Browns' Sam Kamara: Ruled out for Week 14
Kamara (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Steelers, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.
Kamara will be sidelined for a second straight game due to a concussion. He'll have to clear the league's five-step concussion protocol in order to return for Week 15 against Kansas City on Sunday, Dec. 15. With Kamara sidelined for Sunday's AFC North clash, Ogbonnia Okoronkwo will serve as the Browns' top rotational defensive end behind starters Isaiah McGuire and Myles Garrett.

Browns' Sam Kamara: Won't play Monday vs. Denver
Kamara (head) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Broncos, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Kamara popped up on Friday's injury report due to a head injury, and he closed the week with consecutive DNPs. His next opportunity to play will be against Pittsburgh on Sunday, Dec. 8. Ogbonnia Okoronkwo and James Houston will be the Browns' rotational defensive ends Monday behind Myles Garrett and Isaiah McGuire due to Kamara's injury.

Kamara played a rotational role on Cleveland's defensive line for four games this season, recording five combined tackles. His exit comes along with five other franchise departures Tuesday, including the waiving of Javion Cohen and Blake Whiteheart, along with three players cut from the practice squad.

Browns' Sam Kamara: Staying with Cleveland
Kamara has agreed to sign his Exclusive Rights Free Agent tender to stay with the Browns, Brad Stainbrook of 247Sports.com reports.
The ERFA tender is for players with two or fewer accrued seasons in the NFL. Kamara has played in three games and on 79 defensive snaps with Cleveland over the last two campaigns.

Bears' Sam Kamara: Activated off active/PUP list
The Bears activated Kamara (undisclosed) off the active/PUP list Friday, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.
Kamara opened training camp on the active/PUP list, but his absence from practice lasted only a few days. The undrafted linebacker out of Stony Brook appeared in eight games for the Bears last season and totaled 10 tackles and one pass deflection across 105 defensive snaps.

Kamara has appeared in five games for the Bears this season, playing 70 total defensive snaps and registering five tackles. However, now that Roquan Smith and Alec Ogletree are healthy, he's expected to stick with the practice squad for the foreseeable future.
