Nuggets' Peyton Watson: Likely to play Friday
Watson (illness) is probable for Friday's game against the Suns.
Watson continues to deal with a non-COVID illness, but he played through the issue Wednesday against Houston and will likely be able to do so again Friday. However, his role will likely depend on whether Aaron Gordon (heel) is cleared to suit up.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Questionable Friday
Gordon (heel) is questionable for Friday's matchup against the Suns.
Gordon has missed the past three games as a result of the strained right heel. He may be on a minutes limit if he returns. Jamal Murray (ankle) is also questionable.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Questionable at Phoenix
Murray is questionable for Friday's matchup at the Suns due to a sprained right ankle.
On Wednesday, Murray returned from an 11-game absence due to a hamstring injury. He had a quality outing, posting 16 points (4-14 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 5-5 FT), six rebounds and six assists in 22 minutes with no turnovers in the win over the Rockets. However, he sprained his right ankle in the process and now may need to sit out again. Reggie Jackson should rejoin the starters if Murray cannot play.

Nuggets' Justin Holiday: Another quality outing
Holiday racked up 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-5 3Pt), three rebounds, four assists and two steals in 27 minutes during Wednesday's 134-124 victory over the Rockets.
Holiday has now made three consecutive starts for Denver with Aaron Gordon (heel) out. The veteran forward is averaging 9.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.3 steals in 29.3 minutes over that span. Holiday is also shooting 55.0 percent from the field and 46.2 percent on 4.3 three-point attempts across those three contests.

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Records another triple-double
Jokic finished with 32 points (12-19 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 7-8 FT), 10 rebounds, 15 assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 134-124 win over the Rockets.
Jokic dished out 15 assists in the return of Jamal Murray to the starting unit. The star big man continues to dazzle every time he steps on the court, and the best way to translate his dominance is the fact that he's already racked up seven triple-doubles and 10 double-doubles in 18 appearances.

Nuggets' Michael Porter: Scores season-high 30 points
Porter closed Wednesday's 134-124 win over the Rockets with 30 points (11-17 FG, 7-12 3Pt, 1-3 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists and one steal across 34 minutes.
Porter was impressive Wednesday and was one of the main reasons why the Nuggets escaped with the victory in this tight contest. He made his presence felt on both ends of the court, was efficient with his shot, and registered his fifth double-double of the season. Porter has been scorching hot of late after recording his ninth straight game with 20 or more points, and he's averaging 24.3 points per contest while shooting 55.9 percent from the field and 48.8 percent from deep in that span.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Struggles from field in return
Murray (hamstring) closed with 16 points (4-14 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 5-5 FT), six rebounds and six assists across 22 minutes during Wednesday's 134-124 win over the Rockets.
On the surface, Murray had a decent showing against Houston, especially when considering he hadn't played since Nov. 4 due to a nagging hamstring injury that kept him out for 11 straight games. The Nuggets kept Murray's playing time in check in his return from a three-and-a-half-week absence, but the 26-year-old probably only needs another game or two to get fully ramped up. Murray's return to the lineup is expected to most negatively affect Reggie Jackson, who moved to the bench and finished with 14 points in 24 minutes after erupting for a season-high 35 points over 40 minutes in the Nuggets' previous game Monday against the Clippers.

Nuggets' DeAndre Jordan: Shifting back to bench
Jordan won't start Wednesday's game against the Rockets.
Jordan will rejoin the reserves for Wednesday's tilt since Nikola Jokic (back) is healthy after a one-game absence. Considering Jordan has appeared in merely three games this season, he should handle a limited role for the contest.

Nuggets' Reggie Jackson: Coming off bench
Jackson won't start Wednesday's game against the Rockets.
After erupting for 35 points and 13 assists as a starter in Monday's win, Jackson will return to his typical reserve role with Jamal Murray (hamstring) healthy. In seven appearances with the second unit, Jackson is averaging 8.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.7 steals/blocks over 21.5 minutes.

Nuggets' Hunter Tyson: Cleared for action Wednesday
Tyson (illness) will play in Wednesday's game against the Rockets.
Tyson will return from a one-game absence due to a non-COVID illness. Considering the Nuggets will be missing only Aaron Gordon on Wednesday, Tyson will likely be a fantasy non-factor.

Nuggets' Peyton Watson: Good to go Wednesday
Watson (illness) is available for Wednesday's game versus the Rockets.
Watson has been upgraded from probable to available Wednesday despite dealing with a non-COVID illness. With Aaron Gordon (heel) out, Watson should continue to receive extended playing time.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Returning to face Rockets
Murray (hamstring) will play in Wednesday's game against Houston, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Murray will make his long-awaited return after missing 11 games with a right hamstring strain. While it's likely Murray will be under some sort of restrictions, he should be expected to replace Reggie Jackson in the first unit for Wednesday's tilt. In the seven games he's played, Murray has averaged 16.3 points, 7.4 assists and 2.6 rebounds over 30.9 minutes.

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Suiting up Wednesday
Jokic (back) will play in Wednesday's game against the Rockets, Vinny Benedetto of The Denver Gazette reports.
Jokic will return from a one-game absence due to back soreness for Wednesday's tilt. He'll likely supplant DeAndre Jordan in the first five. Over his last three outings, Jokic is averaging 35.7 points, 14.3 rebounds, 9.7 assists and 3.0 steals/blocks across 37.6 minutes.

Nuggets' Hunter Tyson: Iffy for Wednesday
Tyson (illness) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Rockets.
Tyson is in danger of missing his second straight contest due to a non-COVID illness. However, the rookie forward's potential absence shouldn't impact Denver's rotation.

Nuggets' Peyton Watson: Expected to play against Houston
Watson (illness) is listed as probable for Wednesday's game versus the Rockets.
Watson has been dealing with a non-COVID illness but has suited up in five straight games. The second-year forward has averaged 3.6 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 1.0 assists in 15.0 minutes during that stretch.
