  • Jazz's Collin Sexton: Posts season-low scoring total

Sexton produced one point (0-5 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one steal over 11 minutes during Wednesday's 121-105 loss to the Trail Blazers. Sexton was unable to convert any of his field-goal attempts during Wednesday's matchup, and he couldn't generate enough production in secondary categories to salvage his fantasy production. Despite Wednesday's lackluster stat line, he's scored in double figures in 11 of 15 appearances this year and has averaged 11.7 points, 3.1 assists and 2.6 rebounds in 19.5 minutes per game.

  • Jazz's Collin Sexton: Notches 18 points

Sexton logged 18 points (6-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal across 23 minutes during Sunday's 140-137 double-overtime loss to the Suns. Sexton has settled into a decently sized role with the second unit, though his production has been sporadic. Over the past five games, Sexton is seeing 20.8 minutes per night with averages of 11.8 points, 4.2 assists, 3.4 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 1.0 three-pointers on 40.8 percent shooting from the field.

  • Jazz's Collin Sexton: Scores 10 off bench

Sexton contributed 10 points (3-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, six assists and one steal in 18 minutes during Friday's 127-121 win over the Grizzlies. Sexton has now reached double-digit point totals in eight of 10 games this year. His six assists also tied a season-high mark. The veteran reserve guard is averaging 12.2 points, 2.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 0.9 triples across a career-low 18.8 minutes on the young season.

  • Jazz's Collin Sexton: Thrives as off-guard

Sexton ended with 23 points (8-10 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds and six assists across 22 minutes during Wednesday's 133-109 win over Memphis. The Jazz may have found the winning combination by taking Sexton out of his usual role as a second-unit floor general. Sexton is used to bringing the ball down the court, but he looked superb by leaving the point guard duties to Jordan Clarkson. The blowout of Memphis was quite decisive, and it would not be surprising to see Clarkson and Sexton aligned together in a starting lineup soon.

  • Jazz's Collin Sexton: Available to play Saturday

Sexton (wrist) is available to play Saturday against the Suns. Sexton has had some ups and downs in his first two outings of the season, averaging 11.0 points and 2.0 rebounds across 19.5 minutes of play. He is expected to continue coming off the bench, though the nature of that role limits his upside a bit.

  • Jazz's Collin Sexton: Expected to play Saturday

Sexton is probable for Saturday's game versus the Suns due to a right wrist sprain, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. Sexton has averaged 11.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 19.5 minutes across his first two appearances this season. Sexton will likely continue to come off the bench if he's upgraded to available.

  • Jazz's Collin Sexton: Headed to bench

Sexton isn't in the starting lineup for Wednesday's season opener against the Kings, Sarah Todd of The Deseret News reports. Sexton will be replaced by Jordan Clarkson in the starting lineup Wednesday. Sexton is expected to be Utah's primary backup point guard this season.

  • Jazz's Collin Sexton: Goes for 24 points

Sexton contributed 24 points (11-16 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five rebounds and five assists across 25 minutes in Thursday's 116-113 preseason loss to the Kings. Sexton got the start in the preseason finale since the Jazz rested several expected starters, and he made the most of the opportunity, leading the team in scoring with efficient shooting. Sexton is likely to open the season as the main backup guard due to his ability to play both positions, but he should have decent fantasy upside in that role if he's able to log around 25 minutes per game on a consistent basis.

  • Jazz's Collin Sexton: Starting against Sacramento

Sexton is in the starting lineup for Thursday's preseason matchup against the Kings, David Locke of the Jazz's official website reports. Sexton gets the nod in the backcourt alongside Talen Horton-Tucker in a game where Utah decided to rest Jordan Clarkson, Lauri Markkanen and other projected starters. Sexton hasn't been at his best in the preseason, averaging just 8.0 points per game across four outings.

