Rockets' Steven Adams: Cleared for camp
Adams (knee) will be a full participant at Houston's training camp this week, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Adams missed the entire 2023-24 NBA season due to knee surgery, but he's heading into camp with a clean bill of health. In fact, Feigen reports that Adams was able to take part in scrimmages last week and impressed those in attendance. As it stands, it appears Adams will be ready to fill in as Houston's backup center behind Alperen Sengun.

Rockets' Steven Adams: On track for training camp
Rockets general manager Rafael Stone said Tuesday that Adams (knee) is on track to be available for training camp, Adam Spolane of Sports Radio 610 Houston.
Adams missed the 2023-24 campaign after receiving a season-ending knee surgery in November. The 30-year-old is likely to serve as a veteran presence off the bench behind Alperen Sengun (knee/ankle) next season.

Rockets' Steven Adams: Traded to Houston
Adams (knee) was traded from the Grizzlies to the Rockets in exchange for Victor Oladipo and three second-round picks Thursday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Adams underwent season-ending surgery on his right knee in November, and it appears that he'll be in a different uniform when he returns to the court during the 2024-25 season. The 30-year-old is a productive player when healthy and would be a solid veteran presence in Houston's frontcourt if he suits up for the team next season.
