  • Jazz's Brice Sensabaugh: Will play against Brooklyn

Sensabaugh (illness) is available for Sunday's game against the Nets.

Sensabaugh will return Sunday from a three-game absence due to an illness. He had scored at least 20 points in three of five games prior to his absence, and over that span he averaged 18.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists over 22.4 minutes per contest.

  • Jazz's Brice Sensabaugh: Deemed questionable Sunday

Sensabaugh is questionable for Sunday's game against the Nets due to return to competition reconditioning.

The 21-year-old forward is nearing a return to game action after missing three consecutive contests due to an illness. With Sensabaugh, Kyle Filipowski (ankle) and Lauri Markkanen (back) all listed as questionable, Micah Potter and Cody Williams could be in line for increased roles.

  • Jazz's Brice Sensabaugh: Ruled out for Saturday

Sensabaugh (illness) will not play Saturday against the Suns.

Sensabaugh will miss his third game in a row Saturday and remains day-to-day. His next chance to play comes Sunday against the Nets. In the meantime, Micah Potter and Kyle Filipowski could see additional minutes versus the Suns.

  • Jazz's Brice Sensabaugh: Questionable to play Saturday

Sensabaugh (illness) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against Phoenix.

Sensabaugh has been sidelined for Utah's last two games due to an illness. It's bad timing for the second-year forward, who scored 20 points or more in three of the five games prior to his illness. Micah Potter and Kyle Filipowski would continue to see more playing time if Sensabaugh is unable to play Saturday.

  • Jazz's Brice Sensabaugh: Won't play against Miami

Sensabaugh (illness) is out for Thursday's game versus the Heat.

Sensabaugh will miss his second straight game Thursday after being downgraded from questionable to out due to an illness. Sensabaugh dropped a season-high 34 points in his previous outing against Miami, so Utah will need to look for scoring output elsewhere. The 21-year-old forward's next chance to suit up is Saturday's matchup with Phoenix.

  • Jazz's Brice Sensabaugh: Questionable for Thursday

Sensabaugh is questionable for Thursday's game against the Heat due to an illness.

An illness could cost Sensabaugh a second straight game Thursday. With John Collins (hip) already ruled out against Miami, Kyle Filipowski and Micah Potter would be candidates for increased playing time if Sensabaugh is also unable to suit up for the Jazz.

  • Jazz's Brice Sensabaugh: Ruled out against Atlanta

Sensabaugh (illness) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Hawks.

Sensabaugh is coming off two incredible performances on the road. He dropped 34 points on the Heat on Saturday and followed that up with 27 during Sunday's game against the Magic. Fortunately for Utah, Lauri Markkanen will return to the floor for the Jazz on Tuesday night when they take on Trae Young and company.

  • Jazz's Brice Sensabaugh: Iffy due to illness

Sensabaugh is listed questionable for Tuesday's game against the Hawks due to an illness.

Sensabaugh was a late addition to the injury report, which doesn't bode well for his chances of being cleared ahead of Tuesday's 9 p.m. ET tipoff. He's been getting a lot of run for the Jazz lately and combined to score 61 points over his last two outings, though Sensabaugh has benefited greatly from the Jazz being without Jordan Clarkson (foot) for most of both games and John Collins (personal), Lauri Markkanen (back) and Keyonte George (heel) for the most recent contest. All of Collins, George and Clarkson will remain out Tuesday, while Markkanen joins Sensabaugh as being questionable. If one or both of Markkanen and Sensabaugh are both sidelined, the Jazz could use a committee of Johnny Juzang, Svi Mykhailiuk, Cody Williams, Micah Potter and Kyle Filipowski to soak up minutes at forward.

  • Jazz's Brice Sensabaugh: Extends sizzling streak

Sensabaugh racked up 27 points (11-19 FG, 5-6 3Pt) and three rebounds over 28 minutes during Sunday's 105-92 win over the Magic.

Sensabaugh was coming off a career-high 34-point effort in the 36-point win over the Heat on Saturday in the first leg of a back-to-back set, and he followed that up with another spectacular showing. Even though Sensabaugh's fantasy upside remains fairly low due to his bench role, he seems to be heating up of late after scoring at least 20 points in three of his last five appearances. It's worth noting that Utah was without Jordan Clarkson (foot), Keyonte George (heel), Lauri Markkanen (back) and John Collins (personal) for this contest.

  • Jazz's Brice Sensabaugh: Erupts for career-high 34 points

Sensabaugh logged 34 points (12-18 FG, 7-11 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and two steals over 26 minutes during Saturday's 136-100 victory over the Heat.

Sensabaugh was on fire in the win, compiling easily the best performance of his young career. He has now scored at least 20 points in two of the past four games. However, his total for the remaining two games has been just nine points. The Jazz are likely to be in the conversation for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, given they have only eight wins for the season. Although this effort is unlikely to repeat itself, Sensabaugh could certainly move into a more sizeable role at some point, if and when the Jazz call on their youth a bit more.

  • Jazz's Brice Sensabaugh: Sparks late rally during loss

Sensabaugh ended Saturday's 114-111 loss to the 76ers with 20 points (6-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 5-5 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one block in 25 minutes.

