Player Outlook
Love's upside in a Packers offense expected to be tailored to his strengths is what makes him a good prospect. But because he's been mostly unimpressive over 291 career snaps, he's not nearly as exciting to buy into as other non-top-12 QBs. Love has mostly dinked-and-dunked downfield over 83 career pass attempts with only two completions of 16-plus Air Yards on 14 tries. All three of his touchdowns were catch-and-run plays by his receivers, two of which were considerably long. His biggest strength? His mobility, where he's kept plays alive with his legs and averaged 5.5 yards per run when he wasn't kneeling down (six attempts). For what it's worth, his schedule is projected to be the easiest for any quarterback this season. Expect Love to be taken around the 21st QB off the board as an upside-based No. 2 option in Superflex/two-QB formats or as a quality backup in one-QB leagues.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Outduels Mahomes on SNF

Love completed 25 of 36 pass attempts for 267 yards and three touchdowns while adding 10 rushing yards on two attempts in Sunday's 27-19 win over the Chiefs. Love put together a statement win by outdueling active legend Patrick Mahomes on the national stage Sunday. The Packers' signal-caller picked apart a tough defense from the pocket, resulting in his second consecutive week completing at least 69 percent of his passes while throwing three touchdowns. Love has emphatically put an end to his midseason doldrums with eight touchdowns and no turnovers over his last three games. He will look to maintain that momentum in a plus matchup against the Giants next Monday.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Bust Alert (Start/Sit)

Love is getting hot at the right time with three games in a row with at least 20.7 Fantasy points heading into Week 13. And he's done that in games at Pittsburgh in Week 10 and at Detroit in Week 12 on Thanksgiving, which are tough spots. But I don't love this matchup for him against the Chiefs, who are No. 7 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. Three quarterbacks this season have scored at least 23 Fantasy points against Kansas City (Zach Wilson in Week 4, Kirk Cousins in Week 5 and Russell Wilson in Week 8), but the Chiefs have been tough on some big-time quarterbacks. For example, Jared Goff (16 Fantasy points in Week 1), Trevor Lawrence (9.2 Fantasy points in Week 2), Justin Fields (12.7 Fantasy points in Week 3), Justin Herbert (12.9 Fantasy points in Week 7), Tua Tagovailoa (14.4 Fantasy points in Week 9) and Jalen Hurts (18.9 Fantasy points in Week 11) have all struggled against Kansas City. I love Love in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues, but I would sit him in one-quarterback leagues with this matchup against the Chiefs.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Week 13 Early Waiver Targets (Add/Drop)

Love has certainly had his ups and downs in his first season as a starter, but heads into Week 13 riding high. Love had arguably his best game of the season in Week 12 against the Lions, passing for three touchdowns and 268 yards, and he now has seven touchdowns over his past three games, with just two interceptions. The Packers have figured out how to scheme up some easier looks for him, and they've started to figure out the best way to deploy their many young pass-catching options. It's a tough matchup in Week 13 against the Chiefs, but with Love playing as well as he is, it might be worth trusting him.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Dazzles in Thanksgiving win

Love completed 22 of 32 passes for 268 yards and three touchdowns with 39 rushing yards on three carries in Thursday's 29-22 win over the Lions. The first-year starting QB shone in the Thanksgiving game spotlight, as Love tossed red-zone TDs to Jayden Reed and Tucker Kraft in the first quarter as the Packers raced out to a 14-6 lead. Love then hit Christian Watson for his final score late in the third quarter, tying his career high for touchdown passes and extending his streak of games with multiple TD passes to three. The 2020 first-round pick has a 7:2 TD:INT over those three games with a 62.5 percent completion rate and a 7.8 YPA, but Love will face a tough test in Week 13 against a stingy Kansas City secondary.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Career high in passing yards

Love completed 27 of 40 attempts for 322 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Chargers. He also netted no gain on three rush attempts and committed two fumbles recovered by Green Bay, one which he corralled himself. Love has shown improvement over his last three games, avoiding any turnovers twice while also being a bigger threat passing downfield. In fact, Sunday saw Love set a career high in passing yards, with his final throw being a 24-yarder to Romeo Doubs for the game-winning touchdown. Coming off a positive Week 11 performance, Love now faces a quick turnaround ahead of a tough divisional game in Detroit on Thanksgiving.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Sleeper QBs

Love snapped a five-game streak of scoring 19 Fantasy points or less in Week 10 at Pittsburgh when he scored 20.7 points. His weapons are finally healthy, which is a plus, and hopefully he can take advantage of this great matchup against the Chargers. The only quarterbacks who failed to score at least 23 Fantasy points against the Chargers this season are Aidan O'Connell, Tyson Bagent and Zach Wilson, and Love has the chance for a quality outing in Week 11. He's my favorite streaming quarterback for this scoring period.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Sneaky Sleeper (Lineup Decisions)

If you consider Love, it's because he figures to be in a high-scoring matchup against a beatable opponent. That usually opens the door to at least a 19-point game with potential for more (like, say, 22 points). I can't call him a top-15 quarterback, much less a top-12, but I would say he has more upside at this point than Trevor Lawrence, Matthew Stafford, Baker Mayfield and Geno Smith. I would start Joshua Dobbs, Kyler Murray and Justin Fields, among others, ahead of him.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Adds/Streamers (QB Preview)

Love is the only QB in my top 20 this week who isn't rostered in at least 65% of leagues. I would start him over Trevor Lawrence, Geno Smith, and Deshaun Watson. Tyson Bagent, Zach Wilson, and Aidan O'Connell are the only QBs who have failed to score 22 Fantasy points against the Chargers this season.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Week 11 Waiver Priority List

