Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Estimated as limited in practice
Evans (collarbone) was listed as a limited participant on Monday's practice estimate, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.
The wideout hasn't played since suffering a broken collarbone on Oct. 20, but coach Todd Bowles noted Monday that both Evans and Jalen McMillan (neck) are in play to potentially return to action Thursday night against the Falcons, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Look for added context regarding the duo's Week 15 status to arrive in conjunction with Tuesday's practice/injury report.

Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Pushing for Week 15 return
Evans (collarbone) will remain out for Sunday's game against the Saints but is pushing to return from injured reserve and could be activated ahead of next Thursday's contest versus the Falcons, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Though he'll be sidelined for a sixth consecutive game this weekend, Evans took a major step forward in his recovery from a broken clavicle by returning to practice this week. He was a limited participant throughout the week, so Evans may need to upgrade to full participation at some point during the Buccaneers' shortened Week 15 prep period to boost his odds of suiting up against Atlanta. If Evans doesn't make enough progress to play next week, a return to action Week 16 versus the Panthers on Dec. 21 would be a realistic target for the veteran receiver.

Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Won't play this week
Evans (collarbone) will not play Sunday against the Saints, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Evans returned to practice Wednesday after missing six weeks with a broken collarbone. He never seemed likely to play this week but might have a chance four days later for a Thursday home game against Atlanta. If not, Evans should at least be back for the Week 16 contest at Carolina on Sunday, Dec. 21. With Jalen McMillan (neck, IR) also out for at least one more game, Tampa's top wide receivers are Emeka Egbuka, Chris Godwin, Tez Johnson and Sterling Shepard.

Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Stays limited in practice
Evans (collarbone) was limited at Thursday's practice.
Evans maintained his activity level from Wednesday's walkthrough as he seeks his first game action since he sustained a broken collarbone Week 7 at Detroit. The Buccaneers opened up his practice window to return from injured reserve Wednesday, after which coach Todd Bowles told Brianna Dix of the team's official site, "Physically, he is fine. He's been running and everything. ... We have to see him in the football atmosphere, running routes pattern-wise. He has to get acclimated to that, so it will be good to see him tomorrow." Evans' limited session one day later indicates he has some work to do to prove his health, and Friday's injury report will provide insight into his potential to return Sunday against the Saints. Fellow WR Jalen McMillan (neck) also was designated for return from IR this week and has been limited like Evans, so both of them seemingly have a chance to play this weekend.

Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Designated to return to practice
The Buccaneers are designating Evans (collarbone) to return from IR, and he'll practice Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Evans suffered a broken collarbone during a game against Detroit on Oct. 20, and he was subsequently placed on IR. Just over six weeks later, the veteran wideout has been medically cleared to return to practice. While Evans can now begin to ramp up as a practice participant toward a return to game action, he's far from certain to be activated in time for Sunday's matchup versus the Saints. Still, this is very promising news for Tampa Bay's passing game, which will see WR Jalen McMillan (neck, IR) also return to practice Wednesday, per Rapoport.

Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Limited at walkthrough
Evans (collarbone) was limited at Wednesday's walkthrough.
The Buccaneers designated Evans for return from injured reserve earlier Wednesday, and coach Todd Bowles spoke on the wide receiver's current level of health, telling Brianna Dix of the team's official site, "Physically, he is fine. He's been running and everything. ... We have to see him in the football atmosphere, running routes pattern-wise. He has to get acclimated to that, so it will be good to see him tomorrow." That seems to indicate Tampa Bay has an official practice on deck Thursday, after which the team seemingly will have a better read on Evans' status. As for the rest of the offense, all of QB Baker Mayfield (left shoulder), RB Bucky Irving (shoulder) and WRs Chris Godwin (fibula) and Jalen McMillan (neck, IR) were limited participants to begin Week 14 prep.

Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Could return to practice this week
Coach Todd Bowles said Monday that Evans (collarbone) could begin practicing this week, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.
Evans is eligible to come off injured reserve at any moment, but it doesn't sound like a return to game action is in the cards for Week 14 against the Saints. Bowles said Monday that both Evans and Jalen McMillan (neck) "have a little ways to go before playing," according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times. Tampa Bay hosts New Orleans next Sunday before then having a quick Week 15 turnaround ahead of a date with the Falcons on Thursday, Dec. 11. Perhaps a Week 16 return versus Carolina would make the most sense for both wideouts.
