Zeke Vandenburgh: Waived with injury settlement
The Dolphins waived Vandenburgh (leg) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Vandenburgh suffered a leg injury in Miami's preseason opener against Atlanta. The injury settlement means he won't have to sit out for the entire 2024 season, and he is free to sign with another team once he's fully healthy.

Vandenburgh went down with a leg injury in Miami's preseason opener and he'll now be forced to miss the entirety of the 2024 season. The linebacker will now shift his focus to being ready for the 2025 campaign.

Vandenburgh will get an MRI after sustaining a leg injury in Friday's 20-13 preseason win over the Falcons, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
Vandenburgh recorded one tackle before leaving at the end of the first quarter. The 25-year-old out of Illinois State is battling for a depth spot at inside linebacker, and a prolonged absence due to injury would hurt his already slim chances at making the Dolphins' 53-man roster.
