  • Bulls' Zach LaVine: Receives PRP injection

LaVine received a PRP injection in his right foot Thursday and won't travel with the Bulls for their upcoming road trip, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports. LaVine was attempting to return to action for Wednesday's game against the Hornets, but he wasn't able to ramp up due to inflammation in the right side of his right foot that was worsening. After being re-evaluated, the 28-year-old is expected to miss another 3-to-4 weeks while he recovers. LaVine insisted Thursday that his upcoming absence has nothing to do with his recent interest in seeking a trade, and the hope is that his PRP injection will help the inflammation subside.

  • Bulls' Zach LaVine: Set to miss 3-to-4 more weeks

The Bulls announced Wednesday that LaVine (foot) is expected to remain out for another 3-to-4 weeks. LaVine has missed three straight games with right foot inflammation, and though the Bulls had optimism that he would be ready to play after being re-evaluated a week later, the injury ultimately looks as though it'll keep him out for the remainder of the 2023 portion of the Bulls' schedule. In LaVine's absence, Alex Caruso will likely remain in the starting five, while reserve guards Ayo Dosunmu and Jevon Carter could be in store for more minutes off the bench. Nikola Vucevic, DeMar DeRozan and Coby White should take on most of the usage while LaVine is on the mend.

LaVine was unable to play Wednesday and came into Friday's game with a questionable tag due to a foot injury, but he powered through for one of his best performances of the season. Unfortunately for the Bulls, they dropped their fifth game out of their last six. • Bulls' Zach LaVine: Shines defensively

LaVine amassed 13 points (5-10 FG, 3-7 3Pt), eight rebounds, six assists, one block and three steals in 35 minutes during Saturday's 102-97 win over the Heat. LaVine attempted a season-low 10 shots and scored his fewest points since Oct. 27. However, he salvaged his production by dishing out at least five assists for just the fourth time this year and recording a season-high three steals. He also added a block, marking his second game with at least a block and steal. • Bulls' Zach LaVine: Booms for 34 points Friday

LaVine finished with 34 points (12-20 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 6-7 FT), six rebounds, three assists and two steals across 41 minutes during Friday's 103-97 loss to the Magic. LaVine has been heavily linked to a trade away from the Bulls, but regardless of what happens with his future, the talented guard remains a reliable scoring threat who should be serviceable in all fantasy formats. LaVine has scored at least 20 points in four of his last six outings and is averaging 21.8 points per game in November.

  • Bulls' Zach LaVine: Leads all scorers in loss

LaVine totaled 19 points (6-16 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal over 36 minutes during Wednesday's 96-94 loss to the Magic. LaVine led all scorers with 19 points, a strong indication that this game was far from spectacular. The subject of recent trade rumors, LaVine has been inconsistent this season, barely inside the top 100 in standard fantasy formats. The Bulls are currently weighing a few things, not the least of which is their direction moving forward. At this point, managers simply need to hold LaVine and see where things go, be it in Chicago or elsewhere around the league.
