Tatum ended Friday's 133-123 victory over the Knicks with 25 points (8-18 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 6-8 FT), six rebounds, five assists and one steal in 39 minutes. Tatum didn't have his best shooting performance Friday, but he still recorded an impressive stat line while also pushing his streak of games with 20 or more points to nine contests. The consistency Tatum shows on a game-to-game basis has been outstanding, and the star forward is averaging 26.4 points, 8.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game while shooting 47.4 percent from the field over his last 10 appearances.... Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Paces team with 32 points
Tatum racked up 32 points (13-26 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 4-7 FT), 12 rebounds, six assists and one steal across 37 minutes during Monday's 122-112 loss to Indiana. Despite Tatum's heroic total, the Celtics couldn't keep up with an explosive offensive performance from the Pacers. After averaging 30.1 points per game during the 2022-23 season, Tatum's numbers through 19 games have fallen slightly below expectations, and his field-goal conversion rate of 36.5 percent is the primary culprit. Still, the veteran is a significant rebound contributor, which can salvage his fantasy totals from a poor shooting night.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Ejected against 76ers
Tatum was ejected during the final second of the third quarter of Friday's game against the 76ers. Tatum was unhappy with the officiating and quickly received back-to-back technical fouls after arguing with the crew. His night finished with 21 points (6-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 7-9 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in 27 minutes. His status for Monday's game against the Pacers won't be in jeopardy.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Scores 26 in loss to Orlando
Tatum notched 26 points (7-16 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 12-13 FT), five rebounds, three assists and two steals in 39 minutes during Friday's 113-96 loss to the Magic. Tatum finished with a decent stat line, but to be fair, the entire Celtics offense struggled badly in this game against a red-hot Orlando team. Team-woes aside, Tatum keeps producing at an elite level and continues to deliver first-round value as one of the best all-around scorers in the game. He's averaging 27.3 points per game in November.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Double-doubles in win
Tatum notched 23 points (7-17 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 7-9 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists and one block in 36 minutes during Wednesday's 119-116 victory over the Bucks. Despite battling an illness, Tatum delivered a strong enough performance to help secure a victory against a fellow Eastern Conference contender. The MVP candidate has recorded a double-double in back-to-back games and seven times over his first 15 appearances. Tatum is averaging 27.9 points, 9.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 36.9 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Set to play Wednesday
Tatum (illness) is available for Wednesday's game versus the Bucks, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. Tatum has been upgraded from questionable to available despite dealing with a non-COVID illness. The superstar forward is averaging 29.2 points, 8.6 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.0 steals in 38.6 minutes across his last five outings.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Questionable to play
Tatum is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Bucks due to an illness. Outside of Tatum, Boston's injury report is clean. If Tatum is unable to play, the Celtics will likely use a committee approach to soak up his minutes and usage. Jrue Holiday, Derrick White, Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis would likely all have more touches coming their way in that scenario.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Explodes for 45 points in OT loss
Tatum notched 45 points (15-28 FG, 7-15 3Pt, 8-10 FT), 13 rebounds, six assists and two blocks across 44 minutes during Monday's 121-118 overtime loss to the Hornets. Tatum posted season-high marks in made field goals, threes, points and blocks, but it wasn't enough to defeat the feisty Hornets in overtime. It was the MVP candidate's sixth double-double of the campaign, and he's scored at least 30 points seven times. Across 14 appearances, Tatum has averaged 28.2 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 36.9 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Goes for 29 against 76ers
Tatum posted 29 points (10-23 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds, six assists and two steals in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 117-107 win over Philadelphia. Tatum answered the call of being Boston's go-to player on offense in this battle of contenders since Jaylen Brown (illness) and Kristaps Porzingis (knee) were both sidelined. The star forward ended just two rebounds shy of a double-double, but he still posted an excellent overall stat line. Tatum has now scored 27 or more points in three outings in a row, and he's averaging 28.0 points per game in seven November appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Drills five treys in win
Tatum chipped in 35 points (13-23 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 4-5 FT), seven assists, six rebounds and one steal in 39 minutes during Monday's 114-98 victory over the Knicks. Tatum led all players in Monday's contest in scoring and threes made while leading the Celtics with a team-high assist total. He also finished second in rebounds. Tatum tallied season-high marks in both scoring and assists and has posted 30 or more points in six of the Celtics' first 10 contests.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Goes for 27 points
