    Boston recalled Davison from the G League's Maine Celtics on Monday, Sean Grande of NBC Sports Boston reports. With Al Horford (rest) and Derrick White (personal) both out, Davison and Jordan Walsh have been recalled from the G League team for added depth. Davison has yet to appear in an NBA contest this season, but he did make 12 appearances for Boston in 2022-23.

    Davison posted 11 points (3-8 FG, 1-3 3PT, 4-4 FT), 11 rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks over 26 minutes of Wednesday's 95-90 win over the Lakers during Summer League. Davison collected another double-double, this time doing it in points and rebounds instead of points and assists. The guard did a little of everything for Boston in the win, earning a 6-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio with four combined steals and blocks across 26 minutes. Davison should remain a top option for the Celtics' Summer League squad.

    Davison averaged 13.0 points, 8.2 assists, 4.8 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.2 blocks in five Summer League Games. Davison led the entire Summer League in assists. Not only did he pass the ball well, but he shot 46.7 percent from three on three attempts per game and was wreaking havoc on defense. It's hard to imagine the 2022 second-round pick really cracking the rotation on a Celtics roster fixated on another title run, but his strong Summer League showing is a positive indication as training camp nears.
