Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Explodes for massive double-double
Rotowire
Sabonis notched 32 points (11-15 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 9-9 FT), 20 rebounds, three assists and two steals in 34 minutes during Thursday's 111-109 victory over the Pelicans.
De'Aaron Fox and DeMar DeRozan had excellent performances Thursday, but there's no question Sabonis carried the Kings to what ended up being a closer-than-expected win. The star big man recorded his fifth double-double in six outings in December. He's averaging 23.7 points, 13.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game since the beginning of the month. This was also the first 30-point, 20-rebound performance from any player in the current NBA season.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Leads late rally in victory
Rotowire
Sabonis notched 27 points (13-19 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-4 FT), seven rebounds and four assists in 32 minutes during Tuesday's 120-111 victory over the Rockets.
It took a team effort, but the Kings rattled off 15 straight shots in the final stanza, eliminating an eight-point deficit and sealing a win. Sabonis was responsible for four of those shots, joining De'Aaron Fox, DeMar DeRozan and Keegan Murray in erasing Houston's lead. Although Tuesday's performance snapped an 18-game double-double streak, he notched his third-highest scoring total of the season in the win.
Sabonis finished with 25 points (8-16 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-10 FT), 13 rebounds and six assists in 37 minutes during Sunday's 127-125 loss to San Antonio.
Sabonis couldn't repeat the triple-double he notched in the loss to the Trail Blazers on Friday, but he kept his double-double streak alive. He's recorded either a triple-double or a double-double in every game except the season opener, when he finished with 24 points and eight rebounds in a loss to the Timberwolves on Oct. 24. Sabonis' consistency and high-end play has been one of the few bright spots in what has been an up-and-down season for the Kings so far.

Sabonis closed with 21 points (8-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 14 rebounds, 11 assists, one block and one steal across 41 minutes during Friday's 115-106 loss to Portland.
It was the fourth triple-double of the season for Sabonis, with the last coming Nov. 6 against the Raptors. Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Another double-double Wednesday
Rotowire
Sabonis finished Wednesday's 115-104 victory over Minnesota with 27 points (10-17 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 12 rebounds, five assists and one steal over 34 minutes.
Sabonis had little issue contending with Rudy Gobert's defense in Wednesday's win over Minnesota, netting his 16th double-double of the season. The 28-year-old three-time All-Star has been one of the top big men in fantasy so far this year, averaging 20.4 points, 12.8 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 1.0 three-pointers per game while shooting a career-high 62.0 percent from the field, 40.5 percent from deep and 84.6 percent from the free-throw line in 17 contests. Sabonis may be hurting fantasy managers a bit with his 3.6 turnovers per game, but he should continue to handle added usage for the Kings in the absence of star swingman DeMar DeRozan (back).

Rotowire
Sabonis racked up 21 points (7-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-8 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists, one block and three steals in 35 minutes during Monday's 130-109 loss to the Thunder.
Sabonis has remained consistent despite the Kings' ongoing four-game losing streak, posting a double-double in the three games he's been available for during that negative run. Sabonis has posted a double-double in every one of his appearances except the season opener. The star big man is averaging 18.6 points, 13.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game since the start of November.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Sniffs triple-double in loss
Rotowire
Sabonis racked up 13 points (6-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt), 18 rebounds, seven assists and one steal over 35 minutes during Sunday's 108-103 loss to the Nets.
The Kings endured a slow start Sunday. Despite the team's overall struggles, Sabonis was productive and finished just three assists away from a triple-double. The star big man has recorded either a double-double or triple-double in each of his outings except for the season opener. Sabonis' consistency levels are truly remarkable. He's averaging 18.4 points, 13.8 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.1 steals-plus-blocks in 11 outings since the beginning of November.
Sabonis closed Friday's 104-88 loss to the Clippers with 24 points (9-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 15 rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 40 minutes.
After missing the prior two games due to back tightness, Sabonis appeared to be fully healthy in his return and reeled off his 13th straight game with a double-double or better. The 28-year-old center has seen his distribution numbers fall off a bit with DeMar DeRozan in the lineup, but he's averaging career highs in points (20.4), threes (1.0) and field-goal percentage (63.0 percent) to begin the season while supplying 12.7 boards and 6.4 assists per contest.

Sabonis will return to game action after a two-game absence due to lower back tightness. Rotowire
Sabonis ended with 23 points (10-15 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists and three blocks over 40 minutes during Friday's 130-126 overtime loss to the Timberwolves.
Per Sean Cunningham of Fox 40 Sacramento, Sabonis was dealing with cramps in his back during the game, but that didn't stop him from producing his 12th straight double-double. The 28-year-old center continues to add to his skill set, and in addition to averaging 20.2 points, 12.5 boards and 6.6 assists per game, Sabonis is contributing 0.9 three-pointers per conetst while shooting 40 percent (12-for-30) from beyond the arc -- marks which would both be career highs if he can maintain them. Sabonis accumulated 23 points (9-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 12 rebounds, six assists and one steal in 38 minutes during Friday's 107-98 loss to the Clippers.
Another game, another double-double or better for Sabonis, who has reeled off eight straight after falling two boards short in the Kings' season opener. The 28-year-old big has seen his usage rate drop a little with DeMar DeRozan in the mix for Sacramento, but Sabonis has compensated with even better efficiency, and he's on pace to post career bests with a 64.4 percent FG% and 84.3 percent FT%.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Balls out with triple-double
Rotowire
Sabonis posted 17 points (6-6 FG, 5-5 FT), 11 rebounds, 13 assists and one steal in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 122-107 victory over Toronto.
Sabonis led the league in triple-doubles last season, out-dueling Nikola Jokic for that honor. Jokic has a head start in the category, so the total was timely for the premier big man. He now has three triple-doubles to his credit and has dipped below double-digit rebounds only once over the first eight games of the season.
Sabonis produced 16 points (6-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 16 rebounds and seven assists over 38 minutes during Monday's 111-110 win over the Heat.
Sabonis hit the game-winning bucket off an offensive rebound, a perfect encapsulation of the effort he brings on every possession. He led the NBA in double-doubles during the 2023-24 season, and it wouldn't be surprising if he reaches that feat again in 2024-25 given how he's started the season. Even though he's getting fewer touches on offense following the offseason addition of DeMar DeRozan, Sabonis continues to find ways to make an impact. He has six double-doubles in seven contests, averaging a robust 20.7 points and 13.4 rebounds per game.
