Green (calf) is available for Tuesday's preseason game versus the Grizzlies, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports. Green will return to the lineup Tuesday after missing the team's preseason opener with a calf injury. The second-year guard averaged 4.4 points and 1.3 rebounds in 9.9 minutes across 35 appearances in his rookie campaign.... See More ... See Less

Bucks' AJ Green: Practices Monday
Green (calf) participated in Monday's practice session, Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. Green was unavailable for Sunday's preseason matchup against Chicago due to a right calf strain, but it's encouraging that he was back at practice a day later. His status for Tuesday's preseason game against the Grizzlies isn't yet clear.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' AJ Green: Dealing with calf strain
Green won't play in Sunday's preseason game against the Bulls due to a right calf strain, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports. It's unclear when Green suffered the injury, but he won't be available for Sunday's preseason opener. It's a missed opportunity for a significant chunk of playing time, with Damian Lillard (rest), Cameron Payne (rest) and Khris Middleton (knee) sitting out.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' AJ Green: Likely to play Tuesday
Bucks Summer League coach Adrian Griffin said Monday that Green (undisclosed) is expected to play in Tuesday's game versus Brooklyn, Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. Green will likely make his Summer League debut Tuesday after missing Milwaukee's last contest due to an undisclosed reason. As a rookie in 2022-23, Green made 35 NBA appearances.... See More ... Bucks' AJ Green: Out Friday
Green won't play in Friday's Summer League game against the Nuggets due to an undisclosed reason, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports. Lindell Wigginton (undisclosed) will also be unavailable, but it's possible both players are simply resting the first half of a back-to-back set and will play Saturday against the Suns in Las Vegas. Green starred for the Wisconsin Herd in the G League last year, and if he's available, he should garner a sizable role for Milwaukee's Summer League squad.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' AJ Green: Staying in Milwaukee
Green agreed to a multi-year contract with the Bucks on Thursday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. While the terms of the contract are yet to be announced, the first year of Green's deal is reportedly fully guaranteed. As an undrafted rookie on a two-way contract in 2022-23, Green averaged 4.4 points and 1.3 rebounds in 9.9 minutes across 35 games. Despite being upgraded to the 15-man roster ahead of the 2023-24 season, Green will likely continue to hold a depth role for the Bucks and may not be guaranteed a regular rotation spot.... Bucks' AJ Green: Off injury report
Green (foot) will be active for Sunday's game against Miami, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Green missed the regular-season finale with soreness in his right foot but has cleared the injury report ahead of Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Playoffs First Round. However, Green appeared in just 35 games this season and likely won't be part be part of the Bucks' playoff rotation.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' AJ Green: Out for remainder of game
Green won't return to Friday's game versus the Grizzlies due to right foot soreness. Green tallied six points, two rebounds and two assists in 15 minutes before leaving Friday's game. Jevon Carter and Thanasis Antetokounmpo will likely receive extended minutes in his absence.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' AJ Green: Scores 23 with Herd
Green logged 23 points (8-17 FG, 5-13 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and one steal across 34 minutes during the Herd's 129-114 win over Grand Rapids on Tuesday. Currently, Green is part of Milwaukee's G League team. It is unclear how long he will be there. But while part of the Herd, Green is expected to be one of their best options moving forward. Across the few G League games he has logged with them this season, Green averaged 21.1 points and 4.9 rebounds.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' AJ Green: Consistency continues
Green logged 25 points (9-13 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five assists, five rebounds and one steal across 31 minutes during Wisconsin's 144-133 loss to Windy City on Friday. Green has made six three-pointers in each of his last three games. Across the G League season, he is averaging 5.0 three-pointers made on a 46.5 percent clip. Though Lindell Wigginton is available again, Green and Jordan Bone are expected to continue being Wisconsin's starting backcourt.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' AJ Green: Scores 30 points
Green logged 30 points (12-17 FG, 6-8 3Pt), six rebounds, one assist and one steal across 37 minutes during the Herd's 131-116 loss at Long Island on Monday. If Green continues to be a part of the Milwaukee Bucks' G League team, he is expected to be one of their best contributors. Monday's game indicated such, as Green scored six three-pointers to make up 60 percent of his 30 points.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' AJ Green: Still in G League
