Lions' Aidan Hutchinson: Out 4-to-6 months after surgery
Hutchinson's surgery on a fractured left tibia and fibula went well Sunday, and he's expected to be out 4-to-6 months, coach Dan Campbell said Monday, Nolan Bianchi of The Detroit News reports.
Campbell's update is encouraging, and the head coach intimated that he wouldn't rule Hutchinson out from a return in the playoffs. Hutchinson's still expected to miss the remainder of the regular season, and even a postseason return would have to occur before the optimistic end of his projected absence. Nonetheless, this is positive news given the serious concern over Hutchinson's injury as soon as it occurred.

Lions' Aidan Hutchinson: Tibia injury season-ending
Hutchinson is expected to miss the rest of the season due to the broken left tibia he suffered in Sunday's 47-9 win over the Cowboys, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Hutchinson was carted off in the second half and underwent surgery at a Dallas-area hospital. He was an early frontrunner for Defensive Player of the Year prior to the injury, and the standout pass rusher will finish the season with 7.5 sacks among his 19 tackles (12 solo) to go with a forced fumble in just five games. On the bright side, the early prognosis on Hutchinson's injury suggests that he will be ready to go for the start of the 2025 season.

Lions' Aidan Hutchinson: Out long-term with tibia injury
Hutchinson (lower leg) is staying behind at a local Dallas hospital after injuring his tibia in Sunday's 47-9 win over the Cowboys, and coach Dan Campbell said after the game that Hutchinson will be "down for a little while," Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.
Hutchinson fractured his tibia before being carted off the field in the second half of Sunday's win. A clear recovery timeline has yet to be established, but Hutchinson's looking at a multi-week absence and will probably miss the rest of the season. Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, Hutchinson underwent immediate surgery on the broken tibia.

Hutchinson was ruled out almost immediately after being carted off the field in the third quarter. The injury looked severe and could prove to be season-ending, but the only definitive finding for now is that Hutchinson won't return against Dallas.

Lions' Aidan Hutchinson: Suffers serious leg injury Sunday
Hutchinson was carted off the field with a potentially serious lower left leg injury during Sunday's contest in Dallas, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
After sacking Cowboys QB Dak Prescott in the third quarter, Hutchinson remained on the turf in significant pain and threw his gloves off in the process. Hutchinson was fitted with an air cast while his teammates surrounded him in the middle of the field, indicating the severity of the situation. The Lions will clarify the nature of his health concern in due time.
