  • Warriors' Jonathan Kuminga: Notches 26 points in loss

Kuminga supplied 26 points (11-23 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 1-3 FT), three rebounds and two steals over 32 minutes during Wednesday's 121-110 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Kuminga certainly had a rollercoaster of a season considering he was in and out of coach Steve Kerr's rotation, but he went out with a bang. In his last four playoff appearances, Kuminga averaged 24.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.8 three-pointers in 31.0 minutes per game. Kuminga will now enter restricted free agency with his future very much uncertain based on Kerr's usage of the forward at times.

  • Warriors' Jonathan Kuminga: Scores team-high 23 points

Kuminga logged 23 points (6-13 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 11-12 FT), one assist and one steal across 30 minutes during Monday's 117-110 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Kuminga continues to play well for the short-handed Warriors, leading the team with 23 points. While his recent play has been encouraging, the same cannot be said for the team as a whole. Golden State now trails 3-1 with the series shifting back to Minnesota for Game 5. If Stephen Curry (hamstring) is unavailable once again, Kuminga will likely assume a larger role.

  • Warriors' Jonathan Kuminga: Explodes for 30 points in Game 3

Kuminga finished with 30 points (11-18 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, three assists and two blocks across 36 minutes during Saturday's 102-97 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals. The Warriors needed Kuminga to provide an offensive boost in this game, and he delivered a breakout performance while easily leading Golden State's second unit in scoring. Kuminga is expected to continue seeing an uptick in minutes for as long as Stephen Curry (hamstring) remains sidelined, affording him a optimistic short-term fantasy outlook in all formats.

  • Warriors' Jonathan Kuminga: Provides spark off bench

Kuminga recorded 18 points (8-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-4 FT), five rebounds and one assist in 26 minutes during Thursday's 117-93 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals. With Stephen Curry (hamstring) out, Kuminga led Golden State in scoring despite coming off the bench in Game 2. With Curry set to miss a few more games due to injury, Kuminga and the Warriors' other role players will likely be relied upon to continue shouldering an increased offensive load.

  • Warriors' Jonathan Kuminga: Fails to score in return

Kuminga provided zero points (0-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound and one steal across seven minutes during Sunday's 103-89 victory over the Rockets in Game 7 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Kuminga returned to the lineup for Game 7, although the stat sheet tells a different story. It's been a tale of woe for Kuminga thus far during the playoffs, dealing with an illness while also seemingly falling out of favor with the coaching staff. Based on how little we saw from him during the first round, it's hard to think he will play any sort of meaningful role against the Timberwolves in the upcoming semifinal-round clash.

  • Warriors' Jonathan Kuminga: Return to rotation possible

Kuminga's return to the Warriors' rotation is possible for Sunday's game, according to head coach Steve Kerr, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports. Kuminga has not played in four of the last six games in the first round of the NBA playoffs, as he has been dealing with an illness and seems to have fallen out of favor with the coaching staff. However, with the season on the line heading into Game 7, there's a chance he gets some time on the floor. In the two games the 22-year-old has played in this series, he averaged 9.0 points. 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game, shooting 36.8 percent from the field.

  • Warriors' Jonathan Kuminga: Starting sans Butler

Kuminga is in the Warriors' starting lineup against the Rockets in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. Kuminga didn't play in Game 1, but he came in off the bench in Game 2 after Jimmy Butler went down with a pelvic contusion in the first quarter. With Butler ruled out for Game 3, Kuminga will enter the Warriors' starting lineup for the first time since Dec. 15. Kuminga won't return during Sunday's game against the Spurs due to right ankle soreness. The 22-year-old forward exited to the locker room after a hard fall with 6:59 remaining in the second quarter, and he'll likely undergo further testing ahead of Tuesday's game against Memphis. He'll finish Sunday's matchup with four points (1-2 FG, 2-2 FT) and one rebound across seven minutes. Gui Santos will likely receive an uptick in playing time the rest of the way due to Kuminga being sidelined.

  • Warriors' Jonathan Kuminga: Exits to locker room Sunday

Kuminga (undisclosed) exited to the locker room with 6:59 remaining in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Spurs, Sam Gordon of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Kuminga walked back to the locker room gingerly following a hard fall on a drive to the basket. The 22-year-old appeared to reach for his lower back after the fall, and if he's unable to return Sunday, Gui Santos could receive an uptick in playing time the rest of the way.

  • Warriors' Jonathan Kuminga: Scores 16 points off bench

Kuminga registered 16 points (6-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds and two assists over 22 minutes during Saturday's 124-115 loss to the Hawks. Kuminga has logged six appearances off the bench since returning from a lengthy absence due to a right ankle sprain that caused him to miss 31 contests between Jan. 5 and March 10. Kuminga has been very consistent, scoring in double digits in each game and crossing the 15-point plateau three times. He's averaging 13.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 0.7 steals across 23.2 minutes per game in that span.

  • Warriors' Jonathan Kuminga: Hits for 16 in Thursday's win

Kuminga closed Thursday's 117-114 victory over the Raptors with 16 points (7-15 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, three assists and two steals in 25 minutes off the bench. In his fifth game back from an ankle injury that cost him over two months of action, Kuminga delivered another steady scoring effort from the second unit. The fourth-year forward is averaging 13.4 points, 3.4 boards, 3.0 assists and 0.8 steals in 23.4 minutes since rejoining the lineup, but Kuminga's workload and usage could be set to increase if Stephen Curry (pelvis) ends up missing more time after checking out of Thursday's game early.

  • Warriors' Jonathan Kuminga: Efficient outing in return

Kuminga (ankle) registered 18 points (7-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal across 20 minutes off the bench in Thursday's 130-104 victory over the Kings. Kuminga produced an efficient performance during his return from a 31-game absence due to a right ankle sprain. The 22-year-old forward operated under a minutes restriction, though he made the most of his limited run, scoring 18-plus for the 15th time across 33 appearances. The club will likely continue to work Kuminga back gradually after an extended absence, and it wouldn't come as a surprise if he remains with the second unit for at least a few more games.
