  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Strong effort in loss

Mobley contributed 24 points (8-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 7-9 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and two blocks across 37 minutes during Tuesday's 114-105 loss to Indiana in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Mobley and Donovan Mitchell were a couple of bright spots in an otherwise poor showing from the Cavaliers as the team was bounced from the postseason. As for the regular season, Mobley has plenty to be proud of. He appeared in 71 total games, shooting 55.7 percent from the field and 72.5 percent from the line with averages of 18.5 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.6 blocks and 0.9 steals. He also extended his range to the perimeter, hitting a career-high 1.2 three-pointers on a 37.0 percent clip. Next season, Mobley will be entering the first year of a five-year, $224 million contract.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Muted performance in loss

Mobley notched 10 points (3-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and one steal over 27 minutes during Sunday's 129-109 loss to Indiana in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Despite playing a team-high 27 minutes in Game 4, Mobley failed to make much of an impact on both ends of the floor. The 2025 NBA Defensive Player of the Year scored his second-lowest point total in these playoffs Sunday and may still be dealing with the lingering effects of the ankle injury he suffered in Game 2. Cleveland had no answer for a motivated and determined Indiana squad that took a 3-1 series lead.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Back in starting lineup

Mobley is in the Cavaliers' starting lineup in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Pacers on Friday. Mobley was unable to play in Game 2 on Tuesday due to a left ankle sprain, but he was able to do enough over the last two days to be cleared to play in Friday's pivotal contest. He has scored in double digits in his last four playoff games, averaging 19.0 points on 66.7 percent shooting (including 47.4 percent from three on 4.8 3PA/G), 7.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.3 steals over 31.3 minutes per game over that span.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Present at shootaround

Mobley (ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Friday's Game 3 against the Pacers, but was present during the Cavaliers' morning shootaround, Tony East of WTHR Channel 13 Indianapolis reports. Mobley, Darius Garland (toe) and De'Andre Hunter (thumb) were all present and got shots up after the practice, which wasn't the case ahead of Cleveland's Game 2 loss. Mobley posted 20 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals in 36 minutes during the 121-112 Game 1 loss but twisted his left ankle during the contest and is in danger of missing a second straight outing.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Iffy for Friday

Mobley (ankle) is deemed questionable for Friday's Game 3 against the Pacers, Evan Dammarell of DownEuclid.com reports. Mobley is in danger of missing his second straight contest Friday due to a sprained left ankle he suffered in Game 1. If Mobley is downgraded to out yet again, Dean Wade may draw another start in his absence.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Ruled out Tuesday

Mobley (ankle) has been ruled out for Tuesday's Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Pacers, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. The star forward sprained his left ankle in Sunday's Game 1 loss, during which he posted 20 points (9-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt), 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals in 36 minutes. Dean Wade, Isaac Okoro and Javonte Green are all candidates for an uptick in minutes due to Mobley and De'Andre Hunter being sidelined. Mobley's next chance to suit up will come in Game 3 on Friday.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Questionable for Game 2

Mobley (ankle) has been listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Pacers, Evan Dammarell of DownEuclid.com reports. Mobley tweaked his left ankle in Game 1 Sunday, leading to concern about his status for the rest of this first-round series. The reigning NBA Defensive Player of the Year recorded a double-double during his 36 minutes on the floor, finishing with 20 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals. He can't play in Game 2, Cleveland will likely turn to Dean Wade to help shoulder the load in the frontcourt.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Strong double-double despite loss

Mobley amassed 20 points (9-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt), 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals in 36 minutes during Sunday's 121-112 loss to Indiana in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Mobley recorded his first double-double of the postseason, albeit in a losing effort. It wasn't the result Cleveland was hoping for, having now lost homecourt advantage. The Cavaliers will now have to regroup prior to Game 2 on Tuesday, hoping to even the series before heading to Indiana.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Plays well in 23 minutes

Mobley amassed 17 points (6-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal in 23 minutes during Monday's 138-83 win over the Heat in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. The low workload is certainly nothing to be alarmed about, as the Cavaliers had this game pretty much wrapped up during the second quarter. Mobley finished this series with averages of 16.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.8 blocks and 0.8 steals.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Muted performance in win

Mobley supplied nine points (4-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt), seven rebounds and one assist over 33 minutes during Sunday's 121-100 win over Miami in Game 1 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Cleveland's backcourt dominated this game, while Mobley and Jarrett Allen combined to score 21 points. Mobley is coming off a terrific regular season, appearing in 72 games with averages of 18.4 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.6 blocks and 1.2 three-pointers on 55.6 percent shooting from the field.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Suiting up in series opener

