Lions' Alim McNeill: Moves to IR
McNeill (knee) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
McNeill's move to IR is a bit surprising as head coach Dan Campbell only referred to the NC State product as, "a little banged up," after Sunday's win over the Saints. However, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, McNeill suffered a sprained knee in the contest. The 23-year-old will miss at least the next four weeks, while Pelissero noted he could be ready for the playoffs.

Lions' Derrick Barnes: Leading tackler in win
Barnes recorded nine total tackles (three solo), including one tackle for loss in Sunday's 33-28 win over the Saints.
Barnes' nine stops were enough to tie Jack Campbell for the Lions' leading tackler in Week 13. The third-year linebacker out of Purdue is quietly having the best season of his career, as he's logged 61 total tackles, including four tackles for loss and 1.0 sack through Detroit's first 12 games. Barnes ranks second on the Lions in total tackles, and he'll look to continue his stretch of solid play as the year goes on.

Lions' Jack Campbell: Another productive outing
Campbell logged nine total tackles (four solo), including two tackles for loss in Sunday's 33-28 win over the Saints.
Campbell tied his season-high in tackles during Sunday's contest, and his nine stops were also enough to tie Derrick Barnes for the Lions' leading tackler. The 2023 first-round pick has had a solid rookie season, but he's been a little inconsistent thus far, recording four or less tackles in six of the team's 12 games. Look for Campbell to continue learning and improving down the stretch for Detroit's defense.

Lions' Brian Branch: Nabs another pick in win
Branch logged seven total tackles (three solo), one pass deflection and one interception in Sunday's 33-28 win over the Saints.
The 2023 second-round pick's seven stops were tied for the second-most on Detroit during Sunday's contest, bringing his season total up to 58 tackles. Branch also snagged the second interception of his young career, setting up the Lions' offense for an easy touchdown in the first quarter. The nickel safety is making a tremendous impact on Detroit's defense in his first season, ranking first on the team in pass deflections and tackles for loss, and he'll look to continue causing problems for opposing offenses as the year goes on.

Lions' Riley Patterson: Bounces back
Patterson converted two of two field-goal attempts and all three PATs during Sunday's win over the Saints.
This is a respectable statistical bounce-back effort after Patterson hit rock bottom in Week 12. Through 12 games, the Memphis product has now seen multiple field-goal attempts six times but none at all in five of the other contests. While the floor is non-existent, Patterson could again be a worthwhile roll of the dice in a road matchup in Week 14 against a Bears defense allowing the sixth-most points per game (24.7) this season.

Lions' Kalif Raymond: No targets
Raymond rushed once for nine yards during Sunday's win over the Saints.
After putting together one of his best games as a receiver in last week's loss to Green Bay, Raymond was barely a part of the game plan this time around. The diminutive deep threat will remain a risky bet for statistical production when the Lions take on the Bears in Week 14.

Lions' Jameson Williams: Scores on double reverse
Williams secured his only target for 11 yards while rushing once for 19 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's win over the Saints.
Williams again logged around 60 percent of the offensive snaps, but an increased workload in the passing game has yet to follow the jump in playing time he is seeing. At least Williams made the most of the touches he had, with one of the game's highlights being a double reverse that saw Willams display his high-end speed for a 19-yard rushing touchdown. The Alabama product will next take aim at a Chicago defense allowing the sixth-most points per game (24.7) in 2023.

Lions' Alim McNeill: Dealing with injury
McNeil (undisclosed) is a little banged up and could miss the Week 14 game against the Bears, according to head coach Dan Campbell, Colton Pouncy of The Athletic reports.
McNeil managed to play through whatever his injury was against the Saints but seems to have come out of the game worse for wear. His practice status in the days ahead should shed better light on his chances of suiting up against Chicago.
