49ers' Isaac Guerendo: Resumes No. 3 role
Guerendo had one carry for zero yards in Sunday's 23-20 win over Tampa Bay.
With star tailback Christian McCaffrey (Achilles) returning to action and backup Jordan Mason (shoulder) healthy, Guerendo was relegated to third on San Francisco's depth chart. The rookie logged just three snaps on offense (five percent) while taking his only touch for no gain. Guerendo produced a pair of strong fantasy performances in the weeks covering for his injured teammates, but managers can safely move on from the Louisville product in such a reduced role.

49ers' Jordan Mason: One carry with CMC back
Mason (shoulder) had one carry for five yards in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Buccaneers.
Mason was able to recover from a shoulder injury over San Francisco's bye week in order to suit up against Tampa Bay. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, the first-half star was relegated to his usual backup role with Christian McCaffrey (Achilles) making his 2024 debut off of injured reserve. This resulted in Mason assuming his regular low-usage role Sunday, a trend that should continue now that CMC is back atop the depth chart. Mason can safely be dropped in standard formats as we look towards Week 11.

49ers' Jake Moody: Innaccurate in return
Moody (ankle) went 3-for-6 on field-goal attempts while converting both of his point-after tries in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Buccaneers.
Moody returned from an ankle injury that cost him three weeks of game action, but the results were mixed upon returning Sunday. The 2023 third-round pick wound up missing three field-goal attempts (44, 49 and 50 yards) before nailing his sixth and final attempt for the win. Moody went 13-for-14 on FGA in five games prior to getting injured, so perhaps Sunday's poor showing was simply the kicker shaking off the rust from a long layoff. Barring a rash roster move, Moody should remain kicking for San Francisco in a crucial matchup against the Seahawks next Sunday.

49ers' Ricky Pearsall: Scores first career TD
Pearsall had four receptions (six targets) for 74 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-20 win over Tampa Bay.
Pearsall got the scoring started in the first quarter when he took a deep pass from Brock Purdy for 46 yards while extending the ball for the first touchdown of his professional career. The 24-year-old Pearsall served as the team's third wideout behind Deebo Samuel and Jauan Jennings, but the rookie was the only one of the three to get into the end zone. Pearsall appears to be gaining confidence in head coach Kyle Shanahan's offense as the team prepares to take on the Seahawks next Sunday.

49ers' George Kittle: Continues to ball out
Kittle had three receptions on four targets for 57 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Buccaneers.
Kittle continued his dominant fantasy campaign by scoring his seventh touchdown through eight active games. The star tight end had picked up the slack offensively while the 49ers suffered multiple injuries to key players over the first half of the season. With the team welcoming back star tailback Christian McCaffrey (Achilles) on Sunday, it was a positive sign to see the tight end still posting big fantasy numbers as the offense returns to full strength. Kittle continues to be one of the top options at his position heading into a Week 11 matchup against Seattle.

49ers' Deebo Samuel: Takes eight touches for 76 yards
Samuel (hip/oblique) corralled five of six targets for 62 yards and added 14 rushing yards on three attempts in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Buccaneers.
Samuel used the 49ers' recent bye week to heal up from a pair of injuries sustained in a Week 8 win over Dallas on Oct. 27. The dual-threat superstar took eight touches for a combined 76 yards for fantasy managers Sunday. Assuming he escaped this contest unscathed, Samuel should continue to be a focal point on offense for San Francisco in a crucial NFC West battle against the Seahawks next Sunday.

49ers' Jauan Jennings: Leading receiver Sunday
Jennings (hip) finished with seven receptions (11 targets) for 93 yards in Sunday's 23-20 win over Tampa Bay.
Jennings returned from a two-game absence (three weeks including the bye) and wound up leading the 49ers in receiving yards. The veteran slot man was also elevated to No. 2 on the depth chart following Brandon Aiyuk's (knee) season-ending injury, which occurred in the same contest Jennings suffered his hip injury. With good health and a larger role on offense, Jennings is looking like a hot pickup in fantasy for the second time this campaign. The 26-year-old can be considered a strong flex option heading into next Sunday's tilt against Seattle.

49ers' Brock Purdy: New season high in passing yards
Purdy completed 25 of 36 pass attempts for 353 yards and two touchdowns while adding four rushing attempts for 17 yards in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Buccaneers.
Purdy tossed one of his finer games of the season Sunday, committing no turnovers while producing just one punting scenario on offense. The 24-year-old benefited from the return of Christian McCaffrey (Achilles), who not only keeps defenses honest with his rushing ability but also provides another weapon for his quarterback as a receiver. Purdy set a new season high in terms of passing yards while coming just 15 yards short of his career-best mark. The Iowa State product will attempt to build off of this strong performance in a home tilt against the Seahawks next Sunday.

49ers' Christian McCaffrey: Gains 107 yards on 19 touches
McCaffrey (Achilles) rushed 13 times for 39 yards and caught six of seven targets for 68 yards in Sunday's 23-20 win over Tampa Bay.
McCaffrey made a successful 2024 debut after missing the first nine weeks of the fantasy season with tendinitis in both of his Achilles tendons followed by a bye. The 28-year-old was not limited in terms of usage or production, hitting the century mark in total yards while handling 19 touches. Backup running backs Jordan Mason and Isaac Guerendo touched the ball just once each, suggesting McCaffrey will resume his usual workhorse role on offense moving forward. CMC should be considered an elite fantasy play against a struggling Seattle defense in Week 11.
