Timberwolves' Julius Randle: Scores team-high 20 points Friday
Randle chipped in 20 points (7-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, five assists and two steals in 25 minutes during Friday's 134-93 victory over New Orleans.
Anthony Edwards didn't have his best performance Friday, so Randle stepped up and led Minnesota in scoring in this blowout win. The star forward, who was efficient in missing just four of his 11 shots from the floor, also reached the 20-point mark for the third time over his last six appearances. Randle didn't log a single minute in February while rehabbing from a groin injury, but he's averaging a solid line of 18.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game in 11 outings since the beginning of March.

Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Subpar display Friday
Edwards registered 17 points (6-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, five assists and two steals in 26 minutes during Friday's 134-93 victory over the Pelicans.
Edwards was bothered by an apparent thigh injury that forced him to exit the contest briefly, but overall, this wasn't the best performance for the superstar guard. However, this was the first time Edwards didn't reach the 25-point threshold since March 7, and the star scorer is simply too talented to struggle over a prolonged stretch. Fantasy managers shouldn't be worried by just one bad game for one of the most prolific scorers in The Association.

Timberwolves' Joe Ingles: Scoreless in spot start
Ingles contributed zero points (0-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and one assist over six minutes during Friday's 134-93 victory over the Pelicans.
Ingles got the start Friday, so that his family, who was visiting Minnesota at the time, could see him play. However, he didn't deliver a decent line for fantasy purposes, and the veteran isn't expected to play a significant role in the rotation going forward. As such, Ingles should remain on waivers across all formats.

Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Returns to action
Edwards appeared to suffer a thigh injury during Friday's game but has returned to the floor, Chris Hine of the Minnesota Star Tribune reports.
Edwards had a bit of an injury scare during Friday's game against the Pelicans but was able to return to the game. The superstar guard currently has 15 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals in 22 minutes on the floor for Minnesota.

Timberwolves' Joe Ingles: Will start vs. New Orleans
Ingles will be in the starting lineup for the Timberwolves on Friday against the Pelicans.
Ingles will be a starter for Minnesota for the first time Friday. The 37-year-old hasn't seen the floor much this season, playing 6.0 minutes per game. However, this will be a special occasion with Ingles' family in attendance and head coach Chris Finch ensuring they can watch him play right out of the gate, Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reports.

DiVincenzo accumulated 11 points (4-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one steal over 24 minutes during Wednesday's 119-115 loss to New Orleans.
DiVincenzo finished just three rebounds away from recording what would've been his first double-double since Jan. 11, but even if he's not filling the stat sheet, he's doing an excellent job of scoring the rock. This was DiVincenzo's 11th consecutive game in double digits, a span in which he's averaging 14.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.5 steals per game.

Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Scores 29 despite shooting woes
Edwards closed Wednesday's 119-115 loss to New Orleans with 29 points (5-19 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 15-17 FT), six rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 38 minutes.
Edwards finished with a loaded stat line, though his ability to get to the charity stripe was what saved him in this one -- he scored more than 50 percent of his total scoring haul with free throws while shooting nearly 25 percent from the floor. The Timberwolves won't be successful if Edwards continues to struggle from the floor, although this might have been a one-off situation. Over his last five outings, Edwards is making 44.1 percent of his shots from the floor.

Randle has been remarkably consistent as the Timberwolves' second scoring option behind Anthony Edwards, and he's surpassed the 15-point mark seven times over his 10 appearances in March. He has only three double-doubles in that stretch, but Randle will remain valuable in fantasy if he stays healthy due to his ability to impact the game in more than one way.

Alexander-Walker totaled eight points (4-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt), nine rebounds and three assists in 27 minutes in Monday's 132-130 overtime loss to the Pacers.
Alexander-Walker was effective on the floor Monday, making shots in the paint and hustling for rebounds. An early ejection of Rudy Gobert shortened the Timberwolves bench, which contributed to the 26-year-old playing his most minutes since March 5. In nine games in March, Alexander-Walker is averaging 8.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 23.6 minutes per game.

Randle has been scoring in double digits on a regular basis, and his numbers back him up as the second-best option on offense behind Anthony Edwards. The uptick in efficiency has been noticeable since his return to the hardwood March 2. Over nine contests this month, Randle is averaging 18.1 points, 6.8 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game while shooting an impressive 50.5 percent from the floor.

DiVincenzo registered 19 points (7-16 FG, 5-11 3Pt), three rebounds, three assists and two steals in 32 minutes during Monday's 132-130 overtime loss to the Pacers.
With Mike Conley (rest) back in action, DiVincenzo operated off the bench, but he has scored in double digits in every game since the beginning of March despite starting just two times over that stretch. DiVincenzo is averaging 15.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.4 steals per game over nine March appearances.

Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Goes for 38 points in OT win
Edwards finished Monday's 132-130 overtime loss to Indiana with 38 points (9-24 FG, 1-11 3Pt, 19-20 FT), three rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals over 41 minutes.
Edwards is firmly entrenched as the Timberwolves' go-to option on offense, and even though he had a woeful showing from the efficient perspective, his offensive volume allowed him to surpass the 35-point mark for the 15th time this season. Edwards is averaging 29.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game since the beginning of March, and while there will be games in which he'll struggle from an efficiency standpoint, he has enough volume on a game-to-game basis so fantasy managers should continue to trust in him with the fantasy playoffs just around the corner.

Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Exits early Monday
Gobert was ejected from Monday's game against the Pacers after being assessed a Flagrant 2 foul, Alex Golden of the 'Setting the Pace' podcast reports. He registered three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist and three blocks in 22 minutes before departing.
Gobert was tossed midway through the third quarter after getting into an altercation with Andrew Nembhard, who was hit with his second technical and also ejected. It'll be up to Naz Reid and Luka Garza to fill in at center the rest of the way.
