Miller reverted to the Steelers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Miller was not active for Saturday's wild-card game against the Ravens despite being elevated to the 53-man roster. The 2019 sixth-round pick appeared in 13 regular-season games for the Steelers and logged five catches (on nine targets) for 69 yards. Miller will explore his options during the offseason and will look to join in need of depth at wide receiver.

Steelers' Scotty Miller: Not playing against Baltimore
Rotowire
Miller (coach's decision) is inactive for Saturday's wild-card game against the Ravens, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Miller was elevated from the Steelers' practice squad to the active roster earlier Saturday, but the veteran wideout will observe the contest in street clothes. He would have a chance to play in the divisional round should the Steelers take care of business Saturday.

Steelers' Scotty Miller: Elevated for wild-card matchup
Rotowire
The Steelers elevated Miller from their practice squad to their active roster Saturday, Dale Lolley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Miller was waived by Pittsburgh on Thursday, but he was re-signed to the practice squad two days later and was subsequently elevated to the active roster. The veteran wide receiver played in 13 regular-season contests for the Steelers this season, tallying five catches on nine targets for 69 yards. Miller should continue serving in a depth wideout role in Saturday's wild-card contest against Baltimore with the Steelers' receiver corps in good health.

Scotty Miller: Let go by Pittsburgh
Rotowire
The Steelers waived Miller on Thursday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
Miller signed a one-year deal with the Steelers in March of 2024 after playing for the Falcons in 2023. He finished the regular season with five catches (on nine targets) for 69 yards across 13 games. The Steelers could sign Miller to the practice squad over the next two days and elevate him to the active roster for Saturday's AFC wild-card game against the Ravens.
Miller secured three of four targets for 38 yards during Sunday's 27-14 win over the Browns.
Miller didn't see the field in either of Pittsburgh's last two games, but he played 52 percent of the team's offensive snaps Sunday since George Pickens (hamstring) was inactive. Miller recorded his first catches since Week 3, but it seems unlikely that he'll maintain a role once Pickens is back to full health.

Steelers' Scotty Miller: Won't play Week 12
Rotowire
Miller (coach's decision) is inactive for Thursday night's game against Cleveland.
Miller played eight snaps (seven on offense, one on special teams) during the Steelers' 18-16 win over the Ravens this past Sunday, but he did not register a stat in that contest. He'll be a healthy inactive for Thursday's game, and his next chance to play will be Week 13 against the Bengals on Sunday, Dec. 1.

Steelers' Scotty Miller: Healthy scratch for Week 10
Rotowire
Miller (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Commanders, Dale Lolley of the Steelers' official site reports.
With Mike Williams making his Steelers debut Sunday and Ben Skowronek back from injured reserve, Miller will be a healthy scratch for the first time this year. Miller has failed to register a catch since Week 3 against the Chargers, during which he caught two passes for 31 yards.

Steelers' Scotty Miller: No targets against Raiders
Rotowire
Miller failed to record a single target in Sunday's 32-13 win over the Raiders.
Miller played just 14 of the Steelers' 67 offensive snaps Sunday, operating as the No. 4 receiver behind George Pickens, Van Jefferson and Calvin Austin. The veteran wideout has now failed to record a target in five out of six games so far in 2024. Miller should be ignored for fantasy purposes heading into a Week 7 matchup against the Jets.

Steelers' Scotty Miller: Logs two receptions in Week 3
Rotowire
Miller secured both of his targets for 31 yards during Sunday's 20-10 win over the Chargers.
Miller wasn't targeted over the first two weeks of the regular season, but his snap count increased against the Chargers, as he was on the field for 37 offensive snaps after playing no more than 17 in either of his first two appearances of the season. Although the 2019 sixth-rounder had an encouraging performance in Sunday's win, it appears as though he'll have an inconsistent role in the Steelers' offense this year.

Steelers' Scotty Miller: Tallies three receptions in loss
Rotowire
Miller secured three of four targets for 47 yards during Friday's 20-12 preseason loss to the Texans.
Miller joined the Steelers on a one-year deal in May and is competing for a depth role at wide receiver after the team lost Diontae Johnson, Allen Robinson and Miles Boykin during the offseason. Miller made a solid first impression during Friday's preseason opener, as he tied for the team lead in receptions and finished second in receiving yards, fueled by a 38-yard catch to begin the fourth quarter. The 2019 sixth-rounder appeared in all 17 regular-season games during his lone season in Atlanta last year but secured just 11 of his 16 targets for 161 yards and two touchdowns. He hasn't topped 200 receiving yards in a season since the 2020 campaign in which he was catching passes from Tom Brady in Tampa Bay, so even if Miller lands a spot on the Steelers' 53-man roster this year, he seems unlikely to be an appealing fantasy option.

Steelers' Scott Miller: Lands in Pittsburgh
Rotowire
Miller agreed to terms Wednesday on a one-year contract with the Steelers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Miller reunites with offensive coordinator Arthur Smith in Pittsburgh, after he logged a 11-161-2 receiving line across 17 appearances in 2023 in Atlanta, where Smith had served as the head coach. The wideout now gets a chance to compete with names like Quez Watkins, Denzel Mims, Marquez Callaway and Dez Fitzpatrick for a depth role with the Steelers this offseason.

