Player Outlook
McManus left Denver for Jacksonville, where he's expected to be the starting kicker for a Jaguars offense that ranked 10th in scoring last season. Most people expect the Jacksonville offense to be even better in 2023, but if that means that Trevor Lawrence improves in the red zone and raises his mediocre touchdown rate, that could actually mean fewer FG attempts in Jacksonville. Another thing to watch is how losing that Mile High advantage affects McManus's distance kicking. He's made 23 field goals of at least 50 yards over the past three seasons and went 10 for 10 from 40-49 yards last year. He's a borderline top-12 option who fits best in the streamer conversation.

  • Jaguars' Brandon McManus: Perfect in season finale

McManus made both field-goal attempts and both PATs against the Titans in Week 18. He played in all 17 games and went 30-for-37 on field goals and 35-for-35 on PATs. The 32-year-old tied a career high with 125 points, and it was the first time since 2018 he didn't miss an extra point. Five of McManus' misses came from beyond 50 yards, with the other two being from 40-to-49 yards, so he should be able to secure a contract for 2024 somewhere after kicking for the Jags on a one-year deal.

  • Jaguars' Brandon McManus: Back on track with four FGs

McManus converted all four field-goal attempts and both PATs during Sunday's 26-0 win over Carolina. Backup quarterback C.J. Beathard had trouble finishing drives for the Jags, leading to four field goals within 40 yards for McManus. The short makes end a streak of three games without a field goal for McManus, who is now 28-for-35 on the season and is perfect on 33 PATs.

  • Jaguars' Brandon McManus: Misses another long FG

McManus missed his lone field-goal attempt and did not attempt an extra point in Sunday's 30-12 loss to the Buccaneers. McManus missed from 52 yards during the second quarter, and Jacksonville trailed 30-0 before finally putting some points on the board late in the third. The 32-year-old is now without a made field goal over the past three games, though his three misses during that stretch have come from 50, 52 and 55 yards, and he's converted just five of 11 attempts from beyond 50 yards this season.

The 32-year-old hit the right upright from 50 yards and missed wide left from 55 during the first half Sunday, marking his second straight contest without a made field goal. McManus has made just four of eight field goals over the past four games, though three of his misses are from beyond 50 yards, with the other miss coming from 48.

  • Jaguars' Brandon McManus: No field goals Week 14

McManus made all three of his PATs and did not attempt a field goal during Sunday's 31-27 loss to the Browns. McManus was held without a field-goal attempt for the first time this year, and he tied a season low with three points Sunday. The 32-year-old is 24-for-28 on field goals and 30-for-30 on PATs through 13 games, and a matchup with Baltimore awaits in Week 15.

  • Jaguars' Brandon McManus: Another miss Monday

McManus made one of two field-goal attempts and all four PATs during Monday's 34-31 loss to Cincinnati. McManus missed a 48-yard field goal in the fourth quarter that would have given Jacksonville the lead, though he came through from 40 yards in the final minute to push the game to overtime. The 32-year-old made all 15 of his field goals from Week 4 to Week 11, but he's gone 4-for-6 over the past two games and is now 24-for-28 on the season.

McManus made three of four field-goal attempts and his lone PAT during Sunday's 24-21 win against the Texans. The 32-year-old missed wide right from 55 yards during the fourth quarter, but he otherwise converted from 40, 48 and 53 yards to help propel Jacksonville to a divisional victory. McManus has made a career-high 88 percent of his field goals this season, with two of his three misses coming beyond 50 yards.

McManus made both his field-goal attempts and all four PATs during Sunday's 34-14 win against the Titans. The veteran kicker converted field goals from 25 and 30 yards during the second quarter and remains perfect on extra points this season. McManus is 20-for-22 on field-goal attempts this season, with both misses coming against the Texans in Week 3.

  • Jaguars' Brandon McManus: Converts lone kick

McManus made his only field-goal attempt during Sunday's 34-3 loss to the 49ers. The 32-year-old put Jacksonville on the board with a 37-yard field goal during the second quarter, and that ended up being the team's only points of the game. McManus missed two field goals Week 3 against Houston but is otherwise perfect on 18 tries this season, and he also has yet to miss an extra-point attempt. If he's able to maintain this level of accuracy, the 90 percent hit rate would be the best of his career.

  • Jaguars' Brandon McManus: Busy day Week 6

McManus went 3-for-3 on field goals and 4-for-4 on PATs during Sunday's 37-20 win against the Colts. The veteran kicker showed off his range Week 6, as he converted field goals from 48, 49 and 51 yards, all three of which came during the second half. McManus has now attempted three field goals in four of the past five games, and he's 12-for-14 through six contests overall this year.