Sensabaugh posted 16 points, four rebounds, two assists and a block in the final 15 minutes, leading the team during a late rally that ultimately came up short. Sensabaugh has bounced back and forth from the parent club and the G League during his two seasons with the Jazz, but Saturday's total was his best of the season, and the third highest of his career. Continued success in the short term will rely on the status of John Collins' (hip) injury, as his absence gives Sensabaugh more opportunity in the rotation.

  • Jazz's Brice Sensabaugh: Recalled to NBA

Utah recalled Sensabaugh from the G League's Salt Lake City Stars on Tuesday.

Prior to getting recalled, Sensabaugh played 27 minutes in Tuesday's 106-104 loss to the San Diego Clippers. He notched 21 points (9-19 FG, 3-10 3Pt), five rebounds, four assists and one steal.

  • Jazz's Brice Sensabaugh: Scores nine points

Sensabaugh notched nine points (3-7 FG, 3-6 3Pt), one rebound, two assists and one steal in 17 minutes during Sunday's 141-97 loss to the Kings.

Sensabaugh made the most of his limited minutes in this blowout loss. He's played well so far this season and is hitting 46.2 percent from the field and 41.8 percent from beyond the arc through his first 17 games, but his workloads are still pretty low. He could see his value increase quickly if the Jazz end up being sellers at the trade deadline.

  • Jazz's Brice Sensabaugh: Steps up with 16 points

Sensabaugh contributed 16 points (6-11 FG, 4-7 3Pt) and one steal over 27 minutes during Tuesday's 128-115 loss to the Spurs.

If Lauri Markkanen's (knee) injury requires him to miss more time, Sensabaugh should be in line for increased production. Although Sensabaugh had a quiet start to the season and has missed several games due to injury, he's averaged 17 points over the past two games.

  • Jazz's Brice Sensabaugh: Impresses in loss to Spurs

Sensabaugh produced 18 points (7-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt), six rebounds, one assist and one block across 22 minutes during Thursday's 126-118 loss to San Antonio.

Sensabaugh hadn't played a game for the Jazz since Nov. 12, when he went scoreless across 10 minutes in a loss against the Suns. However, he came out of nowhere to deliver a season-high mark in scoring. Considering this was the first time he logged more than 20 minutes in a game, and just the third time he scored in double digits, don't expect Sensabaugh to suddenly become a part of the rotation after just one standout performance.

  • Jazz's Brice Sensabaugh: Slides out of rotation

Sensabaugh played the final 3:25 of Thursday's 123-100 loss to the Bucks, recording six points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and one rebound.

The returns of Jordan Clarkson (heel) from a two-game absence and Lauri Markkanen (back) from a three-game absence left no room in the rotation for Sensabaugh, who didn't check into the game until the Jazz were trailing by 24 points late in the fourth quarter. Sensabaugh had played double-digit minutes in each of the Jazz's first seven games, but he ended up losing his spot on the second unit to Johnny Juzang, who will likely remain ahead of Sensabaugh in the pecking order for the time being after drilling three three-pointers in his 16 minutes Thursday.

  • Jazz's Brice Sensabaugh: Contributes 11 points Tuesday

Sensabaugh racked up 11 points (4-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist over 16 minutes during Tuesday's 113-96 loss to Sacramento.

Sensabaugh posted the 10th double-digit scoring effort of his young career Tuesday, and he might be tasked with a slight uptick in usage after Taylor Hendricks suffered a season-ending leg injury. Sensabaugh has averaged 14.8 minutes while appearing in all four of Utah's contests to thus far.

  • Jazz's Brice Sensabaugh: Team option picked up

The Jazz exercised the third-year rookie scale option on Sensabaugh's contract Monday.

Sensabaugh is now under contract through the 2025-26 season. He made 32 regular-season appearances as a rookie, including 11 starts. As a starter, Sensabaugh averaged 10.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 26.3 minutes per game. However, most of those came when Utah had already thrown in the towel and were resting players. Sensabaugh is expected to handle a minor reserve role to start the 2024-25 campaign.

  • Jazz's Brice Sensabaugh: Solid finish to preseason

Sensabaugh scored 13 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-5 FT) while adding two rebounds and an assist in 24 minutes off the bench during Friday's 124-86 preseason loss to the Trail Blazers.

The second-year forward led all Jazz players in minutes and points on the night. Sensabaugh didn't have a regular spot in the frontcourt rotation until late February as a rookie, but over the last 25 contests last season he averaged 22.2 minutes a game with 9.0 points, 3.9 boards, 2.1 assists and 1.3 threes, usage and production he could match in 2024-25 as a part of the second unit.

  • Jazz's Brice Sensabaugh: Cleared to play

Sensabaugh (finger) has been cleared to participate in training camp this week, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Sensabaugh tore an extensor tendon in his left middle finger during Summer League and was given a six-week timetable, so he likely had plenty of time to work on his game during the offseason. He made 32 regular-season appearances as a rookie, posting averages of 7.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 18.3 minutes.
