  • Dolphins' Zach Sieler: Another double-digit-sack season

Sieler made 55 tackles (28 solo), including 10.0 sacks, across 15 regular-season appearances with the Dolphins in 2024. He also had two passes defensed, including one interception, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. Sieler has now logged back-to-back seasons with exactly 10.0 sacks, despite some concerns that the offseason departure of Christian Wilkins (foot) would impact his ability to efficiently rush the passer. The 29-year-old is one of Miami's few true defensive standouts, so although the team has a potential 'out' on a contract that has two years remaining, the Dolphins will be incentivized to figure out a way to keep Sieler in house.

  • Dolphins' Jalen Ramsey: Plays all 17 games in 2024

Ramsey racked up 60 tackles (39 solo), including 1.0 sacks, across 17 regular-season games with the Dolphins in 2024. He also had 11 passes defensed, including two interceptions. Ramsey was one of the few stalwart members of Miami's defense during the 2024 campaign, in which he suited up for all of the Dolphins' regular-season games despite entering the year with a hamstring injury. The 30-year-old cornerback remains under contract through 2028, though Miami has a potential 'out' in his contract after the 2025 campaign.

  • Dolphins' Anthony Walker: Tallies 68 stops in 2024

Walker (knee) racked up 68 tackles (34 solo), including 1.0 sacks and two passes defensed (including one interception) across 14 regular-season appearances with the Dolphins in 2024. Walker valued into a starting role on defense Week 9, coinciding with the Dolphins' decision to move on from David Long, and gained brief fantasy value in deeper IDP formats as a result of his every-down gig. He missed Miami's final two regular-season contests due to a knee injury, however. The 29-year-old veteran is set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

  • Dolphins' Duke Riley: Confined to depth role in 2024

Riley notched 11 tackles (five solo) across 17 regular-season appearances with the Dolphins in 2024. Riley missed only one regular-season contest across his four years with Miami, but his production declined in 2024, as he was called upon for just 42 total defensive snaps. The 2017 third-round pick's only year with a lower tackle total came back in 2019 as a member of the Falcons, when he suited up for just four games. Riley is slated to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

  • Dolphins' Cam Smith: Struggles in Year 2

Smith (shoulder) who ended the 2024 campaign on IR, tallied just 16 tackles (13 solo) across six regular-season appearances. Smith began the year on IR due to a hamstring injury sustained back in July, then had his season come to an early end due to a dislocated left shoulder. The 2023 second-round pick will work to get fully healthy and progress in his development this offseason, but it's difficult to imagine him carving out more than a rotational role at cornerback for the 2025 campaign.

  • Dolphins' Benito Jones: Plays 17 games for Miami

Jones racked up 24 tackles (nine solo) across 17 regular-season appearances with the Dolphins in 2024. Jones has now suited up for all 17 regular-season games for three straight years, including his inaugural campaign with Miami. Now slated to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, Jones could look to catch on as a reliable rotational contributor on defense for another club.

  • Dolphins' Chop Robinson: Logs 6.0 sacks in rookie season

Robinson registered 26 tackles (16 solo), including 6.0 sacks, and four pass defenses across 17 regular-season games in 2024. Robinson was Miami's first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, and he made an immediate impact for a Dolphins' defense that lost Jaelan Phillips (knee) after Week 4 and didn't have Bradley Chubb (knee) play in a single regular-season game. Robinson finished second on the team in sacks behind Zach Sieler (10.0), and the former finished second among NFL rookies in that category behind the Rams' Braden Fiske (8.5). Robinson earned a spot on ESPN's Ben Solak's 2024 NFL All-Rookie Team, and the Penn State product will look to carry that momentum into the 2025 campaign.

  • Dolphins' Quinton Bell: Earns consistent role with Miami

Bell finished the 2024 regular season with 27 tackles (16 solo), including 1.0 sacks, one pass defense and one forced fumble across 17 games. Before the start of the 2024 campaign, Bell had played in 10 regular-season games since being selected by the Raiders in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Bell ended up playing 619 snaps across 17 games in 2024, and while the majority of those came on special teams, he did earn a rotational role at linebacker due to injuries to Jaelan Phillips (knee), Tyus Bowser (knee) and others. Bell is a restricted free agent, which means the Dolphins have the ability to match any offer that another team makes for the linebacker's services.

  • Dolphins' Da'Shawn Hand: Career-high 31 tackles in 2024

Hand played in all 17 regular-season games in 2024 and finished with 31 tackles (20 solo), including 1.0 sacks, one pass defense, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. Hand spent most of the 2024 season in a rotational role at defensive end behind starters Calais Campbell and Zach Sieler. Hand registered career highs in defensive snaps (532) and total tackles (31) and was able to play in every single regular-season game. The 2018 fourth-round pick will be an unrestricted free agent in the offseason, and he could look to join an organization that can offer him a bigger role with the first-team defense.

  • Dolphins' Storm Duck: Three starts in rookie season

Duck finished the 2024 regular season with 35 tackles (24 solo) and four pass defenses across 14 games. Duck signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Louisville in May of 2024. He earned a spot on the 53-man roster after a strong showing in training camp, and he managed to see meaningful playing time with the Dolphins' first-team defense due to injuries to Cam Smith (shoulder) and Kendall Fuller (knee). With Fuller and Jalen Ramsey projected to be the Dolphins' outside corners in 2025, Duck will likely revert to a special-teams role in 2025, though he could compete with Kader Kohou for the starting slot corner job.

