Grizzlies' Marvin Bagley: Idle in final two playoff games
Bagley did not play in Game 3 or Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs against the Thunder.
Bagley saw extended playing time in a Game 1 blowout, finishing with 17 points, five rebounds, two steals and one block over 16 minutes, but he proceeded to record only one rebound over 11 minutes in Game 2. Bagley started the regular season with the Wizards but was traded to the Grizzlies in early February. He appeared in just 12 regular-season games (one start) for Memphis due to an ankle injury and concussion, averaging 3.6 points and 2.3 rebounds over 8.3 minutes. The 2018 first-round pick out of Duke will enter the offseason as an unrestricted free agent.

Grizzlies' Marvin Bagley: Perfect off bench in playoff loss
Bagley logged 17 points (8-8 FG, 1-1 3Pt), five rebounds, one block and two steals across 16 minutes during Sunday's 131-80 loss to Oklahoma City in Game 1 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Bagley provided a big spark off the Memphis bench in Sunday's first-round showdown, shooting a perfect mark from the field -- including a 47-foot bucket to close out the third quarter -- while securing a team-high-tying scoring total and leading all Grizzlies in steals. Bagley surpassed the 15-point mark in three games during the regular season, the most recent being the regular-season finale last Sunday.

Grizzlies' Marvin Bagley: Slides to second unit vs. Warriors
Bagley won't start in Tuesday's Play-In Game against the Warriors, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
The 26-year-old big man will retreat to the bench after receiving the starting nod in the club's regular-season finale against Dallas on Sunday due to Zach Edey (ankle) being sidelined. Bagley has logged a DNP in three of Memphis' last six outings, and over his last five appearances in the second unit, he has averaged 0.8 points and 1.2 rebounds across only 4.0 minutes per game.

Grizzlies' Marvin Bagley: Impactful two-way presence
Bagley notched 25 points (11-18 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists and one steal across 31 minutes during Sunday's 132-97 win over Dallas.
Bagley made the most of the opportunity to feature Sunday and posted an excellent stat line. However, he's quite low in the pecking order in the rotation, so he's not likely to see a big role in the frontcourt once the playoffs begin. At least he'll be a depth option for any of the two frontcourt roles behind either Jaren Jackson or Zach Edey.

Grizzlies' Marvin Bagley: Starting Sunday
Bagley is in the Grizzlies' starting lineup against the Mavericks on Sunday, Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal.com reports.
Bagley has seen inconsistent playing time with the Grizzlies, but he'll make his first start for Memphis due to the absences of Zach Edey (ankle), Jaren Jackson (back) and Santi Aldama (ankle). Bagley is averaging 1.6 points and 1.5 rebounds across 6.2 minutes per game for the Grizzlies this season, though he should get an extended run in Sunday's regular-season finale.

Grizzlies' Marvin Bagley: Cleared to return Saturday
Bagley (concussion) is available for Saturday's game against the Lakers, Michael C. Wright of ESPN.com reports.
Bagley has been sidelined for the Grizzlies' last two games, but he has cleared the league's concussion protocol and will be available off the bench for Saturday's contest. He's seen sparse playing time this season but offers depth at center behind Jaren Jackson and Zach Edey.

Grizzlies' Marvin Bagley: Could return Saturday
Bagley (concussion) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Lakers.
Bagley has been sidelined for the Grizzlies' last two games due to a concussion, but his questionable tag indicates that he is progressing through the league's concussion protocol. He hasn't seen much playing time when healthy, so his return wouldn't impact the Grizzlies' frontcourt rotation.

Grizzlies' Marvin Bagley: Ruled out against Oklahoma City
Bagley (concussion) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Thunder.
Bagley will miss a second straight game for the Grizzlies as he works his way back from a concussion. The next opportunity for him to get back on the floor for Memphis will be Saturday against the Lakers.

Grizzlies' Marvin Bagley: Out with concussion
Bagley is out for Tuesday's game against Utah due to a concussion.
Bagley will need to sit out at least one game while in the concussion protocol, and he can be labeled day-to-day ahead of Thursday's matchup with Oklahoma City. The veteran big man has played a mere 7.0 minutes per game over seven appearances since joining Memphis, so his absence is unlikely to free up a noticeable number of minutes.

Grizzlies' Marvin Bagley: Makes debut in garbage time
Bagley (ankle) recorded no statistics while playing the final 1:31 of Thursday's 127-111 loss to the Pacers.
Bagley made his Grizzlies debut in garbage time, playing for the first time since Dec. 23 after he had been sidelined due to a right ankle distal syndesmosis sprain before the Wizards shipped him to Memphis ahead of the Feb. 6 trade deadline. So long as the Grizzlies have at least two or three of Jaren Jackson, Zach Edey, Brandon Clarke and Jay Huff available in the frontcourt, Bagley likely won't be in the mix for a rotation spot.

Grizzlies' Marvin Bagley: Cleared to play Thursday
Bagley (ankle) has been cleared to play Thursday against the Pacers, Jonah Dylan of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
Bagley will suit up for the first time since Dec. 23, after he had missed 21 straight games due to a right knee sprain before the Wizards traded him to the Grizzlies on Feb. 6. The Grizzlies had been listing Bagley's injury as a right ankle distal syndesmosis sprain since he joined the team, but the big man looks like he'll be good to go coming out of the All-Star break. Bagley isn't expected to be part of head coach Taylor Jenkins' rotation while Zach Edey, Brandon Clarke and Jaren Jackson are available to cover all the minutes at center.

Grizzlies' Marvin Bagley: Traded to Memphis
The Wizards traded Bagley (knee) to the Grizzlies on Thursday as part of the Marcus Smart trade, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
Bagley is currently sidelined by a right knee sprain and has missed 21 straight games. He hasn't been given an official timetable, but the Grizzlies should provide some clarity once he joins his new team. Once healthy, there's no guarantee that Bagley is able to crack the rotation in Memphis.

Wizards' Marvin Bagley: Set for another absence
Bagley (knee) is out for Saturday's game against the Timberwolves.
Bagley hasn't played since Dec. 26 and is set to miss his 21st straight contest due to a right knee sprain. Given that the Wizards haven't provided any indication that Bagley has resumed on-court work, the 25-year-old looks to be week-to-week rather than day-to-day at this stage.
