Cutler looks super-pumped about throwing out the first pitch at Wrigley Saturday. (US PRESSWIRE) |
While Bears running back Matt Forte spends the weekend hammering out the details for what he hopes is a long-term contract, his backfield mate, franchise quarterback Jay Cutler, took in a Cubs game at Wrigley Field Saturday afternoon. But unlike everyone else, Cutler not only got to throw out the first pitch, he also led the crowd in a rousing rendition of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame."
And by rousing we of course mean something much less than that. Put another way: If you were to translate Cutler's performance into football terms, it would be Tyler Palko. Either way, credit to the guy for putting himself out there.
