  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Racks up triple-double in loss

Jokic racked up 22 points (9-32 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 15 rebounds, 10 assists and one steal across 37 minutes during Wednesday's 111-102 loss to the Clippers. Although Jokic was the clear leader in the paint, the MVP candidate found little assistance from his supporting cast in the loss. Jamal Murray's return has boosted the team's fortunes, but Jokic has had to do a lot of the heavy lifting with three triple-doubles over the past four games.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Massive triple-double in loss

Jokic logged 36 points (13-23 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 9-12 FT), 13 rebounds, 14 assists, one block and two steals across 38 minutes during Saturday's 123-117 loss to the Kings. Jokic's eighth-triple-double matches the combined total of the rest of the league in the category, a staggering stat that aptly illustrates Jokic's dominance. His brilliance wasn't enough to turn the tide against the Kings, who proved to be a stern test with De'Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis enjoying massive totals.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Impresses as playmaker

Jokic amassed 21 points (9-18 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-6 FT), five rebounds, 16 assists, two blocks and one steal in 35 minutes during Friday's 119-111 victory over the Suns. The star big man and MVP candidate is having another season for the ages. He has somehow improved as a playmaker and has handed out 10 or more dimes in three of his last five appearances, as he's taking on the role of being the team's primary facilitator with Jamal Murray (ankle) out. Jokic is averaging a robust triple-double over his last 10 games -- 28.1 points, 12.6 rebounds and 11.0 assists per contest.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Records another triple-double

Jokic finished with 32 points (12-19 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 7-8 FT), 10 rebounds, 15 assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 134-124 win over the Rockets. Jokic dished out 15 assists in the return of Jamal Murray to the starting unit. The star big man continues to dazzle every time he steps on the court, and the best way to translate his dominance is the fact that he's already racked up seven triple-doubles and 10 double-doubles in 18 appearances.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Suiting up Wednesday

Jokic (back) will play in Wednesday's game against the Rockets, Vinny Benedetto of The Denver Gazette reports. Jokic will return from a one-game absence due to back soreness for Wednesday's tilt. He'll likely supplant DeAndre Jordan in the first five. Over his last three outings, Jokic is averaging 35.7 points, 14.3 rebounds, 9.7 assists and 3.0 steals/blocks across 37.6 minutes.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Listed as questionable

Jokic (back) is questionable for Wednesday's matchup versus the Rockets. Jokic missed his first game of the season Monday due to lower back pain and is listed as questionable for a second straight matchup. Jamal Murray (hamstring) and Aaron Gordon (heel) are also questionable, so at the moment, it's unclear what the Nuggets' rotation will look like. If Jokic is sidelined again, DeAndre Jordan, Zeke Nnaji and Peyton Watson would be candidates for increased roles.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Ruled out

Jokic (back) has been ruled out for Monday's matchup against the Clippers. Jokic has been downgraded from questionable to out and will miss his first game of the season. The MVP candidate is coming off three straight games with at least 30 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists, so this may be a case of Denver simply being cautious during the second night of a back-to-back set. Jokic's next chance to suit up will come Wednesday versus Houston. Aaron Gordon (heel) is also out, so the Nuggets' frontcourt will be extremely shorthanded, forcing Zeke Nnaji, DeAndre Jordan and Peyton Watson into major roles.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Dealing with back issue

Jokic is questionable for Monday's game against the Clippers due to lower back pain. Jokic was listed as probable ahead of Sunday's game against the Spurs with the same injury, but he suited up and finished with 39 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists and one steal in 34 minutes in Denver's 132-120 loss. The fact that he's now being listed as questionable a day later could suggest either that Jokic is dealing with more soreness coming out of Sunday's contest, or that the Nuggets are considering holding him out as a precaution for the second half of a back-to-back set. If Jokic ends up sitting Monday, the Nuggets could turn to DeAndre Jordan and Zeke Nnaji to fill most of the minutes at center.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Comes close to triple-double

Jokic ended Sunday's 132-120 win over the Spurs with 39 points (17-29 FG, 5-5 FT), 11 rebounds, nine assists and one steal over 34 minutes. Jokic was dominant on both ends of the court and led the Nuggets to an easy win while ending one assist from a triple-double -- it was the fourth time this happened to the star big man in 2023-24. The number of triple-doubles aside, Jokic remains an elite fantasy contributor regardless of the opponent and the format, and managers should continue to expect big things from him every time he steps on the court but even more so while Jamal Murray (hamstring) remains out.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Available Sunday

Jokic (back) is available for Sunday's game against the Spurs, Vinny Benedetto of The Denver Gazette reports. Jokic was probable for Sunday's matchup, so it isn't very surprising that he'll be able to suit up despite his back pain. He's posted double-doubles in 15 of 16 appearances this year and is averaging 28.2 points, 13.5 points and 8.9 assists in 33.8 minutes per game.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Expected to play Sunday