Love has played better the past two games against the Rams and Steelers with all of his weapons finally healthy, and he scored 20.6 Fantasy points at Pittsburgh in Week 10, which was his best total since Week 3. I'm not willing to start him in all leagues in Week 11 against the Chargers, but it's a favorable matchup if you need a streamer in one-quarterback leagues. The Chargers are No. 3 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks, and Love is worth adding for 1 percent of your FAB.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Productive in defeat

Love completed 21 of 40 passes for 289 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 23-19 loss to the Steelers. Love barely completed half of his passes, yet he had a number of long completions downfield. After opening the game with an eight-yard touchdown to Romeo Doubs, he found Jayden Reed for a 35-yard score during the second quarter. To close the contest, though, Love was intercepted on consecutive drives while attempting throws into the end zone, tarnishing a performance that otherwise had some promising moments.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: QBs to Sit

Love has gone five games in a row with 19.6 Fantasy points or less, including two games in a row where he's scored fewer than 17 points. And now he has to face a Steelers' defense that hasn't allowed a quarterback to score more than 16 Fantasy points in four games in a row, including Lamar Jackson and Trevor Lawrence. You can start Love in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues, but he's a risky option in one-quarterback formats going against this defense on the road.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Solid in win

Love completed 20 of 26 passes for 228 yards and a touchdown and rushed four times for seven yards in Sunday's 20-3 win over the Rams. Love posted a season high in completion percentage while avoiding any turnovers for the first time since Week 2. Along with connecting better on passes further downfield, Love's well-designed, 20-yard touchdown to Luke Musgrave helped seal Green Bay's victory. A tough matchup at the Steelers now awaits Love in Week 10.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Sit Him (Lineup Decisions)

This could be a good week for the Packers to try and let Love try more deep throws, but they'll need to protect him really well first. That's been a problem all year and figures to continue. Love has been relatively safe as a high-floor, low-ceiling Fantasy play, and that's where he lands for me this week. I wouldn't blame you for trusting him over Will Levis or Baker Mayfield, but both quarterbacks have more upside with maybe a little less downside. I'd happily start Sam Howell and Derek Carr over Love.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: QBs to Sit

Love hasn't topped 19.6 Fantasy points in four games in a row, and he continues to make mistakes heading into Week 9 against the Rams. He has a five-game interception streak dating back to Week 3, and he's thrown five touchdowns to eight interceptions over that span. Now, the Rams have given up some huge games to quarterbacks this season in Anthony Richardson (33.6 Fantasy points in Week 4), Jalen Hurts (29.3 Fantasy points in Week 5) and Dak Prescott (35.9 Fantasy points in Week 8), but every other quarterback has scored fewer than 16 Fantasy points, including Geno Smith, Brock Purdy and Joe Burrow. Love will likely fall below the 20-point threshold again this week, making him just an option in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Struggles continue in Week 8

Love completed 24 of 41 passes for 229 yards and one touchdown with one interception in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Vikings. He added a team-high 34 rushing yards on four carries. The fact that the young QB led the Packers in rushing tells the story of how dysfunctional the offense was as a whole, but Love salvaged his day somewhat with a one-yard TD pass to Romeo Doubs late in the fourth quarter. Over the last five games, Love's posted a 5:8 TD:INT with a 58.2 percent completion rate and a 6.0 YPA, and until Green Bay can re-establish an effective running game, he could continue to struggle to find easy completions. He'll look to turn things around in Week 9 against a Rams defense that just got lit up by Dak Prescott and the Cowboys.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Sleepers (Start/Sit)

The Vikings have only allowed one quarterback to score more than 14.8 Fantasy points in the past four games, which was Patrick Mahomes in Week 5, but that's also because Minnesota got somewhat lucky in the other three outings. The Vikings handled Bryce Young in Week 4, but Justin Fields was hurt in Week 6 and Brock Purdy was missing Deebo Samuel and Trent Williams in Week 7. I'm not expecting Love to have a huge game, but he scored just 19.6 Fantasy points in Week 4 against Detroit and 19.3 points at Denver in Week 7. He should stay in that range against the Vikings, making him a borderline No. 1 Fantasy quarterback in all leagues for Week 8.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Another slow start

Love completed 21 of 31 passes for 180 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's 19-17 loss to the Broncos. He also rushed three times for 21 yards. Love hardly threw downfield during the first half, when the Packers' offense endured yet another sluggish start, scoring no points. The quarterback found more success afterward, though, throwing a 16-yard touchdown to Romeo Doubs and four-yard score to Jayden Reed. While the latter play helped put Green Bay in the lead temporarily, Love subsequently threw an interception on his final pass for the second straight contest, resulting in consecutive failed attempts at game-winning drives.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Start Him (Lineup Decisions)

This feels like a make-or-break game for Love -- if he's more in rhythm and not forcing throws deep downfield then he should connect a bunch with his receivers (perhaps Romeo Doubs more than anyone else) and work his way to some good numbers. But if he's done nothing to try and refine his game over the bye week then he'll throw a couple of interceptions and struggle to overcome them for Fantasy points. I think the matchup is too good to ignore and I'll give the quarterback a shot, especially if Aaron Jones is back. I'll roll the dice on Love ahead of Matthew Stafford, Sam Howell, Jared Goff and Russell Wilson.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Start Him (Lineup Decisions)

The Raiders' track record against QBs and Love getting Aaron Jones and Christian Watson back without snap limits are what provides the most optimism here. The return of guard Elgton Jenkins helps, too. Love has upside to get back to 25-plus Fantasy points like he had in Weeks 1-3. I'd start him over Trevor Lawrence, Joe Burrow and Jared Goff.
