Cowboys' Micah Parsons: Big finish to 2024 season
Parsons recorded four tackles, including 2.5 sacks, in Sunday's loss to the Commanders.
The fourth-year linebacker put an exclamation mark at the end of another impressive season. Despite missing four games due to a high-ankle sprain, Parsons still finished the year with 12.0 sacks in 13 appearances, the fourth straight campaign in which he's racked up a dozen sacks or more. Hall of Famer Reggie White is the only other player in NFL history to start their career with four straight seasons of 12-plus sacks. Parsons is heading into the final year of his rookie contract in 2025, and getting him signed to an extension likely will be the Cowboys' top priority this offseason.

Cowboys' Micah Parsons: Past wrist issue
Parsons (wrist) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Commanders, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Parsons popped up on the Cowboys' injury report Thursday as a limited participant due to a wrist issue. However, he upgraded to full participation Friday, suggesting that he's recovered in time to play in Sunday's divisional matchup. The All-Pro edge rusher has recorded 9.5 sacks across just 12 games this season.

Cowboys' Micah Parsons: Working through wrist injury
Parsons (wrist) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Joe Hoyt of AllDLLS.com reports.
The Cowboys held a walkthrough Wednesday, so Parsons may have picked up the injury during Dallas' Week 17 loss to Philadelphia. His practice participation Friday will indicate his chances of playing in Sunday's regular-season finale against Washington. In the eight games he's played since returning from an ankle injury, Parsons has logged 25 tackles (16 solo), including 8.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles.
