Graham was under contract with the Pistons for less than 24 hours, as he was waived shortly after his signature, and this move means he'll likely spend the 2023-24 season playing for Detroit's G League affiliate, the Motor City Cruise.

Graham hadn't appeared in a contest since Feb. 11 prior to Thursday's action, but he evidently did enough to earn himself a solid chunk of playing time. He managed to contribute across the board in the victory, tallying his first block and steal since Feb. 7.

Graham shot an impressive 69.2 percent from the field and set a new top mark for the regular season with 20 points. He's put up double figures only two times through nine matchups and has struggled to see consistent minutes over this stretch (10.6 minutes per game).

Graham failed to do much in terms of scoring, as he struggled to find his shooting touch from downtown, but he made up for it by securing six defensive rebounds and two on the offensive end. After scoring 12 points in the season opener Nov. 4 against College Park, he's been held to just two points in his last two matchups.

Graham outscored all of his teammates off the bench, and he also outscored all but one of the Long Island starters. He wasn't overly impressive for the Long Island Nets during the 2021-22 campaign, averaging 4.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 steals in 18 contests.

Hawks' Treveon Graham: To play Saturday
Graham (not injury related) will be available for Saturday's game against Detroit, Mike Conti of the Atlanta Hawks Radio Network reports.
Graham was dealt from the Timberwolves to the Hawks on Thursday, so while he'll be withheld from Friday's matchup, he'll be ready to make his Atlanta debut along with Jeff Teague. He figures to take on a sizeable role with his new squad.
