Texans' Robert Woods: Questionable after another 'DNP'
Woods (hip) is listed as questionable for Saturday's divisional-round game against the Chiefs.
Woods was listed as a non-participant in practice Tuesday through Thursday, which clouds his status for the Texans' 4:30 p.m. ET kickoff Saturday. If Woods is unavailable versus Kansas City, added snaps would be available for John Metchie and Xavier Hutchinson behind top wideout Nico Collins.

Texans' Robert Woods: Misses practice again
Woods (hip) didn't practice Wednesday.
Woods has now had two straight absences from practice this week, making Thursday's session a critical one in determining his odds of playing in Saturday's divisional-round game against the Chiefs. If the veteran wideout is sidelined this weekend, added snaps could be available for John Metchie and Xavier Hutchinson behind No. 1 receiver Nico Collins.

Texans' Robert Woods: Misses practice with hip injury
Woods (hip) didn't participate in Tuesday's practice.
Woods logged 51 percent of the offensive snaps in last Saturday's wild-card win over the Chargers, finishing with a 2-22-0 receiving line on four targets. With Woods dinged up and the Texans cutting Diontae Johnson earlier Tuesday, John Metchie and Xavier Hutchinson could be in line for even bigger roles behind Nico Collins in Saturday's divisional-round tilt against Kansas City.

Texans' Robert Woods: Significant run in playoff win
Woods caught two of four targets for 22 yards and returned one punt for 10 yards in Houston's 32-12 win over the Chargers in Saturday's wild-card round game.
Woods was part of the Texans' top three wideouts, had a red-zone target, and was on the field for 37 snaps. That snap count tied him with John Metchie behind Nico Collins' 64. Largely an irrelevant figure on game days for much of the season, Woods' profile rose with the injuries to Stefon Diggs (knee) and Tank Dell (knee). The 35-year-old finished the regular season with career lows in catches (20) and yards (203) while never breaking out his touchdown dance for the first time in his 12 NFL seasons. He'll enter the offseason as an unrestricted free agent, and it's unlikely a team will sign him to be any more than a depth piece/returner at this stage of his career. Woods accepted his role as veteran mentor in Houston and could always return to the Texans.

Texans' Robert Woods: Paces receivers Week 18
Woods caught two of three targets for a team-high 39 yards in Sunday's 23-14 win over Tennessee in Week 18.
Woods received extra playing time as the Texans limited Nico Collins in the regular-season finale. Houston heads into the postseason with season-ending injuries to key contributors at wide receiver -- Stefon Diggs (knee) and Tank Dell (knee) -- and an uncertain status for John Metchie (concussion). Whether Metchie is available or not for next Saturday's home playoff game against the Chargers, Woods will be part of the top three wideouts. The 32-year-old Woods finished the regular season with career lows in receptions (20), targets (30), yards (203) and catches of more than 20 yards (one).

Texans' Robert Woods: Two grabs in loss
Woods caught both of his targets for 21 yards in Wednesday's 31-2 loss to Baltimore in Week 17.
Woods had the fourth-most snaps (21) among wide receivers, as the return of John Metchie from a shoulder injury pushed the 12-year veteran further down the depth chart. The Texans will operate without both Tank Dell (knee) and Stefon Diggs (knee) for the regular-season finale and through the postseason, when Woods' experience could be useful.

Texans' Robert Woods: Ramped-up usage in loss
Woods caught three of six targets for 19 yards and returned one kickoff for 31 yards in Saturday's 27-19 loss to the Chiefs in Week 16.
Woods was on the field for a season-high 34 offensive snaps, a bump in activity due to an injury to Tank Dell (kneecap). The Texans have clinched a playoff spot but will be without Stefon Diggs (knee) and potentially Dell in the postseason, which creates an opportunity for Woods. It should be noted that John Metchie (shoulder) was inactive for Saturday's game; he moved ahead of Woods on the depth chart as a result of the Diggs' injury in Week 8.

Texans' Robert Woods: Two touches in win
Woods caught both of his targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 20-12 win over Miami.
Woods had the third-most snaps (24) among wide receivers, but his production was similar to previous weeks. After Nico Collins and Tank Dell, Woods is looking for leftovers along with John Metchie (21 snaps, four targets) and Xavier Hutchinson (eight, one). Woods has caught 13 of 19 targets on the season for 124 yards and zero touchdowns.
