Player Outlook
Bass should once again be considered one of the best Fantasy kickers this season, and he's worth drafting with a last-round pick in all leagues. For three seasons in a row, Bass has averaged at least 8.2 Fantasy points per game and made at least 27 field goals and 48 PATs. He also has eight field goals of at least 50 yards over that span. The Bills offense is among the best in the NFL, and Bass should continue to get plenty of scoring chances. He should be one of the first Fantasy kickers drafted in all formats.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Second straight double-digit outing

Bass was 2-for-4 on field-goal attempts and made all four of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 37-34 overtime loss to the Eagles. While it was a nice fantasy performance put forth by Bass, it was the misses that proved costly to the Bills in a loss that could ultimately cost them a playoff spot. One was a blocked kick, and the other was a 48-yard attempt. While he hasn't been awful, Bass's current 78.3 percent rate on field goals would be a career low in what has overall been a fine career by the fourth-year kicker out of Georgia Southern. On a brighter note, two of Bass's five double-digit outings this season have come in the past two games, both under new offensive coordinator Joe Brady. Bass is currently tied for ninth in scoring among kickers.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Breaks through as offense recovers

Bass made all four field-goal attempts (48, 30, 33, 50) and two of three extra-point tries in Sunday's 32-6 win over the Jets. The 14 points is a new season high for Bass, and it exceeds his previous three outings combined, where he posted 12 total points as the Bills offense sputtered, to the point where offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey was fired prior to Sunday's game. We'll see if the team's potentially elite offense has found another gear or if it was just a one-week boost, though it's worth noting Buffalo's schedule is brutal -- the Bills finish with games at Philadelphia, at Kansas City, Dallas, at the Chargers, New England and at Miami.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Another disappointing total

Bass made both of his extra-point kicks and did not have a field-goal attempt in Monday's 24-22 loss to the Broncos. Over his last six games, Bass has posted a terrible total of 21 points scored, less than his two-game total of 25 he provided in Weeks 3-4. Bass hasn't been a bad kicker by any means, making 12 of his 15 field-goal attempts and all 28 of his extra-point tries. Instead, those rostering him have been burned by Buffalo's turnover-itis in recent times, and the team no longer seems to be able to score like it did in past seasons. Bass has fallen all the way into a tie for 21st in kicker scoring. Just like the team he kicks for, Bass's season started off with major promise and has fallen into mediocrity. He and the Bills take on the Jets in Week 11, and New York offers a staunch defense that's been great at keeping points off the board.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Makes both kicks

Bass made his only field-goal attempt and lone extra-point try in Sunday night's 24-18 loss to the Bengals. Bass converted from 34 yards on his field goal. The veteran's scoring has dropped off significantly this season, as he's failed to top six points in any of his last five appearances.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Pitches in with six points

Bass converted his only field-goal attempt and hit all three extra-point tries in Thursday's 24-18 win over Tampa Bay. The promising sign is that the Bills moved the ball better than they have in weeks, but they keep falling just short of Bass's comfort zone. Consequently, they had plenty of success pinning the Buccaneers deep on punts Thursday. Bass looked smooth on all four kicks after missing three field-goal tries over the last two games and posted his largest point total since Week 4, so perhaps he's back on track as the Bills prepare for a Week 9 game in Cincinnati.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Low output continues

Bass scored five points in Sunday's 29-25 loss to the Patriots, connecting on one of two field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries. Bass has now missed three field-goal attempts over the last two weeks, his only three misses of the season. The wind has certainly played a factor, as his miss in Week 7 looked good most of the way until a gust put it on a similar trajectory to a Clayton Kershaw breaking ball. Given Bass's track record, his slump should just be temporary amid a greater slump for the team, but he's definitely been knocked down a peg after posting just nine total points over the last three games.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Puts up primetime dud

Bass missed both of his field-goal tries while knocking in both of his extra-point attempts in Sunday night's 14-9 win over the Giants. To be fair, the field-goal attempts were from 52 and 53 yards on a night where the wind was blowing with some decent force at times, but those are the types of kicks Bass has made throughout his career, and they almost proved costly when the Bills were forced to stop the Giants on the one-yard line to secure a tight win in a game they were heavy favorites. As for Bass, he gets a pass on this one. These were the first two field-goal tries he's missed all season, and the first time he's missed two field goals in a game since Week 11 of 2021. Bass falls into a tie for 10th in kicker scoring with 47 points after the poor outing.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Lowest output of season

Bass made both of his extra-point tries and didn't attempt a field goal in Buffalo's 25-20 loss to Jacksonville in London on Sunday. Bass was the victim of the Bills falling behind after the offense got off to a sluggish start, and he finished with a season-low scoring figure. This was also his first game in 2023 without a field-goal attempt. On a more positive note, Bass has yet to miss a single kick all season, making all nine of his FG tries while going a perfect 18-for-18 on extra-point tries. Bass is still a solid seventh in scoring among kickers, with 45 points on the campaign.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Another big outing

Bass tallied 12 points in Sunday's 48-20 win over the Dolphins, making both of his field-goal tries and successfully making the extra point on all six of Buffalo's touchdowns. Bass has been flawless through four games, going 9-for-9 on field-goal attempts (including 3-for-3 from 50-plus) and making all 16 of his extra-point tries. Between his accurate leg and Buffalo's standing as the No. 2 scoring offense, he's a top-five kicker right now in almost any format. Bass currently sits fourth on the NFL scoring list with 43 points, behind only Dallas' Brandon Aubrey, Philadelphia's Jake Elliott and the Rams' Brett Maher.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Plays role in offensive outburst

