    Jones supplied 26 points (7-14 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 assists, seven rebounds and one steal across 42 minutes in Stockton's 106-104 overtime G League win over Rip City on Sunday. The Arkansas product is on quite a tear, having posted three straight 20-plus point efforts with at least four made three-pointers in each, and having dished out double-digit assists in five of the last six contests as well. Jones is now averaging 15.3 points, 7.9 assists and 4.5 rebounds across 31.8 minutes over 19 G League games.

  • Kings' Mason Jones: Transferred to NBA

    The Kings transferred Jones from the Stockton Kings of the G League on Wednesday, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports. Sacramento signed Jones to a two-way deal last Friday after he had spent the entire 2023-24 season with Stockton. He'll be available to make his Sacramento debut Wednesday against Denver.

    Jones agreed to a two-way contract with the Kings on Friday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Jones, 25, is back on an NBA roster for the first time since the 2021-22 season, when he appeared in four contests for the Lakers. He'll fill the two-way spot that was vacated by Keon Ellis, whom the Kings converted to a standard NBA contract. Jones had already been playing with the Kings' G League affiliate in Stockton this season, averaging 13.1 points (on 53.5 percent shooting from the field), 6.5 assists, 3.8 rebounds, 2.6 three-pointers and 0.8 steals in 29.4 minutes per game over 16 appearances.
