Queta finished with seven points (3-8 FG, 1-1 FT), 10 rebounds and one steal over 15 minutes during Sunday's 113-103 win over Atlanta. Kristaps Porzingis (calf) is expected to miss at least a week, so Al Horford started at center, and Queta picked up 15 minutes off the bench compared to nine minutes for Luke Kornet. Queta made a positive impact in just his second appearance of the season, and he may get more opportunities as a result.... See More ... See Less

Celtics' Neemias Queta: Makes season debut
Queta logged five minutes off the bench in Sunday's 102-100 win over the Grizzlies, missing his only field-goal attempt and grabbing two rebounds. Queta was sidelined for each of the Celtics' first 10 games with a right foot injury before he was finally cleared to play ahead of Wednesday's 117-107 win over the 76ers. He didn't play in that contest and also sat out Friday's 108-105 win over Toronto, but Queta got the chance to make his Boston debut Sunday in a narrow win. The seven-foot center will likely be an irregular part of the rotation moving forward, but with veteran Al Horford being a candidate to sit out the second half of a back-to-back set Monday in Charlotte, Queta and Luke Kornet could both be in line for minutes.... Celtics' Neemias Queta: Available Wednesday
Queta (foot) is available for Wednesday's game against the 76ers. Queta missed eight straight games due to a foot injury but will be available off the bench Wednesday. Even when he was healthy, he wasn't part of coach Joe Mazzulla's rotation, but it's possible Queta will see some playing time Wednesday, as Jaylen Brown (illness) and Kristaps Porzingis (knee) are both out.... Celtics' Neemias Queta: Iffy for Wednesday
Queta (foot) is questionable for Wednesday's game against Philadelphia, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports. Queta has missed eight straight games due to a right foot injury, but this is the first time he's been listed as questionable, suggesting he's making at least some improvement. However, even when he's cleared, it's unclear if he'll be part of coach Joe Mazzulla's rotation.... See More ... See Less -

Celtics' Neemias Queta: Remains out Saturday
Queta (foot) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Nets, Steve Hewitt of the Boston Herald reports. Queta continues to deal with a foot issue and will be unavailable for a third consecutive game. However, his continued absence shouldn't impact the Celtics' rotation.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Neemias Queta: Officially out
Queta (foot) won't play in Wednesday's game against Indiana, Sean Grande of NBC Sports Boston reports. Queta will miss a second consecutive contest with right foot soreness. He was not a part of the Celtics' rotation when healthy. His next chance to play will come Saturday at Brooklyn.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Neemias Queta: Doubtful for Wednesday
Queta (foot) is officially doubtful for Wednesday's game against Indiana. Queta is dealing with right foot soreness, which caused him to miss Monday's game against the Wizards. Luke Kornet has a firm grasp on third-string center minutes, so even when Queta is cleared, he doesn't have a clear path to playing time.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Neemias Queta: Unavailable Monday
Queta has been ruled out for Monday's game against Washington due to right foot soreness. Queta hasn't yet seen any playing time during the regular season, and he'll be unable to suit up Monday due to his foot injury. His next opportunity to play will be Wednesday against the Pacers.... Neemias Queta: Let go by Sacramento
The Kings waived Queta on Tuesday, Adrian Wojanowski of ESPN.com reports. Queta will part ways with Sacramento after signing a two-year deal with the team earlier this offseason. With Nerlens Noel also being released, Alex Len and JaVale McGee will likely compete for the backup center role behind Domantas Sabonis (thumb). Queta has made just 19 NBA appearances but was a standout for the Stockton Kings of the G League last season.... See More ... See Less -

Queta will not return to Monday's Summer League game against the Clippers due to right foot soreness, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports. Queta tallied two points, two rebounds, and two blocks in 10 minutes before exiting Monday's game early. His next chance to suit up is Tuesday's matchup with Chicago.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Neemias Queta: First action since 2022
Queta ended Sunday's 109-95 loss to Denver with zero points (0-1 FG), two rebounds and one block across four minutes. Queta got back into the rotation Sunday, seeing the court for the first time since late 2022. The Kings simply rolled all of their pieces out there for what was a meaningless game, providing Queta with quite possibly his last action for the season.... See More ... See Less -

Marc D'Amico@Marc_DAmico12H agoIt wasn't easy, and it was borderline ugly, but the Celtics found a way to gut out this win against Philly. Should it have been this close? Probably not. But great teams find a way to win games when they don't have anything close their best stuff, and Boston just did that.
