers signed Beverley on Saturday to a one-year contract, PatBevPod reports. While the terms of the agreement have yet to be announced, Beverley could find himself in the starting point guard role if James Harden is ultimately traded. The veteran point guard is a good perimeter defender and averaged 6.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 27.1 minutes across 67 games (all starts) for the Lakers and Bulls in 2022-23.... Bulls' Patrick Beverley: Fails to produce in loss Friday
Beverley had zero points (0-4 FG, 0-3 3Pt), two rebounds and four assists over 27 minutes during Friday's 102-91 Play-In Game loss to the Heat. Beverley couldn't lift his team to victory Friday, failing to score in 27 minutes. The veteran guard was unable to provide his usual spark, allowing the Heat to roll over the top of the Bulls down the stretch. Looking ahead, Beverley is no spring chicken, meaning his days of being a fantasy-relevant player may be coming to an end, no matter his role next season.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Beverley: Could be available Sunday
Beverley (rest) is not listed in the injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Pistons. Beverley missed Friday's game against the Mavericks due to rest, but he is not listed in the injury report ahead of Sunday's game, so he should be available. A minutes restriction can't be ruled out, considering the Bulls will face the Raptors in the Play-In Tournament on Wednesday.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Beverley: Won't play Friday
Beverley is out for Friday's game versus the Mavericks due to rest, Chuck Swirsky of the Bulls Radio Network reports. Beverley will sit out Friday's game with the Bulls locked into 10th place in the Eastern Conference. Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu will likely receive extended minutes in his absence. Beverley's next chance to suit up is Sunday's matchup with Detroit.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Beverley: Makes mark on defensive end
Beverley tallied eight points (3-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt), seven assists, five rebounds, four steals and one block in 28 minutes in Wednesday's 105-92 loss to the Bucks. Beverley paid off handsomely for those that streamed him for defensive stats, and he even came through with his second-best assist total since he joined the Bulls in mid-February. Since the Bulls are locked in as the Eastern Conference's No. 10 seed, head coach Billy Donovan told K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago after Wednesday's game that all of Zach LaVine, Nikola Vucevic and DeMar DeRozan could be candidates to rest Friday in Dallas. Donovan omitted Beverley from that group, so it's possible the veteran guard could be thrust into a more expanded role Friday if he plays. On the other hand, it's possible that Beverley could be active but play more limited minutes than usual, so he'll still carry an element of risk as a streaming option.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Beverley: Poor outing against Lakers
Beverley produced zero points (0-5 FG, 0-5 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 25 minutes during Wednesday's 121-110 loss to the Lakers. If Austin Reaves doing the "too small" celebration wasn't bad enough, Beverley also failed to score for the second time in his last five outings. He is averaging 4.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.0 steals on a 28.6 field-goal percentage over that stretch. Beverley's only true fantasy value is if your team desperately needs steals.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Beverley: Minimal impact in loss
Beverley chipped in zero points (0-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt), five rebounds and two assists over 19 minutes during Wednesday's 116-91 loss to the 76ers. Beverley failed to score for the first time since Feb. 26 and played the fewest minutes of any Chicago starter Wednesday. He is averaging 6.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists across his last 10 appearances. Beverley is also shooting just 40.4 percent from the field over that span.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Beverley: Grabs 11 boards in loss
Beverley totaled three points (1-7 FG, 1-6 3Pt), 11 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal in 29 minutes during Wednesday's 117-114 loss to the Kings. Beverley's shooting tailed off considerably after he put up 16 points on 6-for-7 shooting from the field in the Bulls' previous game Saturday against the Rockets, but he managed to pull down double-digit boards for the second straight contest. He paired the rebound production with solid numbers in the defensive categories, which helped make up for the poor shooting and lackluster assist total. Beverley is averaging 5.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.0 three-pointers, 0.9 blocks and 0.6 steals in 28.7 minutes per game through his first nine outings with the Bulls. While his overall production isn't outstanding, it's enough to make him a roster-worthy player in 14-team leagues depending on a manager's needs.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Beverley: Strong performance in win
Beverley accumulated 16 points (6-7 FG, 4-5 3Pt), 10 rebounds, five assists and one block over 34 minutes during Saturday's 119-111 win over Houston. Beverley missed just one shot en route to his highest scoring outing since joining the Bulls. He also tied his season high with 10 boards, a mark he's reached three times now, and notched his second double-double of the campaign -- both with Chicago. Across eight appearances with the Bulls, the veteran point guard is averaging 5.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 0.8 blocks in 28.6 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Beverley: Unproductive in loss Friday
Beverley ended Friday's 125-104 loss to Phoenix with two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and one block in 29 minutes. Beverley couldn't deliver another strong performance Friday, barely forcing the statistician to break a sweat. While his real-life impact continues to be visible on most nights, his days of being a consistent fantasy producer are well behind him. He can be streamed in on low-volume nights for anyone needing steals and out-of-position rebounds and blocks, but as we saw tonight, even those categories can be sketchy.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Beverley: Flirts with triple-double in win
Beverley ended Wednesday's 117-115 win over Detroit with five points (2-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-4 FT), 10 rebounds, 10 assists, one block and four steals across 33 minutes. Beverley was the only player in Wednesday's game to post double-digit marks in rebounds and assists while finishing five points short of a triple-double. Beverley has posted at least five points, five rebounds and five assists in two games this season.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Beverley: Balanced game in near double-double
Beverley closed Tuesday's 104-98 loss to the Raptors with eight points (3-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and one block in 29 minutes. Beverley did a little bit of everything for Chicago, leading all starters in rebounds while finishing two points and three boards shy of a double-double. Beverley has posted at least five points and five rebounds on 10 occasions this season, including in two of his last three outings.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Beverley: Starts in debut
Beverley ended Friday's 131-87 victory over the Nets with eight points (2-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-5 FT), five rebounds and four assists over 22 minutes. Beverley immediately started for the Bulls in his debut and did what he said he'd do, bringing energy and defense to the floor. While it wasn't an amazing stat line, Beverley helped the Bulls win their first game since Feb. 6 and will be looking to get them into the playoffs. As long as he's starting, Beverley will be a solid contributor in assists, three-pointers and defensive stats.... See More ... See Less -
Bulls' Patrick Beverley: Starting in Chicago debut
Beverley will start at point guard in his Chicago debut Friday against the Nets. Beverley and Alex Caruso will join a starting lineup that also includes Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic. Meanwhile, Coby White, Ayo Dosunmu and Patrick Williams will shift to the bench. If Beverley's workload is substantial, he could emerge with some decent fantasy value and has the ability to produce assists, three-pointers and defensive stats at a league-average rate....
