  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Suffers dislocated shoulder Sunday

Reed said after Sunday's 22-10 wild-card loss to the Eagles that he sustained a dislocated shoulder in the third quarter of the contest, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Already down Christian Watson (knee) due to a torn ACL heading into the postseason, the Packers then lost Reed and Romeo Doubs (concussion) to injuries Sunday to further thin their receiver ranks. Before checking out of the contest in the third quarter, Reed recorded four catches for 46 yards on four targets and brought back two punts for 26 yards. He could need surgery to address the issue, but either way he should be back to full health ahead of training camp in late July. Reed finished his second NFL campaign with 55 catches for a career-high 857 yards and six touchdowns on 75 targets over 17 games, while adding 163 yards and another score on 20 carries.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Says he won't need surgery

Reed said Monday that he won't need surgery on his dislocated shoulder, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.

He missed the end of Sunday's playoff loss to the Eagles but should be ready for OTAs in the spring. It was a disappointing end to a disappointing season in which 72.3 percent of Reed's receiving yards came in the first nine games. He appeared well on his way to a 1,000-yard campaign for much of the season, before averaging 29.6 receiving yards and 3.6 targets after a Week 10 bye, ultimately finishing with a 55-857-6 receiving line and 20-163-1 on the ground. Reed offers an unusual combination of rushing contributions and big receiving plays from the slot, but it's hard to say if/when he'll progress beyond boom/bust-WR3 status for fantasy.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Hurts shoulder in wild-card game

Reed is questionable to return to Sunday's wild-card matchup against Philadelphia due to a shoulder injury, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Reed took a hard hit to his shoulder after making a catch in the third quarter. Fellow wideout Romeo Doubs has also exited to be evaluated for a concussion, leaving Dontayvion Wicks as the Packers' presumptive top wideout for the time being. Bo Melton and Malik Heath are also wide-receiver options for Jordan Love, and tight end Tucker Kraft could become an even more important part of the team's passing game.

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Two catches in Week 18 loss

Reed caught both of his targets for 48 yards in Sunday's 24-22 loss to the Bears. He also rushed three times for three yards and lost a fumble.

The Packers like to get the speedy Reed involved in the run game, but he had a pair of lowlights on the ground in this one, as he fumbled at the end of a four-yard run in the second quarter and was stuffed for minus-2 yards on a fourth-down carry to start the fourth quarter. Reed slumped down the stretch, as this was only the second time he exceeded 35 receiving yards in the last eight games. He finishes the regular season with 55 catches for 857 yards and six touchdowns on 75 targets, as well as 163 yards and a touchdown rushing. Reed will try to get back on track when the Packers travel to Philadelphia in the wild-card round, likely without fellow wide receiver Christian Watson (knee).

  • Packers' Jayden Reed: Shut down by Minnesota

Reed recorded one reception on four targets for six yards in Sunday's 27-25 loss to the Vikings.

Targets were projected to condense in the Green Bay offense with Christian Watson (knee) sidelined, making Reed's stat line even more disappointing. His biggest impact on the game came midway through the second quarter when he dropped a pass that would have been a conversion on fourth down. Since Green Bay's Week 10 bye, Reed has failed to reach 35 receiving yards in six of seven games.