  • Jaguars' Brandon McManus: Kicker to Sit

McManus has two games with at least 10 Fantasy points and two games with eight points or less. He's coming off a great outing against Atlanta in London in Week 4 with three made field goals and two PATs, so hopefully staying in the same building will help against the Bills. But Buffalo has been among the league leaders in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing kickers, especially during a three-game winning streak. The Bills allowed Greg Zuerlein to make three field goals and one PAT in Week 1. Since then, in matchups with Daniel Carlson, Joey Slye and Jason Sanders, Buffalo has allowed two made field goals and three PATs. I'd try to avoid McManus this week if you can.

  • Jaguars' Brandon McManus: Makes three FGs in win

McManus went 3-for-3 on field-goal attempts and 2-for-2 on PATs during Sunday's 23-7 win against the Falcons. McManus missed two field goals Week 3 but rebounded Sunday in London by converting kicks from 38, 43 and 56 yards. The 32-year-old attempted just one field goal during the season opener but has three attempts in each of the past three games, which should provide a decent fantasy floor despite the underwhelming start to the season from Jacksonville's offense.

  • Jaguars' Brandon McManus: Perfect in Jags debut

McManus made his lone field-goal attempt and all four PATs during Sunday's 31-21 win against the Colts. The 32-year-old signed with Jacksonville in May shortly after being let go by Denver, and he had no issues during his first game in a new uniform. McManus had a strong showing during the preseason and retained that form Week 1, as he converted his lone field goal from 45 yards and was perfect on PATs. The veteran kicker is likely to be a decent fantasy option this year given the Jaguars' promising offense and his strong leg.

For the season, he made only 28 of 36 field goals to go with 25 of 27 PATs, placing outside the top 20 in scoring for kickers. At 31 years old, he's slated to return to the Broncos next season for his 10th NFL campaign.

  • Broncos' Brandon McManus: Makes one field goal in win

McManus made one of his two field-goal attempts and made all three of his extra-point attempts in Sunday's 24-15 win over the Cardinals. McManus accounted for six of the Broncos' 24 points Sunday, but the veteran could have had a bigger day if not for a miss from 38 yards out at the end of the first quarter. In 14 games, the 31-year-old kicker has made 24 of his 32 field-goal attempts this season. His 75 percent field-goal percentage is his lowest mark since the 2017 season. McManus will look to have a more productive outing in Week 16 when the Broncos visit the Rams.

  • Broncos' Brandon McManus: Cleared for Week 15

McManus doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's matchup against Arizona. For a second straight week, McManus was limited to start prep due to a quad issue but has been cleared for game action after submitting a full practice Friday. Across 13 appearances, he's 23-for-30 on field-goal attempts, with five of his seven misses coming from beyond 50 yards.

  • Broncos' Brandon McManus: Limited by quad injury

McManus (quadriceps) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice, Ellie Kinney of the Broncos' official site reports. McManus is back on the injury report to start Week 15 prep, just like he was one week ago. He ultimately suited up in the Broncos' loss to the Chiefs and made all four of point-after tries. Barring a setback, McManus should be cleared to play in this Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

  • Broncos' Brandon McManus: Makes four PATs in loss

McManus did not attempt a field goal and made all four of his extra-point attempts in Sunday's 34-28 loss to the Chiefs. Though McManus was perfect on his extra-point attempts Sunday, his production was limited by a surprisingly effective day for Denver's offense. Going forward, it's unlikely that the Broncos will all of a sudden be a team that consistently finishes drives in the end zone. For that reason, McManus remains a solid play based on Denver's tendency to stall in scoring range. The 31-year-old kicker will look to bounce back for fantasy purposes when the Broncos host the Cardinals in Week 15.

  • Broncos' Brandon McManus: Full participant Friday

McManus (quadriceps) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's matchup against Kansas City. McManus was sidelined to start Week 14 prep due to a quadriceps injury, but he returned as a limited participant Thursday and was full go Friday, putting him in line to suit up Sunday. That said, the injury may in part explain why McManus came up short on a potential game-winning 63-yard kick as time expired in the Broncos' one-point loss to the Ravens in Week 10, marking the fifth field goal he's missed beyond 50 yards this season. The Broncos could be more hesitant to give McManus more long field-goal opportunities at least for this week, as head coach Nathaniel Hackett told Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com on Friday that he's still "working through" what McManus' range will be Sunday while he manages the injury.