  • Dolphins' Tyrel Dodson: Reduced role in Miami

Dodson played in 17 regular-season games in 2024 -- nine with Seattle, eight with Miami -- and finished with 107 tackles (59 solo), including 2.0 sacks, six pass defenses (three interceptions) and one forced fumble. Dodson signed a one-year, $4.26 million contract with the Seahawks in March. He logged 71 combined tackles through nine games with Seattle, but he was waived Nov. 11 due to the Seahawks' acquisition of Ernest Jones from the Titans and the rise of rookie fourth-rounder Tyrice Knight. Dodson was claimed off waivers by the Dolphins one day later, and his role with Miami's first-team defense fluctuated, though he did register a career-high 15 tackles against the Browns in Week 17. Dodson will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and he'll look to join a team who can promise him a more consistent role on defense.

  • Dolphins' Kader Kohou: Two interceptions in 2024

Kohou played in 15 regular-season games in 2024 and finished with 45 tackles (33 solo), eight pass defenses (two interceptions), one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. Kohou served as the slot corner for Miami's defense for most of the 2024 season while Jalen Ramsey and Kendall Fuller (knee) played on the outside. Kohou enters the 2025 offseason as a restricted free agent, which means the Dolphins have the ability to match any offer that another team makes for the third-year corner.

  • Dolphins' Emmanuel Ogbah: Five sacks in 2024

Ogbah finished the 2024 regular season with 49 tackles (27 solo), including 5.0 sacks, two pass defenses (including one interception) and one forced fumble across 16 games. Ogbah tied veteran Calais Campbell for third-most sacks on the Dolphins behind Zach Sieler (10.0) and Chop Robinson (6.0). Ogbah has logged 5.0 sacks in back-to-back seasons, and his 49 combined tackles were his most since his rookie year in 2016 with the Browns (53). Ogbah enters the offseason as an unrestricted free agent and should draw plenty of interest from teams looking for a veteran pass rusher.

  • Dolphins' Kendall Fuller: Ends 2024 on injured reserve

Fuller (knee) played in 11 regular-season games in 2024 and finished with 50 tackles (37 solo), seven pass defenses and one fumble recovery. Fuller signed a two-year, $16.5 million contract with Miami in March after spending the last four seasons with Washington. Four of the six games he missed were due to a concussion, and he was placed on injured reserve in late December due to a knee injury he suffered against the 49ers in Week 16. Assuming he's healthy, Fuller is expected to serve as the Dolphins' starting outside corner for the 2025 campaign opposite All-Pro Jalen Ramsey.

  • Dolphins' Calais Campbell: Finishes 2024 with Miami

Campbell played in all 17 regular-season games in 2024 and finished with with 52 tackles (35 solo), including 5.0 sacks, five pass defenses and one forced fumble. Campbell signed a one-year, $2 million contract with the Dolphins in June after playing for the Falcons in 2023, and the veteran defensive lineman finished tied with Emmanuel Ogbah for third-most sacks on Miami behind Zach Sieler (10.0) and Chop Robinson (6.0). There were rumors towards the end of the regular season that the Dolphins would waive Campbell in order for him to sign with a playoff contender, but that didn't end up happening as Miami wasn't eliminated from postseason contention until Week 18. It's not known whether Campbell will return for a 16th NFL season in 2025 or hang up his cleats.

  • Dolphins' Jordan Poyer: Finishes 2024 with 98 tackles

Poyer racked up 98 tackles (51 solo) and three pass breakups across 16 regular-season appearances with the Dolphins in 2024. Poyer missed one game due to injury in Week 5 against the Titans, but when healthy, the 33-year-old safety was essentially an every-down player for the Dolphins. He operated as one of the more reliable aspects of Miami's secondary in 2024 despite not making many impact plays, as he finished the year without any INTs or sacks. The veteran safety will become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

  • Dolphins' Jordyn Brooks: Finishes as team tackle leader

Brooks made six tackles (three solo) and one pass breakup during Miami's 32-20 loss to the Jets on Sunday. Brooks concluded the year with a team-high 143 tackles (86 solo), including 3.0 sacks, plus six passes defensed and two fumble recoveries. Despite leading Miami in stops, that number marks just the third-best total of Brooks' five-year career. He has one year remaining on his contract with the team, and though the Dolphins have a potential 'out' in the deal for only $6.7 million in dead cap, this defense can't exactly afford to move on from one of its few difference-makers.

  • Dolphins' Jevon Holland: Good to go against Gang Green

Holland (wrist) is active for Sunday's game against the Jets. Holland was limited in practice all week due to a wrist injury, but he's done enough to be cleared to play in Sunday's regular-season finale. The 2021 second-round pick has logged 55 tackles (38 solo), including 1.0 sacks, three pass defenses and one forced fumble across 14 regular-season games.

Campbell (neck) is active for Sunday's game against the Jets. Campbell missed the first two practices of the week due to a neck injury. He was able to end with a limited session Friday, and he's done enough over the weekend and through pregame warmups to suit up for Sunday's regular-season finale. The veteran defensive lineman has logged 49 tackles (33 solo), including 4.0 sacks, five pass defenses and one forced fumble across 16 regular-season games.

  • Dolphins' Calais Campbell: Could play in Week 18

Campbell (neck) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Jets, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. The veteran defensive lineman opened the Dolphins' week of practice with a DNP but upgraded to limited work Friday, suggesting that he's trending toward playing in Sunday's must-win contest. Campbell has yet to miss a game this season, recording 49 total tackles, including 4.0 sacks, five passes defended and one forced fumble. If the 38-year-old can play through his neck injury Sunday, he's expected to serve as one of Miami's starting defensive ends.
