Patrick didn't get onto the field this regular season, but he's now getting a look from the NFC favorite in San Francisco. He's played the vast majority of his NFL snaps on special teams.

Aaron Patrick: Doesn't make roster
Patrick (knee) was waived by Denver on Tuesday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.
Patrick was waived without an injury settlement, so it seems as if he's had time to move past his knee issue. The 26-year-old appeared in 17 games throughout his two years in Denver, primarily playing as a special teams ace. He'll now be forced to look for a new home ahead of the coming season.

Patrick suffered a torn ACL in Monday's loss to the Chargers and had already been ruled out for the rest of the season. He was a key contributor on special teams through five games, tallying three total tackles.

Patrick sustained a ruptured ACL on an awkward sideline collision during Monday night's loss at the Chargers, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
It's a horrendous stroke of luck for Patrick, who now won't be able to play again until 2023. In the meantime, Denver will have to find a way to replace the linebacker's special teams production.