Tatum totaled 27 points (10-18 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one block across 34 minutes during Saturday's 117-94 victory over the Raptors. Tatum couldn't extend his double-double streak to three games, but he continues to make a significant impact as an offensive juggernaut for one of the best teams in the league. The star forward has eclipsed the 25-point mark in six of his first nine outings while averaging 27.7 points, 9.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists per contest.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Posts double-double
Tatum finished with 23 points (6-17 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 7-9 FT), 10 rebounds and three assists across 33 minutes in Friday's 121-107 win over the Nets. Tatum was the second-highest scorer for the Celtics despite being sloppy from the field, and aside from extending his excellent start to the season from a scoring perspective, he has now grabbed at least 10 rebounds in four of his last five outings. He'll look to continue his strong two-way play when the Celtics take on the Raptors on Saturday.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Dominates the glass in defeat
Tatum supplied 16 points (6-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 15 rebounds, six assists and three steals over 37 minutes during Wednesday's 106-103 loss to the 76ers. Tatum led all players in Wednesday's contest in rebounds and assists while finishing as the lone Celtics player with a double-double. Tatum's 15 boards marked his highest total of the young season, having hauled in 10 or more rebounds in four of his seven outings. He also notched a season-high assist mark in the loss, handing out five or more dimes in two games this year.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Two-way showing as top scorer
Tatum registered 32 points (12-22 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 6-8 FT), five rebounds, two assists and five steals in 43 minutes during Monday's 114-109 overtime loss to the Timberwolves. Tatum led all Celtics players in scoring and steals while finishing north of the 30-point mark for a fourth straight contest. Tatum tallied a season-high four steals during the overtime defeat while posting 30 or more points in five of his six appearances this year.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Business as usual
Tatum contributed 32 points (10-20 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 11 rebounds and one assist in 41 minutes during Saturday's 124-114 win over Brooklyn. Tatum posted his third consecutive game with 30-plus points while shooting at least 50.0 percent from the field. The 25-year-old is averaging a career-best 9.6 rebounds per game as well. Tatum is fifth league-wide in points per game, anchoring the top-ranked offense and second-ranked defense. His early-season MVP candidacy is rock solid.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Tops 10,000 career points in win
Tatum furnished 32 points (10-20 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 11 rebounds and one assist across 41 minutes in Saturday's 124-114 win in Brooklyn. Tatum makes efficient double-doubles seem easy. Saturday night, the star forward became the youngest player in Boston Celtics' history to score 10,000 career points. He is also the only player in NBA history to register 10,000 points and 1,000 three-pointers before turning 26 years old. Tatum was unfazed by Brooklyn's attempts to push the pace. He was solid on defense and deadly accurate from the field. The MVP candidate now travels to Minnesota for Monday's contest versus the Timberwolves.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Big numbers in rout
Tatum registered 30 points (9-15 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 9-10 FT), 12 rebounds and four assists in 27 minutes during Wednesday's 155-104 victory over Indiana. Tatum's production came despite the fact he sat for the entire fourth quarter, as the Celtics produced a point total the franchise hadn't seen since the days of Bill Russell and Bob Cousy. Tatum has scored at least 30 points in three of four contests to begin the season while delivering two double-doubles and shooting a blistering 56.3 percent from the floor, and he seems laser-focused on topping last season's fourth-place finish in MVP voting.... Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Impressive outing on offense
Tatum amassed 33 points (14-21 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds and three assists over 28 minutes during Monday's 126-107 win over Washington. Jaylen Brown led the Celtics offensively with a 36-point outburst in this easy win for Boston, but Tatum's scoring prowess can't go overlooked, as he was extremely efficient from the field and reached the 30-point mark for the second time in his first three outings. His role as Boston's go-to player on offense is set in stone despite the fact he'll share the court with Brown and Kristaps Porzingis, so that gives him an extremely high floor on most nights. Through three games (all wins), Tatum is posting 29.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 3.3 threes per game -- all roughly in line with his 2022-23 season averages.... See More ... Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Impressive in season opener
Tatum supplied 34 points (13-22 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals over 39 minutes during Wednesday's 108-104 win over the Knicks. Tatum carried the Celtics on offense, and while one game is an extremely small sample size, he showed his fantasy upside is not expected to take a hit despite the offseason additions of Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday. Tatum scored at least 30 points an astonishing 42 times during the 2022-23 regular season.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Leading scorer in return

Tatum has appeared in two preseason games so far, averaging 20.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.0 steals over 28.5 minutes over that span.... See More ... See Less
