Miller was not active for Saturday's wild-card game against the Ravens despite being elevated to the 53-man roster. The 2019 sixth-round pick appeared in 13 regular-season games for the Steelers and logged five catches (on nine targets) for 69 yards. Miller was waived by Pittsburgh on Thursday, but he was re-signed to the practice squad two days later and was subsequently elevated to the active roster. The veteran wide receiver played in 13 regular-season contests for the Steelers this season, tallying five catches on nine targets for 69 yards. Miller should continue serving in a depth wideout role in Saturday's wild-card contest against Baltimore with the Steelers' receiver corps in good health.

Miller signed a one-year deal with the Steelers in March of 2024 after playing for the Falcons in 2023. He finished the regular season with five catches (on nine targets) for 69 yards across 13 games. The Steelers could sign Miller to the practice squad over the next two days and elevate him to the active roster for Saturday's AFC wild-card game against the Ravens.

Miller didn't see the field in either of Pittsburgh's last two games, but he played 52 percent of the team's offensive snaps Sunday since George Pickens (hamstring) was inactive. Miller recorded his first catches since Week 3, but it seems unlikely that he'll maintain a role once Pickens is back to full health.

Steelers' Scotty Miller: Tallies three receptions in loss
Miller secured three of four targets for 47 yards during Friday's 20-12 preseason loss to the Texans.
Miller joined the Steelers on a one-year deal in May and is competing for a depth role at wide receiver after the team lost Diontae Johnson, Allen Robinson and Miles Boykin during the offseason. Miller made a solid first impression during Friday's preseason opener, as he tied for the team lead in receptions and finished second in receiving yards, fueled by a 38-yard catch to begin the fourth quarter. The 2019 sixth-rounder appeared in all 17 regular-season games during his lone season in Atlanta last year but secured just 11 of his 16 targets for 161 yards and two touchdowns. He hasn't topped 200 receiving yards in a season since the 2020 campaign in which he was catching passes from Tom Brady in Tampa Bay, so even if Miller lands a spot on the Steelers' 53-man roster this year, he seems unlikely to be an appealing fantasy option.

Miller agreed to terms Wednesday on a one-year contract with the Steelers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Miller reunites with offensive coordinator Arthur Smith in Pittsburgh, after he logged a 11-161-2 receiving line across 17 appearances in 2023 in Atlanta, where Smith had served as the head coach. The wideout now gets a chance to compete with names like Quez Watkins, Denzel Mims, Marquez Callaway and Dez Fitzpatrick for a depth role with the Steelers this offseason.