Mobley (back) is not on the injury report for Game 1 against the Heat on Sunday. The All-Star forward didn't play in the regular-season finale against the Pacers, but he should be ready to handle his regular workload in the playoffs opener. Mobley averaged 18.5 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.6 blocks and 0.9 steals per game across 71 contests in the regular season.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Won't play Sunday

Mobley won't play Sunday against the Pacers due to low back soreness. Mobley recorded a 16-point, 10-rebound double-double against the Knicks on Friday, and the star forward, who earned an All-Star nod for the first time in his career this season, won't be available for the season finale. That way, he'll end his breakout year with averages of 18.5 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.6 blocks and 0.9 steals per game across 71 contests. Mobley will have almost an entire week to rest before the start of the 2025 NBA Playoffs on April 19.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Not playing Thursday

Mobley is out for Thursday's game against the Pacers due to rest, Evan Dammarell of DownEuclid.com reports. The Cavaliers are already locked into the one seed and are thinking about the playoffs, so it makes sense for them to rest most of their star players during the final regular-season games. Mobley's next chance to play will come against the Knicks on Friday, the team's second-to-last matchup before the postseason.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Tallies 20-10 double-double in win

Mobley ended Tuesday's 135-113 win over Chicago with 21 points (8-18 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 12 rebounds, seven assists, one block and two steals over 29 minutes. Mobley put forth a well-rounded performance in Tuesday's contest, leading all players in rebounds and assists while posting the lone double-double of the contest in a winning effort. Mobley has recorded at least 20 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in nine outings this season, including in two of his last three performances.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Stuffs stat sheet Sunday

Mobley had 16 points (7-14 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-5 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, two blocks and three steals over 33 minutes during Sunday's 120-113 loss to the Kings. Mobley stuffed the stat sheet Sunday, leading the Cavaliers in swats and swipes. Over his last nine appearances, the All-Star big man has averaged 18.2 points, 9.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 2.2 blocks, 0.8 steals and 1.8 three-pointers in 31.8 minutes while shooting 52.9 percent from the floor. Mobley is converting just 64.5 percent of his free-throw attempts during this interval, which has been about the only shortcoming that's prevented him from being a complete nine-category fantasy superstar in 2024-25.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Big double-double against Spurs

Mobley racked up 25 points (10-13 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds, five assists, three blocks and one steal over 37 minutes during Friday's 114-113 victory over San Antonio. It was Mobley's 35th double-double of the season, but the fourth-year big's defensive contributions have stood out of late. Over his last seven appearances, Mobley has averaged 16.7 points, 9.1 boards, 3.9 assists, 2.6 blocks, and 1.7 threes, and he's recorded multiple rejections six times during that stretch.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Poor shooting display

Mobley ended Friday's 133-122 loss to the Pistons with nine points (3-10 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, four assists and two blocks across 33 minutes. Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland posted solid numbers across the board in this loss Friday, but Mobley was one player who disappointed. The star forward had a rough showing on offense, and he also failed to make an impact in secondary categories, with perhaps the two blocks being the only figure that stood out from his overall fantasy line. Mobley is having a career-best season in 2024-25, but he's been turning things in the opposite direction of late. He's failed to reach the 20-point mark in four of his last six appearances, a span in which he's averaging 17.5 points per game while shooting 34.8 percent from three-point range.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Not on injury report Friday

Mobley (rest) is off the injury report for Friday's game against the Pistons. Mobley will play in the second half of the club's back-to-back set after receiving the night off during Thursday's win over San Antonio. The star forward has averaged 19.2 points, 9.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.8 blocks across 29.6 minutes per game over his last five appearances. In that five-game span, Mobley has shot 56.5 percent from the field and 35.3 percent from beyond the arc.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Resting Thursday against Spurs

Mobley (rest) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against San Antonio. Thursday marks the first game of a back-to-back set for the Cavaliers. Mobley will be sidelined while resting through lingering lower body injuries that he has dealt with since the All-Star break, but he should take to the floor against the Pistons on Friday. De'Andre Hunter and Dean Wade are the top candidates to enter the Cavaliers' starting lineup in Mobley's absence.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Posts massive line

Mobley finished with 21 points (8-15 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists and four blocks over 33 minutes during Tuesday's 122-111 win over the Trail Blazers. Mobley picked up his 34th double-double of the campaign, and this was his fourth game with at least four blocks. With Donovan Mitchell (groin) sidelined Tuesday, Mobley fared well as one of the focal points of the offense. In 64 regular-season appearances, Mobley is on pace to return third-round value in nine-category formats with 18.7 points, 9.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.6 blocks and 1.1 three-pointers per game.