  • Jazz's Collin Sexton: Strong effort off bench

Sexton notched 16 points (3-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 8-8 FT), a rebound, six assists, a steal and a block across 19 minutes off the bench in Saturday's 138-133 preseason win over the Trail Blazers. Sexton is battling with Jordan Clarkson for a starting role in the backcourt, and while he came off the bench in this one, he certainly left a good impression. He delivered single-digit scoring numbers in his first two exhibitions, but this was Sexton's best preseason game so far. He will try to build off this performance when Utah takes on the New Zealand Breakers on Monday at Delta Center.

  • Jazz's Collin Sexton: Heads to bench

Sexton is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Trail Blazers, Ben Anderson of KSL News Salt Lake City reports. Sexton got the start Tuesday against the Clippers, but he'll head to the bench here, with Jordan Clarkson moving into the starting unit. Sexton delivered three points (1-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), a rebound and five assists across 18 minutes against the Clippers.

  • Jazz's Collin Sexton: Poor shooting display Sunday

Sexton delivered three points (1-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), a rebound and five assists across 18 minutes in Sunday's 101-96 preseason win over the Clippers. Sexton struggled from the field Sunday, but the shooting woes shouldn't be much of an issue given this was Sexton's first taste of game action since April. Sexton averaged 14.3 points, 2.9 assists and 2.2 rebounds per game across 48 appearances (15 starts) in 2022-23, and he's in the mix to operate as Utah's starting point guard to start the 2023-24 campaign.

  • Jazz's Collin Sexton: Not featuring Sunday

Sexton (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Lakers. Sexton missed the final three games of the season due to a nagging hamstring injury, but that was probably the best decision since Utah has nothing to play for Sunday. Sexton ends his first season with the Jazz averaging 14.3 points, 2.9 assists and 2.2 rebounds per game across 48 appearances (15 starts).

  • Jazz's Collin Sexton: Remains out

Sexton (hamstring) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Nuggets, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. Sexton will miss a second straight game after returning to action April 4 following a month-long injury absence. The point guard's status for Utah's regular-season finale against the Lakers on Sunday remains to be determined.

  • Jazz's Collin Sexton: Out Thursday

Sexton has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Thunder due to left hamstring injury maintenance. In his return from an 18-game absence in Tuesday's 135-133 loss to the Lakers, Sexton played just 16 minutes but scored 15 points to go with three assists and one rebound. Even though Thursday's contest is a standalone contest, Sexton will get some maintenance. Utah closes its regular season with a Saturday/Sunday back-to-back set versus the Nuggets and Lakers, respectively, so expect Sexton to sit out at least one of those contests.

  • Jazz's Collin Sexton: Scores 15 points in return

Sexton had 15 points (7-14 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound and three assists across 16 minutes during Tuesday's 135-133 overtime loss to the Lakers. Sexton returned from an 18-game absence Tuesday and was limited off the bench, but that didn't stop the Alabama product from making an impact. The fifth-year guard failed to connect from deep but still scored 15 points thanks to efficient shooting from inside the arc and finished fourth on the team in scoring.

  • Jazz's Collin Sexton: Will play 16-20 minutes

Sexton (hamstring) will play 16-20 minutes in Tuesday's game against the Lakers, Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reports. Sexton hasn't played since Feb. 15, so his strict limitations come with little surprise. Though his workload will be limited, Sexton has shown the ability to put up double-digit points in less than 20 minutes multiple times this season.

  • Jazz's Collin Sexton: Will play Tuesday

Sexton (hamstring) is available for Tuesday's game against the Lakers, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. Sexton will be available for the first time since Feb. 15, but Utah figures to be cautious with the point guard during his return from a hamstring injury. Before he suffered the injury, Sexton had scored in double figures in 14 straight appearances (four starts) and averaged 15.6 points, 3.0 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 25.4 minutes during that stretch.

  • Jazz's Collin Sexton: Questionable Tuesday

Sexton (hamstring) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Lakers. Sexton has missed the last 18 matchups due to a left hamstring strain but will be listed as questionable once again prior to Tuesday's matchup. If he remains out, Kris Dunn and Talen Horton-Tucker should continue to see increased run.
