Holiday provided 13 points (4-5 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four rebounds, one assist and four steals over 28 minutes during Monday's 121-116 loss to the Warriors. Holiday had the hot hand off the bench for Houston, matching his season-best mark of 13 points. Monday's workload was also his largest of the season, breaking a streak of four straight games with minutes in the teens. He's worth keeping an eye on in case his role grows as a result of this strong performance.... See More ... See Less

Rockets' Aaron Holiday: Plays 11 minutes in win
Holiday ended Wednesday's 128-119 win over the Hornets with six points (2-2 FG, 2-2 3Pt), one rebound and one assist across 11 minutes. Holiday didn't see any playing time off the bench during Houston's last two games but played double-digit minutes for the first time this season Wednesday. Despite his slight uptick in playing time against Charlotte, he hasn't been a fantasy-relevant option to begin his time with the Rockets.... See More ... See Less -
Rockets' Aaron Holiday: Inks deal with Houston
The Rockets signed Holiday to a one-year, minimum contract Thursday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Holiday will join his fifth team in the last four seasons. In 2022-23, the 26-year-old guard averaged 3.9 points, 1.4 assists and 1.2 rebounds in 13.4 minutes across 63 games. Holiday will likely be a depth piece in Houston's backcourt.... See More ... Hawks' Aaron Holiday: Returns to bench role
Holiday isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Heat. Trae Young will replace Holiday in the starting five Tuesday after resting in the regular-season finale. Holiday may not receive significant playing time against Miami, as he has played fewer than five minutes in four of his last five appearances coming off the bench.... See More ... See Less -
Hawks' Aaron Holiday: Starting Sunday
Holiday will start Sunday's regular-season finale versus the Celtics, Lauren L. Williams of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Holiday gets a look at point guard with both Trae Young and Dejounte Murray resting for the contest, giving him some additional fantasy value Sunday. His role should retreat to normal Tuesday in the Play-In Tournament.... See More ... See Less -
Hawks' Aaron Holiday: Offers steals impact off bench
Holiday compiled eight points (2-3 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four assists, three steals, one rebound and one block in 21 minutes in Wednesday's 134-116 win over the Wizards. With Bogdan Bogdanovic (rest) joining De'Andre Hunter (knee) on the sideline for Wednesday's contest, Holiday was able to claim a heightened role in the rotation after being limited to just two minutes in Tuesday's 123-105 win over Chicago. The 41-39 Hawks currently sit in eighth place in the Eastern Conference and are unlikely to supplant the 42-37 Heat for the top position in the Play-In Tournament, so head coach Quin Snyder could elect to dole out rest to players such as Trae Young, Dejounte Murray, Bogdanovic and Hunter over the final two games of the regular season. If that's the case, Holiday may be able to maintain a 20-plus-minute role, but he typically hasn't been a reliable producer even on the rare occasions he's received extended playing time this season.... Hawks' Aaron Holiday: Dishes seven dimes in loss
Holiday closed Wednesday's 125-124 loss to the Timberwolves with four points (2-5 FG), seven assists, four steals and two rebounds in 16 minutes. Holiday's seven assists and four steals were both season-high totals. However, the 26-year-old guard is averaging only 6.6 minutes across his last 10 appearances, and he'll likely fall out of the rotation as soon as Dejounte Murray (illness) is ready to play again.... Hawks' Aaron Holiday: Available Saturday
Holiday (illness) is available for Saturday's game against the Spurs. As expected, Holiday will be available after missing time with an illness. He's not expected to have a fantasy-relevant role.... See More ... See Less -
Hawks' Aaron Holiday: Upgraded to probable
Holiday (illness) has been upgraded to probable for Saturday's game against the Spurs. Holiday should be available after missing the past two games. However, his role has been reduced lately, and over his past nine appearances, he's averaged just 3.2 points in 9.4 minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Hawks' Aaron Holiday: Questionable against San Antonio