Jokic is listed as probable for Sunday's game versus the Spurs due to low back pain. Jokic has yet to miss a game this season and isn't expected to do so Sunday despite dealing with back pain. In the last nine games with Jamal Murray (hamstring) out, Jokic is averaging 28.8 points, 14.1 rebounds, 9.7 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.9 rebounds in 33.8 minutes.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Triple-double not enough in Orlando

Jokic contributed 30 points (12-18 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 13 rebounds, 12 assists, two blocks and three steals over 36 minutes during Wednesday's 124-119 loss to the Magic. It's the sixth triple-double in 15 games this season for Jokic, but the Nuggets' lack of bench scoring ultimately did them in. The perennial MVP candidate has at least a double-double in every full game he's played in 2023-24 -- the only exception came Monday, when he was ejected after 15 minutes -- but Wednesday's performance was the first time he's recorded multiple blocks and steals in the same contest. With Jamal Murray (hamstring) potentially not back until next week, Jokic's usage should remain high in the short term, even by his elite standards.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Tossed from Monday's game

Jokic was ejected from Monday's game against the Pistons after being assessed two technical fouls, Katy Winge of Altitude Sports reports. He recorded nine points (4-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt), five rebounds, five assists and one block over 15 minutes prior to exiting. Jokic earned an early trip to the showers after arguing with the referees throughout the first half. Look for the Nuggets to lean on Zeke Nnaji, Peyton Watson and DeAndre Jordan in the second half with Jokic unavailable.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Held in check Sunday

Jokic ended with 18 points (8-13 FG, 2-5 FT), 10 rebounds, seven assists, one block and one steal across 28 minutes during Sunday's 121-109 loss to the Cavaliers. Jokic saw a decrease in playing time Sunday due to some foul trouble, and he was held under 20 points for the first time this season. However, he still managed to record double-digit rebounds and posted a 13th consecutive double-double to begin the year. Despite his relatively lackluster outing Sunday, fantasy managers shouldn't be too concerned with his outlook moving forward.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Monster triple-double

Jokic closed Friday's 115-110 loss to the Pelicans with 26 points (10-20 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 16 rebounds, 18 assists and one block across 36 minutes. There are not enough adjectives to describe what Jokic has been doing this season, but this was perhaps his best game of the campaign so far. The 18 assists tied a career-high mark, and in addition to notching his fifth triple-double of the season in just 12 contests, he was absolutely dominant on both ends of the court. Jokic is averaging 29.7 points, 14.1 rebounds and 9.2 assists per game so far, and he's putting up elite numbers that are worthy of another MVP candidacy.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Falls just shy of triple-double Tuesday

Jokic logged 32 points (8-23 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 14-14 FT), 16 rebounds, nine assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Tuesday's 111-108 victory over the Clippers. Even while star point guard Jamal Murray (hamstring) has missed the last four games, Jokic continues to carry the Nuggets to the victory column. The two-time MVP isn't getting much aid from his supporting cast, as the bench only managed 22 points during Tuesday's victory. Over the four games without Murray, Jokic has averaged 34.5 points, 16.0 rebounds, 9.3 assists, 1.8 three-pointers, 1.3 steals and 0.8 blocked shots.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Posts dominant triple-double

Jokic racked up 36 points (13-26 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 8-8 FT), 21 rebounds, 11 assists and one block across 38 minutes during Sunday's 107-104 loss to the Rockets. Jokic has been on a tear to begin the 2023-24 campaign, posting double-doubles in every appearance while also notching four triple-doubles. Two of those triple-doubles have come over the last three games, and he's also scored at least 35 points in three consecutive matchups. Sunday's performance also marked just the 14th time in Jokic's career that he's grabbed at least 20 rebounds in a game. The 28-year-old's dominance hasn't been particularly surprising, but he's been operating with a consistency that has rewarded fantasy managers who managed to get him at the top of their draft boards.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Huge double-double in win

Jokic tallied 35 points (14-25 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 6-10 FT), 13 rebounds, five assists, three steals and a blocked shot across 36 minutes in Wednesday's 108-105 win over the Warriors. Despite a massive line, Jokic's fatigue was noticeable after three hard-fought victories against quality clubs. He will get a few days of much-deserved rest before traveling to meet the Rockets, who are red-hot and will make for an interesting matchup for the reigning champs.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Good to go Wednesday

Jokic (wrist) will play Wednesday against Golden State. Jokic was initially tabbed probable for the contest, so his availability comes as no surprise. He played through the injury Monday against New Orleans and logged a triple-double across 36 minutes, so fantasy managers shouldn't have any concerns about Jokic's workload.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Lands on injury report again

Jokic (wrist) is probable for Wednesday's game against the Warriors. This isn't a new injury for Jokic, who was also listed as probable ahead of Monday's game against New Orleans. While the Nuggets got off to a slow start in that contest, Jokic finished with 35 points (15-24 FG), 14 rebounds, 12 assists, one block and one steal in 36 minutes during the comeback win. The wrist issue didn't slow Jokic down Monday and, barring a setback, shouldn't deter him from playing in future games.
