Vokolek signed his tender with the Cardinals on Monday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
The one-year contract offer was the only one available to the tight end since he was an exclusive rights free agent. Vokolek appeared in one game and on four offensive snaps last season with the Cardinals, and he has yet to record a catch across three NFL appearances over the last two seasons. The Nebraska product likely will have to compete for a role as a depth tight end and special teamer in 2025.

The Cardinals extended a tender on Vokolek on Wednesday, Howard Balzer of USA Today reports.
By placing a tender on Vokolek (as an exclusive rights free agent), the Cardinals now have the ability to match any offer that another team makes for the 26-year-old tight end out of Nebraska. Vokolek was on the Cardinals' 53-man roster during the 2024 season, but he only played in Week 4 against the Commanders, when he logged 14 snaps (12 on offense, two on special teams) without showing up on the box score otherwise. Vokolek projects to be a depth option at tight who can contribute on special teams for the Cardinals in 2025.

Vokolek played in 10 games in his final season at Nebraska, catching 20 passes for 240 yards and three touchdowns. His blocking and catching ability steadily improved over his college career, and though he still needs to develop his fundamental skills, he has the size and strength to stick on an NFL roster.