Green won't play for the Bucks during Sunday's matchup against the Pelicans. Green was initially listed as probable for Sunday's game due to left ankle soreness, but he was ultimately sent to the G League for a rehab assignment. He played 30 minutes for the Herd on Saturday and remains with Wisconsin on Sunday.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' AJ Green: Plays 33 minutes
Green (ankle) logged 11 points (4-13 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six assists, four rebounds and two steals across 30 minutes during the Herd's 116-102 loss to Greensboro on Saturday. Before the Bucks play against New Orleans on Sunday, they had Green partake in a game for their G League affiliate to test out his ankle. Green logging 33 minutes indicates he is fine, though fantasy managers should not expect him playing that much while Jrue Holiday and Grayson Allen are available.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' AJ Green: Receives probable tag
Green (ankle) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Pelicans, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports. Green missed Friday's game due to left ankle soreness but will likely be a go for Sunday. However, Green doesn't typically factor into the rotation, so his potential return would have minimal fantasy impact.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' AJ Green: Sidelined Friday
Green (ankle) will miss Friday's game versus the Pacers, Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. The ankle issue is expected to be a minor concern for Green, but it'll prevent him from playing in at least one contest. Considering he didn't leave the bench in the Bucks' last game Wednesday against Denver in a coach's decision, Green's absence Friday shouldn't affect head coach Mike Budenholzer's rotation.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' AJ Green: Questionable Friday
Green is questionable for Friday's game against the Pacers due to left ankle soreness. Green was a DNP-CD for Wednesday's game against the Nuggets and is apparently dealing with a left ankle issue ahead of Friday's matchup. However, his status shouldn't have a significant impact on the Bucks' rotation.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' AJ Green: Puts up 15 points
Green provided 15 points (5-10 FG, 5-10 3Pt) and three rebounds over 19 minutes during Thursday's 108-102 loss to the Heat. Green put on a show from beyond the arc, which is where he did all of his scoring Thursday evening. He's scored in double figures in two of his last three contests and is averaging 7.7 points and 2.0 rebounds through six contests in January.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' AJ Green: Double-digit scoring in loss
Green racked up 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt), three rebounds and one steal over 19 minutes during Sunday's 118-95 loss to Washington. Green logged at least 19 minutes for the second straight game, scoring double-digits for the third time in his young career. The Bucks continue to play shorthanded, meaning Green is in the mix for playing time. With that said, he is yet to deliver production worthy of attention in fantasy leagues. With the Bucks pushing hard once again this season, Green's path to minutes is extremely narrow, meaning his short-term outlook is far from rosy.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' AJ Green: Scores 25 in return to G League
Green posted 25 points (11-17 FG, 3-8 3Pt), four rebounds and an assist in 32 minutes in Tuesday's 99-85 win over Birmingham. Green returned to Wisconsin on Tuesday after having spent the last two weeks playing with the Bucks. He has been a dominant force in the G League, averaging 20.3 points per game while making 50.4 percent of his shots and 45.0 percent of his three-pointers in eight games.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' AJ Green: Scores in double figures
Green supplied 10 points (4-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt) and one rebound in 14 minutes during Thursday's 142-101 loss to the Grizzlies. Green saw a sizeable uptick in playing time during the second half of Thursday's clash, as Milwaukee fell behind by a large margin and elected to wave the white flag early. The Northern Iowa product sits near the bottom of the Bucks' rotation, averaging 3.2 points in 5.9 minutes across 11 games this season.... See More ... See Less

Frank Madden@fmaddenNBA6D agoThe most consistent thing about Bucks/Celtics the last couple years is that the Celtics have absolutely no fear of the Bucks. They love playing the Bucks and it’s showing on the scoreboard again tonight.

Frank Madden@fmaddenNBA10D agoFantastic win for the Bucks on second night of B2B without Khris. Monster 4th from Giannis, Pat with huge shots to lead bench onslaught and Dame doing his thing too. Not sure how Dame/Beasley survived defending Luka/Kyrie in the 4th but…we’ll take it.
-
Frank Madden@fmaddenNBA10D agoThat might be the most baffling challenge I’ve ever seen simply because the Bucks wouldn’t have even gotten the ball regardless. Like if you want the flop technical they review that regardless right?
-
Frank Madden@fmaddenNBA14D agoI definitely don’t think we’ve seen enough to judge this version of Bucks yet — Dame will heat up, Khris will ramp up, and hopefully Brook/Pat settle in as well. They should be good regardless of coaching, but they’re not a lock for a top-2 seed like most assumed preseason.