Falcons' Scott Miller: Scores twice in 2023
Rotowire
Miller finished 2023 with 11 receptions for 161 yards and two touchdowns across 17 appearances.
After four years in Tampa Bay, Miller signed a one-year deal to join the Falcons last offseason. It took the speedster until Week 5 to record his first catch with Atlanta, and despite carving out a role after that, he posted modest production, totaling nine catches (14 targets) for 95 yards from Weeks 5 to 17. Miller flashed in the season finale, catching both of his targets for a season-high 66 yards, but it wasn't enough to salvage his fantasy campaign. Miller is one of a handful of Falcons wideouts set to be unrestricted free agents this offseason, so whomever replaces Arthur Smith may have a completely revamped pass-catching corps behind Drake London, Kyle Pitts and Bijan Robinson.

Falcons' Scott Miller: Goes catchless on three targets
Rotowire
Miller played 18 of 72 snaps on offense in Sunday's 29-25 loss to the Buccaneers and failed to haul in any of his three targets.
Facing off against his former team for the second time in his career, Miller was unable to capitalize on either of his targets deep downfield and was also unable to connect with quarterback Desmond Ridder on a short look in the fourth quarter. During his time in Tampa Bay, the speedy Miller occasionally showed the ability to rip of big chunks of yardage while he was on the receiving end of deep targets from Jameis Winston or Tom Brady, but he's delivered just one splash play -- a 46-yard reception in Week 7 -- during his first season in Atlanta. It hasn't helped Miller's case that he's been limited to a rotational role with the Falcons, as his snap shares have ranged between 12 and 39 percent this season.

Falcons' Scotty Miller: Non-factor in loss
Rotowire
Miller caught one of two targets for four yards during Sunday's 24-16 loss to the Commanders.
The Falcons were surprisingly pass-happy against Washington, which allowed Miller to play a season-high 28 offensive snaps. His production was still muted, so he doesn't have much fantasy value for the moment. However, he is a player to keep an eye on, as he appears to be closing in on the No. 2 wideout role currently occupied by Mack Hollins. Hollins has seen fewer snaps over the last two weeks while Miller's role has increased, but it'll be difficult for either player to carve out strong production as long as Bijan Robinson, Kyle Pitts and Drake London are available.

Falcons' Scotty Miller: Catches first pass of 2023
Rotowire
Miller caught both of his targets for 10 yards during Sunday's 21-19 win over the Texans.
Miller played a season-high 18 offensive snaps and garnered his first two targets of the campaign. The speedster hasn't been able to get free for a big play yet, but he remains a steady piece of the gameplan and has played double-digit offensive snaps in three straight weeks. While Miller's role is growing, it's difficult for fantasy managers to trust any Falcons pass catcher on a consistent basis.

Falcons' Scotty Miller: Makes cameo appearance Friday
Rotowire
Miller caught his only target for nine yards in Friday's preseason win over the Dolphins.
After four seasons in Tampa Bay, Miller signed a one-year deal with Atlanta in the spring and was thought to be set as the No. 3 wideout behind Drake London and Mack Hollins. However, while the Falcons sat out all their main starters in the team's preseason opener, Miller actually saw brief action and caught his only pass from third-string QB Logan Woodside on the opening drive. He may not be as secure in his spot as was previously assumed, but unless another receiver makes a strong push in camp, Miller should head into Week 1 with a role in three-wide sets.

Buccaneers' Scotty Miller: One catch in Week 18 loss
Rotowire
Miller secured one of two targets for eight yards in the Buccaneers' 30-17 loss to the Falcons on Sunday.
Miller logged 21 snaps from scrimmage, his highest tally since Week 9, as the Buccaneers pulled most starters before halftime. However, while the speedster recorded his first reception since Week 13, Miller still saw minimal action and is likely to be a virtual non-factor on offense during next Monday night's wild-card matchup against the Cowboys.

Buccaneers' Scott Miller: Week 18 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
I wish we knew what Tampa Bay had planned with Week 18 in regards to resting players since the Buccaneers have locked up the No. 4 seed and don't have anything to play for against the Falcons. If the starters don't play, Miller could be looking at plenty of targets, but that would be without Tom Brady as well. Russell Gage (15 percent rostered) could also be in play here if the Buccaneers don't rest him, but Chris Godwin and Mike Evans seem the least likely to play a full game. Miller could end up as a No. 3 receiver in the majority of leagues if we find out Tampa Bay is resting players.

Buccaneers' Scotty Miller: Minimal role in Week 13
Rotowire
Miller secured one of two targets for seven yards in the Buccaneers' 17-16 win over the Saints on Monday night.
Miller was in on just 15 snaps, which represented a 19 percent share of the Buccaneers' offensive plays. The speedy reserve wideout is likely due for similar low-volume games the rest of the way as long as Julio Jones and Russell Gage are both healthy as the No. 3 and No. 4 receivers ahead of him.

Buccaneers' Scotty Miller: Limited use Week 12
Rotowire
Miller went without a target while playing two of the Buccaneers' 66 snaps on offense in Sunday's 23-17 overtime loss to the Browns.
Russell Gage (hamstring) was inactive for the fourth straight game due to injury, but since all of Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Julio Jones have been available during that stretch, Miller hasn't been able to carve out much of a role on offense. Whenever Gage is cleared to return to game action, Miller and/or Breshad Perriman could end up being healthy inactives.