Bass made all three of his field-goal attempts and was 4-for-4 on extra points in Sunday's 37-3 win over the Commanders Bass has 31 points already on the season, currently tied for third in the league among kickers. He's also been even more accurate than usual, going 7-for-7 on field goals -- including two from 50-plus -- while knocking in all 10 of his extra-point attempts. Bass was a top-five fantasy kicker to begin the season, and while that's proven true so far, he could receive a further boost knowing that quarterback Josh Allen has been tasked with keeping things closer to the vest following a turnover-laced performance vs. the Jets in Week 1.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Misses one kick in preseason finale

Bass was 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts and hit all three of his extra-point tries in Saturday's preseason win over Chicago. Unless Steve Christie or Nick Mike-Mayer retired in Western New York, we don't believe there's another kicker with professional experience within a 100 miles of Buffalo, so Bass is as safe a roster lock as it is heading into a challenging Week 1 matchup against the Jets. Although the Bills have a tough schedule, they also offer a top offense and a kicker that's been one of the league's most reliable in his three NFL seasons, averaging 8.4 fantasy points or more per game each season. Bass should be one of the first five kickers off the board in almost any format.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Whiffs on extra point

Bass made his only field-goal attempt -- a 40-yarder -- and was 2-of-3 on extra-point attempts in Saturday's preseason win over the Colts. The extra-point miss was a rarity for Bass, who's hit 99 of them on 101 attempts over the last two regular seasons, so we'll chalk it up as an anomaly. He has no competition ahead of the season and is locked into the starting kicker role for his fourth NFL campaign. Bass has reportedly looked great in training camp as well. The weather is always a concern during fantasy playoff weeks, but Bass has proven himself to be quite reliable and plays in an offense that is typically in the league's top group. He should be one of the first five kickers off the board in almost any format.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Another clean game

Bass made both of his field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 20-12 win over the Jets. Bass converted from 38 and 49 yards on his field goals. With four games remaining, his 115 points leads all kickers this season.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Perfect in win

Bass made his only field-goal attempt and all three of his extra-point tries in Week 13's 24-10 win over the Patriots. Bass converted from 48 yards on his lone field goal. Although his six points were below his average, Bass still ranks first among kickers league-wide with 107 total points this season.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Major role in challenging week

Bass connected on all six field-goal tries and his only extra-point attempt in Sunday's win over the Browns. The game was moved to Detroit and perfect conditions due to a snowstorm in Buffalo, and perhaps nobody benefited more than the third-year kicker, as we have to imagine it would have been tough to make six field goals in a game that would have been greatly affected by weather. We also have to imagine the 19 points won a number of fantasy games in Week 11, as Bass actually out-pointed superstar teammate Josh Allen for the week. Bass's big outing has vaulted him all the way to the top of the list among all kickers with 93 points.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Has kick blocked

Bass missed one of two field-goal attempts but made all five of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 38-3 win over the Steelers. Bass had a 49-yard field goal blocked in the first quarter, but he rallied to convert from 35 yards on the next drive. With Buffalo's offense having another big day, he got a handful more PATs to his name, bringing his season tally to 42 points, which ranks third among kickers league-wide.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Hits walk-off kick in Week 4 win

Bass made all three of his field-goal tries -- including the game-winner as time expired -- in Sunday's win over the Ravens. He also made both extra-point tries. The capable Bass has only missed one kick all season, with a 7-for-8 performance on field goals while making all 13 of his extra-point tries. In fact, Bass is perfect on 64 extra-point tries over the last two seasons and hasn't missed one since Week 14 of 2020. Bass is currently tied for fifth in the league with 34 points, as he continues to be a reliable fantasy kicker.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Misses first kick of season

Bass was 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts and made both of his extra-point kicks in Sunday's loss to the Dolphins. The miss was Bass's first of any type on the season, but it was a costly one as the Bills lost by two points. Bass is now 4-of-5 on field-goal tries while hitting all 11 of his extra-point attempts on the campaign. He remains one of the elite kickers in fantasy, though it's worth noting the high-powered Buffalo offense did suffer a series of injuries in the loss.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Impressive 11 points on MNF

Bass made both of his field-goal tries and all five extra-point attempts during Monday's 41-7 win over the Titans. Through two weeks, Bass has posted 18 points, good for a tie for fifth among kickers. Given that he's in a high-powered offense, there's little reason Bass shouldn't be a top-10 guy all season, which is exactly where he was drafted in fantasy leagues. Bass has made all 12 of his kicks this season, which consists of three field goals and nine extra points. He and the Bills get the Dolphins in Miami this week in what could be a high-scoring contest.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Big numbers in second season

Bass finished the 2021 season with 135 points, converting on 28 of 32 field-goal attempts and all 51 of his extra-point tries. Missing only four of 83 kicks is pretty amazing considering the conditions Bass faces in Buffalo, and he's proven to be worth a rare draft selection as a placekicker -- he was chosen in the sixth round of the 2020 Draft. The point total landed Bass in a tie for sixth in the league, and there's little reason to suspect he won't be a top-10 guy again next season given the high-powered offense supporting him, one with an elite quarterback that isn't going anywhere for the next several seasons.
