Martavis Bryant: Let go by Washington
The Commanders are slated to release Bryant on Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Bryant spent time with the Cowboys earlier this offseason then got an opportunity to continue pursuing an NFL comeback when Washington inked him in mid-August. Though the veteran wideout scored a TD in the Commanders' preseason finale, he couldn't do enough to secure a spot on the team's initial 53-man roster. The 32-year-old could still be a candidate to resurface on Washington's practice squad.

Commanders' Martavis Bryant: Signs with Commanders
Bryant signed with the Commanders on Tuesday.
The Cowboys signed Bryant to their practice squad in November, shortly after he was reinstated from an NFL suspension. He then signed a futures contract in January, only to be released in May before the start of offseason practices. The 32-year-old wideout last played in a regular-season game in 2018, making him unlikely to earn a significant role in Washington even though the team has a need at wide receiver behind No. 1 target Terry McLaurin.

Martavis Bryant: Let go by Dallas
The Cowboys informed Bryant on Wednesday that he will be released, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Bryant, who last suited up for an NFL game in 2018 with the Raiders, signed a reserve/future contract with Dallas earlier this offseason but will now have to search for an opportunity to reignite his career elsewhere. His release won't result in any dead money against the salary cap for the Cowboys, per Gehlken.

The Cowboys signed Bryant to a reserve/future contract Wednesday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Bryant spent roughly two months on the Cowboys' practice squad to close out the 2023 season. He hasn't played in an NFL game since 2018 with the Raiders, but the 32-year-old has been playing spring football the last couple years in an attempt to make a comeback. He'll try to impress in spring workouts with Dallas.

Martavis Bryant: Gets let go
Bryant was cut from the Cowboys' practice squad Thursday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Bryant joined the Dallas organization days after his indefinite suspension was lifted by the NFL on Nov. 7, but he never made it to the 53-man roster. His departure comes as the team added La'el Collins and Damien Wilson to the practice squad. Those moves put the team over the six-veteran limit on the unit, rendering Bryant the odd man out.