Holiday (illness) is questionable for Saturday's game versus the Spurs, Lauren L. Williams of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Holiday could miss his third straight game Thursday due to an undisclosed injury. If he's ultimately ruled out, his next chance to suit up would be Monday's matchup with Charlotte.... See More ... Hawks' Aaron Holiday: Ruled out Thursday
Holiday (illness) is out Thursday against the Suns. The reserve guard is a late scratch due to an illness. His role has been reduced as of late, so his absence won't affect Atlanta's rotation much. Still, Trent Forrest could see some more action.... See More ... See Less -
Hawks' Aaron Holiday: Questionable Thursday
Holiday is questionable for Thursday's game against the Suns due to a non-COVID illness, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Holiday wasn't on the Hawks' initial injury report for Thursday's matchup, but he's dealing with an illness a few hours before tipoff. The 26-year-old has been a DNP-CD in two of the last three matchups, so his status shouldn't significantly impact Atlanta's rotation.... See More ... See Less -
Hawks' Aaron Holiday: Shifts back to bench
Holiday will return to the second unit for Wednesday's game against the Suns, Lauren L. Williams of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Holiday saw a spot start Monday in place of Trae Young (ankle), but with Young back in action he will rejoin the reserves. Holiday has not cleared 15 minutes of action since Jan. 14.... See More ... Hawks' Aaron Holiday: Starting Monday
Holiday is starting Monday's contest against the Trail Blazers, Lauren L. Williams of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Holiday will slide into Atlanta's starting lineup with Trae Young ruled out due to an ankle injury. This will mark the UCLA product's fifth start of the season. Across his four previous starts, Holiday is averaging 5.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.3 steals over 22.8 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Hawks' Aaron Holiday: Only three minutes in loss
Holiday racked up five points (2-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt), one rebound and one steal over three minutes during Saturday's 120-113 loss to the Clippers. Holiday remains on the outer in terms of role and responsibility. Having scored double digits only six times this season, Holiday is merely a depth piece for the Hawks, offering nothing in the way of meaningful fantasy value.... See More ... See Less -
Hawks' Aaron Holiday: Invisible in 15 minutes Saturday
Holiday notched three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt), one assist, one block and one steal over 15 minutes during Saturday's 122-118 loss to the Hornets. Holiday was barely visible during his 15 minutes on the floor, scoring just three points to go with very little else. Despite being in the rotation on most nights, Holiday's role is far too insignificant to warrant fantasy attention outside of the deepest formats.... See More ... See Less -
Hawks' Aaron Holiday: Back to bench Friday
Holiday will come off the bench Friday at Indiana, Lauren L. Williams of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Holiday will return to a bench role with Trae Young (illness) back. In his past 10 games as a reserve, he's averaged 3.4 points and 1.2 assists in 10.2 minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Hawks' Aaron Holiday: Gets starting nod
Holiday is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Bucks, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Holiday will replace Trae Young (illness) in the starting five Wednesday. The 26-year-old guard is averaging 6.0 points, 3.0 assists, 1.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals in 25.7 minutes across his previous three starts.... See More ... See Less -
Hawks' Aaron Holiday: Heads back to bench
Holiday will return to the bench for Friday's game against the Lakers, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Networkreports. Holiday received a spot start last time out with Trae Young sidelined due to a quad injury. However, with Young back in the lineup, Holiday will rejoin the second unit.... See More ... See Less -
Hawks' Aaron Holiday: Modest effort in Wednesday's loss
Holiday closed Wednesday's 108-107 loss to the Nets with 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt), three rebounds, three assists and one steal in 33 minutes. Holiday played 33 minutes as a starter Wednesday, sliding in to replace the injured Trae Young (quad). Despite the gaudy playing time, Holiday provided nothing more than a mediocre fantasy line, something he has a knack for doing. He may have some limited streaming appeal if Young misses further time, but as we saw here, that is not a guarantee.... See More ... See Less
