  • Eagles' Keilan Robinson: Claimed by Eagles

Robinson was claimed off waivers by the Eagles on Friday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports. Robinson didn't take long to latch on with a new team after being waived by the Jaguars on Thursday. The 2024 fifth-round draft pick will compete for a spot on the Eagles' roster in camp, with Robinson's best chance of sticking around coming via his ability on special teams, where he can contribute as a kick returner and gunner.

  • Keilan Robinson: Cut by Jags

Jacksonville waived Robinson on Thursday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports. Robinson played just five offensive snaps during his rookie season after being selected in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, and now he's getting cut during the offseason. He'll have to look for his next opportunity to make an impression elsewhere. The battle for the fourth running back slot on the Jaguars' depth chart is now likely between 2025 seventh-rounder LeQuint Allen and UDFA Ja'Quinden Jackson.

  • Jaguars' Keilan Robinson: No touches in finale

Robinson played two snaps on special teams during Jacksonville's Week 18 loss to the Colts. The rookie fifth-round pick spent the first 11 games on the season on injured reserve due to a toe injury, and he almost exclusively played special teams in the six games he was active for. Robinson isn't likely to have a major role in 2025 with Travis Etienne and Tank Bigsby both still under contract.

  • Jaguars' Keilan Robinson: Won't return for Week 11

Robinson (toe) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Lions. Robinson started the regular season on injured reserve due to a toe injury he suffered in late July. His 21-day practice window to return from IR opened Oct. 30, and while he was able to practice in full all week, he'll be held out for one more game. The Jaguars are on a bye for Week 12, so Robinson's next chance to suit up will be Week 13 against the Texans on Sunday, Dec. 1.

  • Jaguars' Keilan Robinson: Won't play vs. Philadelphia

Robinson (toe) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Eagles. Robinson began the regular season on injured reserve due to a toe injury he suffered during training camp. His 21-day practice window opened Wednesday, and while he was a full practice participant in all three sessions this week, he will not be activated from IR before Sunday's contest. Robinson's next chance at suiting up will be Week 10 against Minnesota on Sunday, Nov. 10.

  • Jaguars' Keilan Robinson: Practice window opens

The Jaguars designated Robinson (toe) for return from injured reserve Wednesday. Robinson's toe injury dates back to early in training camp and resulted in the Jaguars placing him on IR prior to Week 1. The rookie fifth-round pick is now ready to resume practicing, with the transaction opening up a 21-day evaluation window before he would need to be moved to the 53-man roster. Once activated, Robinson will provide depth out of the backfield behind Travis Etienne (hamstring), Tank Bigsby and D'Ernest Johnson, but the 24-year-old may make his greatest impact in the return game.

  • Jaguars' Keilan Robinson: Placed on IR with return designation

Robinson (toe) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday with a designation to return. A new rule allows two players from each team to be designated for return when placed on injured reserve the day of roster cutdowns. Robinson, a rookie fifth-round pick, will now be out for at least the first four games of the season, with Week 5 marking his earliest possible date for an NFL debut. He's been out with a toe injury since late July, unable to practice or play in preseason games. Robinson had only 796 rushing yards and 332 receiving yards across one season at Alabama and three at Texas, but he added 897 yards on 38 kick returns (23.6 average) over his final two years. Robinson then ran a 4.42 40 at the 2024 Combine, confirming his potential as a return man in the NFL.

  • Jaguars' Keilan Robinson: Moves to individual drills

Robinson (toe) will return to practice for individual drills Friday, Mia O'Brien of 1010 XL 92.5 FM Jacksonville reports. Robinson hasn't practiced in the recent days due to the same toe problems, but it appears he at least is moving in the right direction. Getting on the field and competing as soon as possible will be important for the rookie out of Texas, as he is battling against Tank Bigsby and D'Ernest Johnson to be Travis Etienne's backup this season.
