  • Ty'Son Williams: Won't make team

Williams was waived by the Cardinals on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Williams has bounced around some since his rookie campaign with the Ravens in 2021. The BYU product spent part of the 2022 season on Arizona's practice squad and did suit up for one contest, securing a catch for a five-yard gain in the process.

  • Cardinals' Ty'Son Williams: Promoted to active roster Week 18

The Cardinals elevated Williams from the practice squad Saturday, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Williams is in line to make his season debut after joining Arizona's practice squad in mid-October. Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury already said Friday that Corey Clement and Keaontay Ingram would be in line for increased roles Week 18 after top running back James Conner (shin/ankle) was ruled out. Therefore, it's likely Williams will serve as the team's third-string running back in this relatively meaningless regular-season finale for Arizona, as the team was eliminated from the 2022 playoffs multiple weeks ago.

  • Ty'Son Williams: Joins Cardinals' practice squad

Williams was signed to the Cardinals' practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

Williams was cut by the Ravens prior to the 2022 season and will now join his third team of the year following a short stint with the Colts in the preseason. With James Conner (ribs) and Darrel Williams (knee) banged up heading into Week 6, it's possible Williams could be added to the active roster for Sunday's matchup with the Seahawks.

  • Ty'Son Williams: Waived by Indy

The Colts waived Williams on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

Williams garnered a small role for the Colts during the preseason and, aside from a 15-yard receiving touchdown in Week 2, didn't produce substantial statistics. He finds himself among a wave of cuts ahead of Tuesday's 53-man roster deadline, but if he clears waivers, he's expected to sign a practice squad deal with Indianapolis.
